I did not want to believe the hype that has been surrounding this mattress and brand for all this time, but I finally pulled the trigger and invested in one. I was nervous it was not going to improve my sleep, but it did immediately. I will say it took my body maybe a full week to adjust to it, but now I have no trouble sleeping. I even have the purple pillow! Invest in your health by investing in your sleep!!! I now trust all things Purple!

I had been experiencing some lower back issues and knew that my mattress was a likely culprit in my inability to get better. I haven't upgraded my mattress in quite some time, and I knew that I needed to make a change soon. I consider myself a frequent online shopper, but there are some things I hesitate to buy online if I can't try it out in person. A mattress was on that list. Cue: Purple marketing. I came across a Purple ad on Facebook about a year prior, and ever since then, I considered myself obsessed (yep, you got me). The marketing was cute and very creative, but I was trying to not let that influence my practical side. Did I really want to spend that much on a mattress that I couldn't even try out in person? I know it came with a 100 night trial, but who wants to go through buying a mattress, trying it out, dealing with its heftiness, and returning it. Not me. So after much research - reading online reviews, watching too many videos to name, and comparing pros and cons against other mattresses, AND an incident that left me with a couple of pinched nerves, I went for it. I bought the queen purple mattress (although, I wish I would have gotten the king), as well as the associated platform frame. The process to purchase was so incredibly easy, and the updates I received on shipping and tracking were fantastic. I am going to be honest, the day it arrived, I had very high expectations. I was expecting it to completely change my life. Not only was it going to make my back feel better, I was going to sleep cooler and not feel anything when my partner turned over. It may as well have been made of gold, as far as I was concerned. Well, I have to say that after a month and a half, my expectations (for the most part) are still being met. Since I did so much research, I knew that people were a little surprised at how thin the mattress is. This did not bother me at all - I love that it supports me and I can sleep in any position without any body part falling asleep. I used to be a side sleeper 100%. Now, I can sleep on my back, on my side, and on my stomach without any issues. While I would like to think that it solved my back issues, I think my chiropractor helped; however, I do notice that my pain comes back slightly if I sleep on another mattress. So Purple for the win in helping keep my chiropractor bills at a reasonable amount! I definitely sleep cooler, which is great. My body temp runs pretty high on a regular basis, so to stay cool and not wake up all sweaty is amazing. I can still feel my partner move, but I think it is because we got the queen instead of the king. However, we don't move as much in our sleep anymore because we are sleeping a lot better than we used to. I definitely won't be returning the Purple mattress and hope to one day have one in every room of my house. I am even trying to convince family members of my awesome sleep state these days. I am thankful that the creative marketing got me hooked, and for once, I would say that this marketing doesn't lead you on. Purple delivers on exactly what they say they deliver on. So if you are questioning your decision, trust me - it really will change your life...at least while you sleep.

My husband and I bought this mattress because of the high reviews it had received and the affordable price. Our old mattress did not offer the support we needed and it was time for an upgrade. When we initially unwrapped it we were surprised at how firm it was but decided to give it a chance. It has now been over 30 days since its delivery and we have taken the advice to sleep on another bed for a few nights to compare and we still aren't sold. We really wanted to love this mattress, but we don't. We feel it is too firm and is lacking the "cushion" element that a pillow top mattress provides. Sadly I think we will be seeking a refund and will continue to shop around.

My old bed was pillowtop and was fluffy and cozy. But I literally had to roll out onto the floor first and struggle to stand up with lower back pain. I have honestly woken up early every Morning and raring to go for the day. No back pain at all! I even recommended to my sister-in-law who just received hers yesterday.

I have had back issues since I was a kid and after 3 abdominal surgeries and carrying 2 kids I was starting to have muscle spasms and was hardly mobile that's when I decided to take the leap and buy my purple mattress I have gotten better sleep and have been in less pain ever since I highly suggest it to anyone with pains or sleeping issues

I have been enjoying my Purple mattress for about a month now and I do like the quality. I just recently moved out of state and only had an air mattress to sleep on for months. I can't argue with the quality, but I think 4 weeks is way too much time for a customer to have to wait for their mattress. Not to mention that there is no note on the website (unless I missed something) of how long it takes to ship the items until you have already placed an order. I ordered the Purple mattress and platform on the same date and they don't even arrive together. The platform takes 2 months to arrive. I slept on the floor with my purple for a month before it arrived. The platform was missing one of the rubber feet as well so if I didnt have a carpeted floor I would have had to pause constructing it just to go to a hardware store to look for rubber feet. All and all I am left with a bittersweet experience with the Purple company. I enjoy the quality of the mattress, but I felt kind of duped when I ordered the mattress not knowing it would take 2 months to get everything I ordered.

I was given some advice many years ago by a wise and trusted woman. She told me to never skimp on good shoes or a good mattress because you spend most of your life on your feet or in bed. This nights sleep is WAY worth the cost! With love and gratitude for y'all at Purple

This thing flows too much air in the winter! I set the house thermostat down at night and this bed will never heat up! whichever side you're sleeping on is cold and the blanket side is warm. I wake up cold now so not only the high cost of the bed, my heating bill has gone up.

For disclosure, I've only had my Purple mattress for 3 weeks. I used to have back pain from sleeping on my old mattress but my Original Purple mattress made it disappear after a week! My mattress isn't as squishy as the worn out model was at the mattress showroom which is why I'm giving it 3.5 stars (for now). With time I hope to be able to give it 5 stars after breaking it in.

Thee WORST mattress I have ever Tried to sleep on!!! It was Cold Clamy Wet feeling with ZERO support underneath my mid section making my lower back go way out of alignment causing me to wake up all night in SERVER PAIN and kept on SINKING Deeper into the mattress like a bed of Wet Cold Clamy bed of Mud with ZERO support!!!
