ION Audio HydroGroove floating party speaker surprised me with its loud clear sound. It was the star of the pool party, everyone wanted to be by it. Lights are an awesome touch. Battery lasted a few hours and connectivity was a breeze.

if you buy this speaker you do so at your own peril. I just closed on a brand new home in Florida and thought this would be great for my pool and all of my relatives that are going to visit me. and for 3 weeks it was. until it just continuously started saying Bluetooth, Bluetooth, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Bluetooth Bluetooth... and there's no way to turn it off. Even when you power it down and troubleshoot. I'm technically savvy. this speaker is a piece of crap. if you buy it, you'll regret it. I would have given it zero Stars if I could have. I ended up beating it with a hammer because there was no other way to turn it off. true story. it's in my trash bucket right now. hopefully it doesn't start going off again

The speaker worked absolutely great for about 6 days. Now it won’t charge or power on whatsoever. Sam’s Club did a great job with the refund. However, now I’m stuck without a speaker for the pool! They’re sold out, and I have found something equivalent het

LOW BATTERY LIFE. Sound was OK (not JBL quality) but the problem, and the reason I'm returning it is that the battery lasted less than two hours at 50% volume. Charged it 100% out of box, and repeated a few times to be sure it wasn't "battery memory" but no luck. Dont buy for the pool, you better keep it plugged in all the time.

Will not get loud enough to hear as when the water hits the top it muffles the spund.

Retuned speaker didn’t work after the first use and would not charge again.

Works great! Just don’t throw it into the water while it’s playing.
