The first thing you notice out of the box is how sturdy and heavy this cutting board is and that is a good thing. It has a large cutting surface and is well made to protect your counter tops. The checkerboard design is also useful for some downtime gameplay in the kitchen.

This is a very sturdy and attractive cutting board. It would make a nice serving piece for a charcuterie platter or displaying your freshly sliced bread. The only negative is that it has a VERY strong chemical odor to it. I am hoping that this will fade over time. I have not actually used the board yet because the smell is so strong it's overwhelming.

This is a beautiful cutting board and made with great quality. The deep grooves around the edge are so helpful for juices. Board washes up well. After just two uses there are quite a few cut grooves, but that is to be expected with a wooden cutting board. We have a Corian cutting board for meats, but this wooden one is better for the knives.

This cutting board is a really high quality, beautiful product. It is nice and sturdy, and it could even double as a serving platter as it is so nice. One side has a groove to catch liquids if you’re cutting something juicy, and the other is smooth. There are thoughtful notches carved into two sides to be used as handles to easily lift and transport the cutting board. Highly recommend.

The color on this cutting board is beautiful. I almost dont want to use it for its intended purpose so i dont mess up the look! Its very smooth to the touch, not rough at all. Im not sure what they use to seal the wood, but its beautiful. You could easily use this as a charcuterie board.

Beautiful quality thick board. Can be used for small and large items. I leave mine out for decor. It adds a beautiful spark to my kitchen. It’s a conversation piece. Pretty rare in design. I would recommend this board to all who are shopping for a cutting board.

I’m really impressed with this cutting board overall. It’s absolutely beautiful and looks great sitting out on the counter, which is a nice bonus. The board is very solid and heavy, so it doesn’t slide around while cutting—definitely feels like a high-quality piece. I especially like the grooved side handles, which make it much easier to lift and move despite the weight. The only downside was a strong odor when I first opened it, but after about a week of airing out, it completely went away. Overall, it’s a sturdy, attractive, and functional addition to my kitchen.

This cutting board is very sturdy. It’s got some weight to it. The checkerboard pattern is absolutely beautiful. It has finger grips on the side for ease of carrying. It also has a deep grove all the way around the top for liquids so they don’t just run off the board.

Was excited for this because I’ve been wanting a nice cutting board and this one looks really nice. I really like the checkered board pattern, and wood colors. This is a solid cutting board with a “juice” track around the perimeter. That “juice” track is not needed, but definitely helpful. The board doesn’t slide around or anything like that very stable, easy to cut on. My only issue is out of the box it kinda stinks. But I’ve left it out on the counter for a few days and either the smell is gone, or I just got use to it.

Beautiful checkered cutting board. Great size and thickness. Beautiful wood and nice recessed handles. Easy to clean. The only downside is the smell of it coming out of the packaging. I am hoping with consistent use and washing that smell goes away. To normal people this might not be an issue but I am sensitive to smells.
