This seems to be another case of New Coke, only this time brought on by Lay’s with the classic beloved Sour Cream & Onion. Why change something that was already good to begin with? I stand with the so many stating in unison that the new flavor is worse than the old. Now With More Flavor = Now With More Disappointment. WE WANT THE OLD FLAVOR BACK.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still remember when these chips first came out, 1986. We had them in a vending machine abd they couldn't keep enough in it. They are one great tasting chip, with all the right seasonings on them!!

I normally have to buy many bags of these. As they are always a crowd pleaser. Whether with salsa or nacho cheese or sour cream or just by themselves. Shhhh I even crush them up to use as coating for fried chicken... yes I did.. I've went there... super delicious and very versatile...

Cool ranch Doritos are my favorite, more so than regular nacho Doritos. They are a little less messy than regular Doritos, they don't stain my hands or mouth. The savory ranch flavor keeps me coming back…it's impossible to eat just one chip! They taste good with dips, but these chips are best on their own or alongside a fresh sandwich!

We keep these on hand in our house and use them for so much more than just a snack. Great to crush and mix half and half with our regular breading for oven fried chicken (incredible), is our favorite chip for taco salad, I could go on and on. Love these!

This is a true pioneer of Doritos! We all have had that one chip in the bag with the extra seasoning on it! That's the best chip out of the whole bag and after you have lick your fingers. There is nothing better than a bag of these with a sandwich or sub.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The chip has a wonderful crunch that makes it impossible to only eat a handful at a time. The salty taste is a perfect combination with the sour cream and onion seasoning. The only fault being as of the past year or so (post covid era) the seasoning has become sparse and doesn’t flavor all the chips equally.

At first, I thought the new flavor was a mistake, and that I just got a bad bag. I can't understand why they would change it. The new flavor has this overly sweet note that make it taste like rotten sour cream was used. I think it's disgusting, and even though this was my favorite snack for years, I don't think I'll be buying it again.

The blue bag as my daughter would call it she loves a blue bag Doritos they have good flavor crunchy never stale always good she always asks for the blue bag nothing ever else just the blue bag always delicious never disappointing I would I would recommend them to anybody

I love this flavor so much! I usually always gravitate towards these chips because they taste so good. Normally I would give 5 stars but lately I have been noticing that the flavor of ranch changed and its sharper which I dont really like. Still delicious though!
