The whole 100 night free trial was what brought us in. It hasn't been 100 nights and already know we're keeping it. Pricey, yes... but with it. Wife is 110lbs, I'm 190lbs and it's comfortable for both of us! Thanks Purple. Hilarious emails also, you'll know what I mean when you get them.

I'm a 36 year old woman, size 16, 200 lbs who has a ruptured disc in my low back, nerve pain in my low back and right leg. After a few nights adjusting to the feel of this mattress I love it! It forms to my hips and doesn't apply too much pressure but aligns my spine well. For the first time after 17 years of marriage my husband and I can cuddle for a couple of hours and fall asleep without getting uncomfortable and tossing and turning. I still move a bit during the night, but much, much less. It's more comfortable than any mattress I've tried. I sleep much deeper, can get comfortable on my back and even my husband says he doesn't wake up as a achy as before. It is pretty heavy and hard to move, but the good sleep is well worth it.

I am 68 years old with severe arthritis in my knees and back, plus I was in a serious car accident in 2002, which has left me with permanent back issues and a weight gain of almost 100 pounds! Over the years I have tried everything on the market to try and get a good night's sleep, up to and including the premier sleep number adjustable bed. On top of that bed I placed another 4 inch memory foam topper... Still waking up every two or three hours stiff and in pain and needing to shift my position. I couldn't believe it! And my back wasn't stiff or screaming at me! I know in my heart that as my body receives the healing sleep it needs, my health will improve. My daughter has already brought two of her friends over to lay on my bed! She will be ordering her own soon! Thank you for giving me hope that soon I can return to vibrant health! This bed runs cold as ice, you NEED THE STRETCH SHEETS, they make it much better and warmer. Initially we tried regular oversize sheets, they suck, dont do it. Back and stomac sleepers will love this. Side sleepers not so much. Im a combo , but mostly side sleeper, the lack of side position compression and how cold it was, killed it for me.

Bed feels good but is a little firmer than I think I would have liked. Maybe it's because I'm 245lbs and need the model with the support coils but we though 1200 was enough as it is for a mattress. Overall still like it and the lack of heat with the purple original mattress and the premium sheets was amazing to me being a hot sleeper like I am. Much much cooler. The grid feels cool.

I was truly hopeful and excited the Purple mattress would deliver on its technological promises and alleviate my neck and shoulder pinched nerve issues but instead, it made them worse. The marketing is great, but obviously every body is different. I even tried the suggestions from the Purple team (stretchy sheets and mattress protector) and those did not work either. Honestly, disappointing.

Always skeptical about not being able to lay on a mattress first, we did a lot of research on the purple before deciding to buy it. We'd been through three mattresses in seven years and two out of three were not cheap. I am awaiting hip surgery and would wake up multiple times because of the pain. It was so bad my unaffected side was starting to hurt. My husband had packed the holes on his side of the bed with towels and was waking up a lot too. We decided having given the same mattress store three times to get it right and having the same results, we'd take the chance, since it only cost about a third of what we spent on out last mattress. Customer service was great. I just made a comment on Facebook that I couldn't wait to get mine because of the upcoming surgery and a purple rep contacted me personally. We'd been waiting about two and a half weeks and was wondering when it would ship. They shipped it the next day and we had it soon after. We set it up, tried it out and wanted to stay in bed. Instant comfort! The funny thing is our Golden Retriever tried it out with us and she laid down and sighed. It was her dinner time and we had to physically pull her off the bed. Anyway, I guess constantly waking up must have gotten to use because we both slept through the entire night that first night. I am a side sleeper and am even able to lay on my bad side without any pressure or pain. I loved it so much, I bought the seat cushion and love that too. We ordered the pillows as well. There is no more powerful advertisement than word of mouth. We've told multiple people about this wonderful mattress and quite a few are looking into buying their own. With the purple, I'm not waking up in the middle of the night to take a pain pill and I'm not getting up in morning in extreme pain needing another pain pill. The purple is also lower than our old pillow top, which makes it easier for me to get in and out of bed. I really can't say enough about my purple mattress. Four thumbs up from me and my husband and two paws up from our Golden retriever. Yes, if we're out she goes into the bedroom to sleep on the bed. She never did that before. I guess you can say it's human and canine approved. :)

It works. Hard to beat that. Came in the mail rolled up and obviously portable. Unwarped, it flattened out perfectly. Sleeping on it is easy - not too soft at all. So far, support on the edges is excellent. Oh - no scent at all if you wondered about it.

I wasn't sure before I bought it. I thought it was just hype, so I was curious. The first night was pretty good, but I still was doubtful that it was because of the bed. Here I am about a month later waking up rested, and now I know and admit that is because of the Purple mattress. It's excellent, and I am happy I bought it, but it also makes me somewhat scared for the times I'll have to travel for work. ALL hotels should get PURPLE!

I bought two of the seat cushions, and my husband thought it wasn't helping very much, so I then had two for myself. Well, about 4 days later, one of my cushions from my living room chair was missing. I asked my husband, and he said he had borrowed it as he noticed that it was much more comfortable to sit on than his pile of regular cushions! So, now I have to move mine around again, but that's ok, as we are both more comfortable!!!!
