I grew up poor. We didn’t have snack food in our home. In the 6th grade, I spent the night at a friends house. Her Mom offered me cool ranch Doritos. When i ate the 1st one, it was like heaven in my mouth! I wanted to eat the whole bag, but I was too embarrassed to. They are my favorite chips since then!

It’s been a while since I have had a real good potato chip, before this bag even the Lays Sour cream and onion felt more like flat flavored oil soaked chips. My husband picked this bag up and poured some onto a plate before I saw the package. I stole one of his chips and was like “Oh that’s a good batch with a lot of flavor, I better go get some for myself.” Well, I grabbed the bag and sat down. Enjoyed chip after chip and started scanning the bag because I was curious if they were just that fresh or maybe a new flavor. That’s when I saw the tag “more flavor in each bite” and said aloud “spot on Lays.” Delicious and remind me of when I was a kid and enjoyed the chips so much. Seems like with all the avoid trans fat recipe changes these are now more like they used to be long ago and so good!

This has been my favorite chips forever and just today I purchased a bag in the new flavor. It’s been ruined. It’s too salty and has a strange taste to it like it’s cheesy. If the old flavor is not back I will no longer be purchasing this in the future. Not sure why they decided to ruin a good thing. For anyone who is looking for an alternative until this is fixed (if at all), Whole Foods sour cream & onion chips is good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lays Dill Pickle flavor chips are my favorite! They have just the perfect blend of salt, vinegar, and dill flavors! I can’t stop eating them once I start! My only problem is that I eat them so much that I cause myself bodily harm in the form of tongue sores.

What can I say a childhood favorite!! All the time we have atleast 3 bags in the pantry ask the time! We eat these with everything! Cheese dips, taco salads, eat with burgers and hot dogs and so so much more. Let alone with an sandwich! So so good! Especially now with extra spice!

I know this isn’t a pic of cool ranch but this is what I had on hand Love cool ranch Doritos - who doesn’t!? I love when I get a bag with lots of seasoning - and gotta mention the best part about enjoying any Doritos - LICKING YOUR FINGERS AFTER THE BAGS ALL GONE ;)

Hint of tangy, all the salt in the world and filling. My second favorite chip. I usually enjoy them with a honey roasted ham sandwich with lettuce, mustard, onions, and Mayo on wonder bread. They are my cheap thrill and if you want something crunchy, bit of tang and spice, get these chips cuz I love’em

Another Lil German chip company out of PA makes and awesome dill pickle chip and dill is second to the last on the ingredient list but it's there and visible on the chip
