my wife and I both had bad back pain and she has scoliosis. Our memory foam bed caved in the middle after one year of having it we always woke up in pain. This bed has made THE BIGGEST difference. You don't sink into a bed of sweat and heat, you lay so comfortably on top of a cool to the touch bed and the SHEETS ARE AMAZING. BREATHABLE STRETCHY AND SO SOFT. The bed frame was so easy to put together I predicted it'd take me an hour or so. No. It took FIVE MINUTES. I recommend this bed to everyone

Mainly a side sleeper and I've had really bad back problems for a while. I've had the mattress for a week and half and my back feels noticeably different, in a good way. No complaints. And I was a little worried at first. I went through a lot of the reviews before finally ordering and I am happy with it. One thing I noticed about the pillow though. And I had two goes at it. My boyfriend bought me a purple pillow last year and I noticed the first two nights I woke up hot which was weird but after that it's be very comfortable. Got a second one when I ordered the mattress and same thing happened with the pillow again. But again after the second night no waking up hot and sweaty.

Twin XL matress supports all near 250 lbs of me. Comes in a nice soft cover(in case you were wondering if it came naked, cause I wasn't sure) Took a couple days to get used to, but I wake in the morning able hop out of bed...no shoulder pain, no hip/knee issues. Big selling point for me is this matress should not break down like previous spring matresses and I don't trust foam, even memory foam pillows turned into foam bricks for me. No more sleeping in a divot or flipping me or the matress around(which is good because, fair warning, this matress is pretty weighty). I am pleased as Purple and hopefully will be for years to come.

I've known about Purple since their original run of "Goldilocks" ads when they demonstrated the special material the bed uses. I was pretty impressed by their raw egg test. Still, it often pays to be skeptical, but after finally getting the mattress I can honestly say that it doesn't exaggerate a single claim. Purple promises no-pressure support. Initially, I was put off by how firm the mattress was, but once you sink in (which takes only seconds if you're still) you cannot feel any pressure. The only pressure I felt was where my limbs would touch one another. I've only felt this kind of support on a waterbed and Purple gets the same effect without the hassle. They promise motion isolation and rapid recovery of the material. It's there. The material actually bounces back a little too fast, but again, just lie still and you're fine. The mattress sleeps very cool for an all foam mattress. I've actually found that it (and the pillows) can be a tad too cool at times, but I wouldn't call that a complaint, just not something I ever expected from a mattress. Purple doesn't promise you the world, but what it does claim it backs up one hundred percent. I didn't even have a weird adjustment period like the FAQs warned about. The first night I was out in minutes.

I love the mattress and the way it gives support for the lower back. I move a lot when I sleep at night and when I sleep on my side I feel that it doesn't have enough give and leaves my shoulder feeling sore in the morning. If you are a side sleeper I recommend not getting the purple original, but one of the thicker padded mattresses like purple 3. This one is a little too stiff.

Everything about our new Purple king frame and mattress is wonderful! My only advice to the company... Warn people about how HEAVEY the mattress is! Yes, it was delivered to our front door and we were excited to set it up. My husband, adult daughter and I had so much trouble getting it up the stairs!!! If we had known we would have arranged for another man to help us! Please let customers know this ahead of time. We love our bed! Thank you!

I'm a light sleeper, and have spent most of my adult life tossing and turning while I sleep. Either my mind won't shut off or a pressure point on the mattress makes me uncomfortable. Ever since I brought Purple into my home, everything has changed. After adjusting to the mattress for about 3 days, I have never slept better. I fall asleep quickly and sleep through the whole night. That NEVER used to happen. I love my mattress. Purple, you rock!

First, customer service is excellent! I was pretty sore the first week after sleeping on this mattress but that isn't unusual for me and I don't blame the mattress. I was concerned it might be too hard but hung in there and am adjusting to it now. It's only been three weeks and I expect I will love it more and more each night. I have chronic sciatica pain which used to wake me often and not allow me to stay in bed for more than 6 hours. I am sleeping better overall, sciatica is not an issue during sleep hours and am sleeping a little longer. I really liked that there was no off gassing. My only wish is that the top surface had a little Cush. I definitely recommend this mattress!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE our Purple mattress, it took a little getting used to.. but in defense to the mattress, when we first got it, we didn't have the sheets.. so we woke up in pain.. once we got the sheets, it was a game changer!! I'm very sad to report we ordered our sheets in March and they already have a hole in them & it's not even on the top where we could have possibly put a hole in them, it's near the edge that gets pulled over the side of the mattress.. they have been the BEST FEELING SHEETS I HAVE EVER USED.. literally AMAZING. But at the price I have to spend to get an extra set when I JUST bought these.. I'm pretty let down & just can't afford another set at the moment just to have them get another hole.. I wish there was some sort of warranty of sorts & understand why there isn't.. but it still sucks majorly. Taking one star away for the sheet issue, other than that.. five stars!

I got the Cal King bed, the frame, the sheet protector, and the sheets. Oh, and a seat cushion. Let me tell you, I was skeptical that the frame and the stretchy sheets would make a difference but I was wrong. They make a difference. I loved the bed before we got them (there was a shipping delay), and I love it even more now that I have the sheets. They are tight and a beautiful fit. It's like I have brand new clean sheets everyday because they never get out of place. The mattress cover isn't perfectly like that but with the sheets on top it's fine. I love this bed! I was getting tension headaches and having tight muscles for months and they have gone away since I got the bed. Coincidence? I don't know...but I had the headaches for 7 months straight and now I only get about one a week. Hmmm...
