We were in search of a new mattress due to ours being old and from the discomfort. We were read through many reviews on the Purple Mattress and decided this would be the best option. After the first night, we woke up and was not very pleased with mattress. So we said maybe it is just because it is new. After two and half weeks, it doesnt seem to be getting any better! We wake up, our backs hurt and my hips hurt. We have been seriously thinking about calling to return the mattress. Please help! What are we doing wrong? Does it make a difference if it's on a platform?

By far the best sleep we've ever gotten! If we had the money, we would buy one for every bedroom in the house, but the master will do! You need to make a camping pad and we would happily invest in those. We literally can't wait to go to bed every night!

So far so good. The mattress has helped with a lot of back issues both and my husband have. We were both surprised of how heavy the rolled mattress was. Thank goodness our nephew was able to heft it up a flight of stairs. I have one recommendation...place the cutter in a more visible area. We had to cut it open using a knife and the found the cutter inside.. we also purchased a seat cushion which wasn't as helpful. After using it, something about the shape and size caused an imbalance, aggravating the sciatic nerve. We had to stop using it. Everything else is ok. Thank you.....

My husband and I have needed a new mattress for a while and although I sell furniture/mattress, we both have different takes on what type of mattress we wanted. So, I did some research and we talked it over and made our decision on the purple mattress. It's amazing! I love the amount of support it gives. We both love it and couldnt be happier with the decision we made.

I couldn't exactly say that it's like sleeping on a cloud, mostly because whenever I have a moment to think about the mattress, I'm usually already fast asleep. The process of unfolding the mattress is the hardest part about the thing, and the lack of a firm edge creates an interesting brainfart as you attempt to put clean sheets on every few weeks. It is, a mattress, and it seems to tick all the boxes, including ones I wasn't sure existed because, science. I look forward to falling asleep at night (is that weird?). All in all, I'm so happy with this mattress i think I may have to Zzz.....

My husband and I both wake up in the mornings with some sort of back or shoulder pain. After reading the reviews I was super hopeful that the purple mattress was the answer. Although my husband does seem to have gotten a little relief from the mattress, I have not and to me it is just another expensive mattress. Good luck to future buyers, I do hope this mattress brings you relief.

I have gone through 3 mattresses!! THREE!!! In less than 10 years. I have suffered with serious hip pain. I have bought new shoes, gone to the Chiropractor and had countless massages (which I do not regret, who regrets a great massage) and nothing would fix the pain permanently. I bought this mattress for our guest bed after my daughter showed me the commercial, which is very humorous by the way. The claims just seemed ridiculous to me. I had heard similar claims about the other mattresses I had purchased. But you had a 100 day try it or return it so I thought, what the heck. I wanted my guests to be comfortable. WELL...when it arrived and we set it up, which was easy as pie, I decided to take a nap. I woke up for the first time in years with NO pain, I repeat, NO PAIN!! I was elated. I love our guest mattress so much we are planning on buying one for our bed also. We have been saving up and will be purchasing ours soon. For now when my husband is out of town on business I sleep in the guest room and wake up with no pain and I have noticed because of the better sleep and no pain I have much more energy. Thank you for providing such a wonderful product, you now have a customer for life!!

I've had my purple bed for over 3 weeks and I couldn't be happier with it. I don't suffer from any sleeping issues, I mainly got the bed for my husband who suffers from sciatica and is also a very hot sleeper. It has helped him tremendously. We got the king size because we co sleep with our daughter and she's even sleeping good on it. We are very pleased!

I purchased a Queen size Purple mattress, when it arrived there was a large dip/crease across the entire width of the mattress that was at least 3" deep. It was deformed and not useable. It was also almost 4" shorter in width and length than dimensions that are listed online, which meant the mattress didn't fit my bed frame properly. I called customer service and whey were very polite and said they'd rush me a new mattress as a replacement and take the defective one away. This time the replacement mattress was delivered late and didn't arrive on the day it was supposed to. To make matters worse, after opening it up I found a 3" dip/crease in the top corner of the mattress; and this one was also 3+ inches smaller in length & width than it's supposed to be. In both cases, each mattress had some deformity where there was essentially a large 'pothole' leaving the mattress not useable and each mattes was smaller than it should be. While the mattress is very comfortable, I can't accept paying $1K+ for a mattress with defects, and Purple's quality control is seriously dropping the ball here. And whats the deal with the mattress being smaller than they should be? I called customer service again and told them about my issues with my replacement mattress and asked that a manager/supervisor should call me back and do something about the issues I've been having and the inconvenience they have caused, but I never heard back from anyone at Purple. I really wanted to like/support this mattress and company, and while it seems comfortable, they have dropped the ball too many times and I no longer trust their quality being that they cant even send me a mattress w/o defects, nor did a manager care enough to follow up on my request. I will be sending back this mattress and try a Tuft & Needle or one of the other products out there. Purple, you really need to step up your game! P.S. The Purple seat cushion is not worth it either, as I have 2 of them and they're very uncomfortable and way too 'squishy' for a comfortable seating posture.

First let me start by saying I am used to a soft mattress. Purple is not that. When I am laying on it, I think that it is not all that comfortable because I am used to sleeping on a serious pillow top, but with that said I have been sleeping better than I have in years. We are still in our 100 day trial and every night before I fall asleep, I question if we should keep it and then I wake up incredibly rested feeling of course we should keep it. I didn't buy the Purple pad and sheets because I didn't want to spend the extra money if we didn't love it. Now I am thinking I should and see how it changes the feel. All in all I happy with my sleep but not my lounge time.
