It held up beautifully to sauces (cheese and marinara). I plan to do a baked recipe the next time. I love incorporating healthier versions of foods we love.

I've tried every specialty pasta: garbanzo, quinoa, brown rice, corn… and have not been able to eat it. The texture is not off like many other brands and does not have a gummy texture. Very similar to traditional pasta.

Has a nice bite, held onto my marinara sauce well, and overall an easy, delicious component to use for pasta night.

I do like that wheat is still the primary ingredient and it's just fortified with the Lupini beans. I've had pasta made from only lentils or chickpeas before and was not a fan of the taste or texture. This tastes just like normal pasta. I did cook it a little longer than the box instructions suggested, as I prefer more floppy soft pasta over al dente, and it came out perfect. Personally, I'm not concerned about getting more protein in my diet, but if you are, this is a great choice.
