It smells great out of the bottle. It smells of whiskey but it's not strong enough to deter non whiskey lovers. It's more heavy on the salt and pepper. It seems more suitable for pork and beef.

Normally I love Kinder's seasoning. This one I would buy again. I did not care for it at all. The whiskey flavor was not very good. To compare it in flavor it almost tasted like a drink of a low quality whiskey. I was disappointed because I do enjoy both whiskey and peppercorn.
