Learning to Love Again

We have had our Purple mattress for two months now. The old mattress, we'll call her Beddy, was a pillow top who had lost her umph, a king sized beauty with gravitational pull to the black hole known as the middle. The Purple Mattress came and Beddy was out the door... it felt a bit like cheating at first, A little uncomfortable but really exciting (I'm told). Purple has reinvigorated the night time hours for us... given the **** for sleep back to a once lustless home. Thank you Purple. Thank you. BUT REALLY: don't give up during the second or third week when you're having trouble adjusting.... your body will rebel the spinal alignment at first.... stay the course. You'll thank me later.

Was having major back pain due to work fatigue and the old memory foam mattress I had had Sunken in to the point where my side head just this massive crater of where I slept and offered no relief for the lower back pain I had this mattress now from purple has helped tremendously so glad I made the switch and my wife loves it too

Sleep

In time all thing are normal. If you wish to sleep then given enough time you will pass out but if you want to sleep and wake up feeling better then ever before get this mattress. As someone that does not have the money or time to spend looking for anything nice I can tell you that jumping into this has saved me more money then I can know. Sleep is like food with out a good meal you can not work. You need good food to be your best and you need good sleep as well.

Me and my wife have been sleeping on the Purple mattress Queen size for about a month now. It took my body about a week and a half to get adjusted to the bed. It is a firm but yet soft bed, But my wife does not need a pillow for her knees now and shes sleeping the best she has ever slept. I would recommend getting the bed and trying it out.

Does not keep shape

This mattress is great for about 6 months, then it starts to wear out. You won't notice how bad it is until you start to feel shoulder pain, and can't roll out of the deep divit you are sleeping in. It does not keep it's shape at all and is just another bad memory foam mattress that will sag. The one year warranty is not long enough for you to notice how bad it gets and to try to get it repaired or replaced. I would NOT recommend this to anyone, it is a tempoary mattress only.

I really like my new purple mattress.

My mattress came right on time. It was very easy to set up. I tend to be able to sleep on something as hard as a floor. In comparing all the mattresses I narrowed it down to the purple mattress. After having the same mattress for so long it was a bit difficult to get used to a new mattress but I have to say I really like it. It feels just a little bit soft for me but otherwise I love the texture on the top, I love the feeling of staying cool and it's really comfortable.

broken mattress cover

This company doesn't stand by their product!!! The mattress cover zipper broke less than 1 year of having the bed. I didn't worry to much about it because i thought i had a 10 year warranty . When I moved my bed 2 years and 1 month after purchasing the mattress i decided to see about getting a replacement cover. The message i got back was to bad you have had it for over 2 years it is no longer covered. I guess my next bed wont be a purple mattress. You would think they would cover it since it broke well before the warranty and i reported a month past the 2 year warranty (my bad). READ THE FINE PRINT.... the 10 year warranty they boast about does not include the cover. Poor good customer service.

Wares out suddenly around 4 years

The first 4 years were fantastic, very comfortable and cool. But right around year 4 it tanks. I wake up nearly every day with hip and low back pain at age 23... It's ridiculously firm now and I toss and turn all night. And since it was so expensive I can't afford or justify buying a new mattress yet. I'm on year five and it keeps getting worse and worse. Unless I sleep on the very edges where it's not worn it's basically like sleeping on a thick carpet. Would not recommend unless you're rolling in cash. There's much better and cheaper options out there.

Disappointing product and service

I would say the entire experience was disappointing from end to end...from the product through customer service. We placed our order and after two weeks of radio silence, we finally called Purple. I asked for a return call and no one returned it. So I called again and the customer service rep said it had already shipped. We were supposed to have received a notification and did not. Hard to believe that it had actually shipped at that time because we still didn't receive the mattress for another two weeks. Once we got the mattress, we didn't find it comfortable at all. My husband is a side sleeper. He would sleep for about the first four hours and then wake up with the side of his body in pain, not able to fall back asleep. I sleep on my back and stomach, and I didn't think it was comfortable either. We stuck with it for 30 days hoping it would get better, but it never did. It's a really hard mattress. It seemed like our bodies didn't sink into it at all. Very uncomfortable. On the upside, the return process was pretty easy. They had a company come pick it up quickly and they refunded our money within 4 or 5 business days.
