For the first wash, I noticed how soft and silky my hair felt. The shampoo gives the perfect clean - it’s remove buildup without making my hair feel dry- And the scent? Absolutely beautiful. It’s a fresh soft rose fragrance that’s make every wash feel like a mini self- care moment. The conditioner is my favorite part. I don’t know how long they have been around, but I remember using a conditioner in the 90s in my grandparents shower, after swimming all day with my friends. It’s a good conditioner, is it life changing, no, but the scent is so nostalgic I can’t thing of any other scents from hair products that do that. I really thought I was so cool when I was younger and people could smell my hair and be like oh do you use Herbal Essences? It’s a good conditioner, it softens the hair and makes it less tangled. It rinses out well, and doesn’t take a long time to rinse. The packaging is also nostalgic, it looks similar enough to what I remember. I love when something reminds me of my childhood. So I will always have a special place in my heart for Herbal Essences
