Why are these so good I swear I cannot stop eating them they have such good flavor and in general are just very good I got to stop myself at these little bags so I don’t eat too many because once you pop you just can’t stop I know I’m a dork but these are delicious and my favorite flavor

I recently tried these “more flavor” sour cream & onion chips. These used to be my favorite chips since childhood. However, I find that the flavoring in new recipe is way too overpowering and they have a moldy Blue cheese aftertaste to them. It literally tastes like strong Blue cheese flavored chips. Now I can’t find sour cream & onion chips that I enjoy anymore. The original was absolutely the best. I’m also sad about this because the original were nostalgic to me. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. If people want more flavor, then they can dip them in sour cream & onion dip. Please bring back the previous recipe. If not, then try to make the flavor closer to the original but stronger… without the blue cheese moldy aftertaste. Please ; ;

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can't ever go wrong with some tasty Lay's Sour Cream and Onion Potato Chips. They are a classic! They taste amazing by themselves or you can add them to a bologna and cheese sandwich for a delivery crunch.

Bought a bag to go with dinner since my kids and I love sour cream and onion Lay's. I thought they had gone bad or something and had to check the bag. My kids also complained they tasted gross and might be stale. Nope...just a "more flavor" bag and new recipe. Inedible. They taste like rancid sour cream or something. Please change it back. Won't purchase again until or unless they bring back the original flavor.

This seems to be another case of New Coke, only this time brought on by Lay’s with the classic beloved Sour Cream & Onion. Why change something that was already good to begin with? I stand with the so many stating in unison that the new flavor is worse than the old. Now With More Flavor = Now With More Disappointment. WE WANT THE OLD FLAVOR BACK.

Were Dorito eaters in my family, and thats ok. Lol these are triangular nacho cheese flavored shaped chips with a dusting of more nacho cheese. They are so good, i eat them at lunch time with my sandwich, its a snack for game night, or chips used in nachos with cheese dip on movie night with the family. I will buy these again & again, we always have 3-4 chips open at the same time because we like to have options. Doritos is and will always be one of my favs. As a kid I remember my dad had us in weekends and wasn’t much of a cook and one day decided to lay the Doritos flat all over a oven pan. Keeping the chips touching just slightly then used sliced American cheese and added the cheese evenly over all of the chips, then putting it in the oven at 350 for 4-5mins or until all of the cheese is melted. He called it poor mans nachos and to this day I still like it like that I don’t eat it that way often but We still do make it. We also love eating the Cool Ranch too yum yum.

My go to chip! Anytime any place this is the first chip I think of getting. I personally like the cool ranch, I do like the other flavors but these are my top. They pair nicely with any sandwich or even a snack itself. Doritos Cool Ranch Flavored Tortilla Chips
