I have had the bed for about 3 weeks not and I have to say that I am impressed! It sleeps very comfortably. I do not get hot! I do not sink to far into the mattress so that I would not roll around (I am over 225 lbs.). I do not ache in the mornings !!! The mattress comes in that sleeping bag roll... if you move this by your self and plan to set it up by yourself, It is like moving a 110 lbs. drunk person or dead body... it moves but it just flops around... once you go to get it out of the bag it would be nice if there where some unrolling instructions on the plastic wrap... so that you don't unroll it upside down... NOTE: I did not have to cut the bag that holds it as packaging!! it just slid out... its a huge duffle bag!! unfortunately my vacuum seal was busted so there was no rewarding inflation while unwrapping... and then I had to flip the mattress over which is harder than you would think... (Think flipping a 110LBS wet noodle)... I would buy another mattress from them again... The purchase process is very easy ... The waiting on shipping is like waiting on Christmas morning though!! It took about a week for it to get here...

I bought the queen-size original purple mattress and I absolutely love it. I am 52 years old and I can not remember the last time I have slept so good for so long.. I also have the purple pillow which in my opinion everyone should have whether you're on a purple mattress or not

The first few nights were very comfortable as I found the support my previous mattress was missing. However, below the top layer, the mattress has gotten too firm and unyielding for me to find a comfortable position and I end up tossing and turning most nights now. If I could get the top layer as the majority of the mattress it might work, but the lower layers feel like they are too firm.

I'm a back sleeper. I was attracted to Purple because bad experiences had turned me off of spring mattresses, but I doubted an all foam mattress could give me enough support. Adding thus new high tech new technology to it, though, made it sound like it could do the job - provide support while feeling soft. On the surface (no pun intended), the mattress did feel more comfortable than any I'd yet owned. It felt great as I lounged around on it on my stomach or side with my phone or laptop. When it came to sleeping, though, at first, it was a nightmare! The pain srarted in my hips and radiated up to my shoulders. It felt like my hips were sinking far lower into the mattress than the rest of my body. According to the pictures of the ideal shape of the spine, they're supposed to do that, but it HURT! On some desperate night, I rolled over to my side to relieve the discomfort. It felt VERY comfortable when on my side, but I still couldn't sleep because that's not my position. The website and customer reviews said this was common, give it time. Okay. My mattress arrived Sept. 22. Less than 2 weeks later, the pain stopped. It was by no means the most mindblowingly comfortable bed I ever slept on or anything, but usable. Then on Oct. 16, I left for a multi night bike trip and came back 11 nights later. The pain was back. And stayed for days. I decided I couldn't just stop traveling, and I couldn't go through this every time I traveled, so the first Sunday in November, I admitted defeat and called to return it. They were wonderful about it; the return process could not have been easier. My prediction came true: during the week between the initial phone call, getting a new mattress, and getting the old one picked up, I adjusted again and felt comfortable. Since it was still nothing special and I couldn't go through the adjustment process every time I slept somewhere else, I went through with the return, though. If you're a side sleeper like the vast majority of the population, I highly recommend getting this. I bet it was designed with you in mind. If you're a rare back sleeper like me, I still recommend trying it. If you don't like it, it's easy to return, but there's every chance you could like it (if you give yourself time to adjust).

I was so excited to get my Original Purple mattress. It was extremely heavy, but once I got it on the bed frame, I couldn't wait to sleep on it. My first night was "different" because I had been so use to my standard spring mattress, but the second night I really started feeling the difference. It allows air to flow and keep me cool during the night and the whole bed doesn't move when I move. I have found I am sleeping deeper which is amazing since I use to wake up every little bit.

I purchased the Purple mattress with great expectations. I was replacing an older sleep number mattress which was very uncomfortable. I found the Purple Mattress to be much too hard. The top layer isn't thick enough and my body sank into the hard under layer. Customer service was terrific and took care of removing the mattress and gave me a fast refund.

The mattress was delivered so much faster than we expected! That was wonderful since I needed a bed, but what's even better is the quality of the mattress. I wasn't sure how much I would love it compared to the more expensive mattresses in the store, but it has been perfect (especially for the price). My back has been feeling better, and it has been a great fit for both me and my partner, who likes a softer bed than I do.

Best purchase to date. The bed is amazing. I happen to partake in excessive sweating. Not gonna lie, there are mornings where I wonder if the grid is all filled up with shots of my gloss. Kinda nervous to get the mattress protector, don't want it changing the feel of how 'ooey and gooey' the bed feels all cupped around my sore self at night. The sheets especially, fresh out of the dryer, are a great moment as well- stretch is fun..they do retain water though. Wouldn't want to put too many in a boat, or on top of me at night. Probably just going to get some more medication for the sweating or slow down the drinking. ..Or maybe take the gamble on the ole' pad for it, who knows. Purple, you feel great though. You asked for a review, and you got it!

Firstly to let you know... I am a blue collar worker that has recently taken my father into my home because I don't want him to go to a Nursing home. He has a lot of trouble with pain in his back and hips. And after seeing a lot of the Purple adds, and doing a little research on this mattress? I knew it would be the best thing for him. Knowing that there are a lot more underlying problems internally with him! I thought this would be a very good first step to making him as comfortable as possible, getting him a better night sleep than he had gotten in the past. That would promote a better day the next day with activities. And it definitely has. The reason I titled this review the way I did? Is simply because it is true. Literally, the night before this Purple mattress arrived. I heard him up and about.. Keeping me up worrying about him. The day after it arrived and we replaced his old mattress with this new one? I didn't hear anything that night. So? Not only did he get the rest that he deserves... I also wasn't woken up wondering why he was up at odd hours. I noticed right away when I got up for work the day after he slept on it, that... He was smiling, had coffee ready for the both of us, and was walking around the house with a little more "Pride, in his Stride". This was and probably always will be the very best investment I have ever made. Thank you, Purple for making my Dad feel better. And in turn! Making me feel better. A loving son and customer. love this bed! It took about 4 weeks for us to adjust to this mattress, but now we sleep sound all night and wake up feeling less aches and pains. Would definitely recommend and tell anyone buying to be patient for the first few weeks while your body adjusts. I sleep on my stomach and my boyfriend is a back sleeper and we both love it.
