Purchased this bed after years of trying different memory foam and other kinds of bed toppers. I like a plush soft bed where my wife is a firm or very firm type of mattress person. We did a bunch of research online that a either a hybrid mattress or a purple may be the way for us to both be happy. I honestly just want to try something different than the standard mattress. I read countless reviews online about purple and pulled the trigger. We are roughly 3 weeks in and still talk about how good of an investment the mattress was. I highly recommended it. Delivery was pretty quick through fed ex. Set up was super easy. Easy enough my wife and teenage daughter set up before I arrived home from work. I also recommend the purple sheets and mattress protector!

We had a good, firm mattress before, but when I became pregnant my hips and back were hurting every morning. We decided to try out the Purple mattress on the recommendation of a friend, and my hip and back pain dissipated overnight! It's soft yet supportive in all the right places. Plus we love the free sheets that came with it.

The Purple Matress was shipped great (on time) and right to my door actually a day early. Getting the mattress out was a bit hard (it's heavy), but it's definitely worth it. The mattress smells a bit - NOT like powder - but like the classic new clothes or pillow smell. I had an air filter in my room and the smells quickly disappated from the mattress. (There is a small bit of smell still on the mattress after 1 hour.) But man... this matress is Sooo good. The smart comfort grid is great and really does give you a weightless feel. The whole mattress is so responsive and great for pressure relief. I would definitely buy this again.

In all seriousness, while the color did catch my eye, it was the amazingly thorough job they did explaining the varied reasons and purposes behind every innovation they made to the mattress. These thoughtful improvements, when brought together, make a mattress well worth the comfort.

When I very first laid on my purple mattress I was skeptical. I have always preferred a softer more hugging mattress. The purple is more of a Medium firm. I never had a bad nights sleep!!! I am a side sleeper and after a heavy sleep my hips usually hurt. Not in my new purple bed! Your body it's almost weightless as your laying down. I am still looking for the perfect pillow. Because I was used to laying in a debt of my old mattress I now need a higher pillow.

After about a month, I am still loving my Purple mattress! I was afraid I would have an adjustment period but it was not necessary. I slept well the first night. I decided to splurge on a new mattress during my divorce. I needed to get rid of the mattress that had our respective "holes" so I can sleep anywhere I wanted in the bed. I am so very happy with my Purple mattress and will tell everyone I know!

My husband and I have owned a Tempurpedic (two different models), and a sleep number bed. I hated them both. Ever since I started having kids I have had pain in my lower back. I slept with a lumbar pillow at the base of my spine just under my hips, just to try and ease the tension. We bought the Purple king-size mattress in June 2016, while I was visiting my family in Alpine, UT (where the Purple factory is). At that time I had been going to physical therapy for my back pain for a couple of months. After a few nights of sleep on our new Purple, I noticed the back pain beginning to subside. Since my back was feeling better, I stopped going to physical therapy. It is now October 2016, four months after purchase, and I have had no lower back pain. I no longer have to sleep with an annoying pillow under my hips. After a few weeks of sleeping on the Purple, my husband decided to sleep on our old Tempurpedic (which has been moved to the guest room), just to see if he could tell a difference. He has always been happy with the Tempurpedic and the sleep number beds, but after that one night on the Tempurpedic, he felt a huge difference in his quality of sleep. He said that the Tempurpedic was like sleeping on a cement slab. My 10-year-old son (who has arthritis) wishes he could have one, but they don't make a normal Twin-size mattress. He tells everyone about his parents' Purple mattress, even encouraging visitors to try out our bed. He even sleeps with the Purple seat pillows we own, and takes them to church with him to sit on. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my purple mattress.

When shopping for a new mattress I thought I was going to have to spend at least $5,000. I held my breath and took a chance and ordered a Purple mattress. I could not be more pleased. It is comfortable and I don't have the aches and pains I had with my old mattress. I highly recommend Purple!

While we did not end up keeping our mattress, as it was not quite right for us, Purple was a great company to use. We live in rural MT and our mattress was delivered right to our door. Instead of returning the mattress to Purple, we were able to donate it to a local charity AND get our full refund. This is a great way to go since our mattress will now be able to go to a family in need instead of in a landfill. Thank you Purple for the great customer experience even though we did not end up keeping our bed.

I'm a Retired Marine so I'll tell you like it is, and this bed is good to go. After serving 20 years in the Marines I can sleep on any surface no matter if it hurt my body, but to tell you the truth, I'm not as lean and not as mean but I'm still a Marine that wants comfort. I decided to buy a purple mattress and glad I did. It did hurt the first two days because my body was used-to sleeping wrong. Plus they challenged me to sleep on it for 30 days so my body could get realigned right, and being a Marine, I said " Challenge excepted"! It's been two weeks now and I like it. Even my hard as nails wife likes it to. Hey how about you all make a recliner like a lazy boy out of this stuff?
