We went through 3 different mattresses in 2 years, all of which killed my lower back. Then we saw the ad for the Purple Mattress and decided to give it a try. After using for a few weeks, I no longer wake up and have to get up because of back pain. Thank you Purple!

The mattress started out comfortable and progressively became stiffer to the degree that we are now using it with a foam mattress topper just to get some sleep which defeats the whole purpose. Hopefully it softens up over time but it's not looking likely!

This Purple company has the most funniest commercials I've ever seen! Usually hate commercials and skip or mute them, but this one was different , funny with a hint of sarcasm. Excellent product very easy to set up. And incredible CUSTOMER SERVICE, a huge rarity now a days. Thank You

I'm trying very hard to love this mattress. I've read so many great reviews, so I'm not giving up. I know it's all about adjusting. I'm a side sleeper & the pain on my pressure points in my hips and shoulders are still there. I hope to return with a five star review. Ps: no to the freaky and super heavy pillows. Just no, don't buy them.

I'm actually trying to sell my mattress on the local barter page. We slept on the purple for almost four months. We both started having problems. Specifically the edges of the mattress tend to wear out. My spine started to curve out to the edge of the mattress. I started to see my chiro for adjustments weekly. After a month of no improvement I moved back to our old mattress in the spare room and my back improved in less than a week. Purple wouldn't refund our money but did send another mattress that we don't want. So now I've got two of these mattresses that are useless to me. On top of that the pillow with air cushion is a disaster as well.

I bought a twin size for the guest bedroom upstairs, with full intention that I desired a good mattress for my aching joints all over. Especially my neck, shoulders and arms. I have periods of aching legs and lower back as well. I believe I bought a firm/ medium. I read the reviews that the firm was too firm. I am glad I did not go all firm. The mattress is excellent on my body and I and I am able to sleep more soundly through most nights. What a difference! I did purchase a hotel quality mattress topper for a bit more softness. I love my purple mattress!!!

I used to wake up several times throughout the night because I was thirsty or nature called. Now, I lay my head down at night and what feels like 5 minutes later to me I wake up and it's morning! I wake up feeling refreshed, invigorated, and ready to tackle the day!

Truly, I would love to give this bed more stars if I could! It was amazing for me and my wife from night 1! At the time of this review, we have not received the platform base to use in conjunction with it. We ordered the sheets, mattress, and base, but the base had a huge backorder. Even so, Purple has had excellent customer support during the whole experience and has made me feel like I matter, even as my base has been delayed. Due to the delay, my wife and I have had to unroll our mattress on the floor, but it has still felt great! It has helped with my back pain caused by my previous mattress and has even helped with some knee pain too! My wife says that even my snoring (from sleep apnea) has gotten better. We both feel better rested than we have in years! Which is a big help since we have a little one now that doesn't let us get much sleep! This is a fantastic bed and likely to be the only bed we will purchase from this point forward. I couldn't imagine going back to old style mattresses.

My wife and I were both experiencing back and neck pain with our 8 year old king pillow top mattress. We were pretty excited by hr prospect of a mattress soft in the right places and firmer overall. We both are astonished how we are getting significantly better nights sleep and waking up back and neck pain free.

I looked into purple for quite some time before making my purchase but I wish I had just gotten it earlier! This bed is everything I wanted it to be and more. I don't wake up in pain or with a cracking aching body and it sleeps soo cool on hot nights! I used to have an expensive memory foam mattress and it never had me sleeping this good ! I would highly recommend this bed to everyone and I do!
