I decided to order both the King Purple Mattress and Base for my new apartment. I realized that the shipping would actually have my bed come to the apartment before I moved in, I call the customer support line and was told it wouldn't actually ship until the 24th of October so that would give me plenty of time to get all moved in by the time it arrived. Unfortunately/Fortunately the bed and base shipped around the 18th I think and I had to re-route it to a FedEx shipping center for pickup. I picked the base up on the 26th, but when I saw the bed, I knew I couldn't tow them both in my midsize SUV. I'm 5'3 and the King size bed was about 6 ft. I had to go back a day later to pick up the bed with the help of some friends. Fast forward to the night I put everything together... After an exhausting couple of days of moving and sleeping on floors at my old apartment, I was welcomed into the Purple Mattress with enveloping comfort. It usually takes me about 15-25 minutes to fall asleep once I lie down, but I don't even know how long it took me, which means it was more like 5-10 minutes or maybe even less. I woke up the next morning feeling great! I plan to invest in the mattress protector, sheets, and the chair cushion because I know my body isn't being supported properly in most of the chairs I sit in. I'm seriously considering purchasing all purple mattresses for my household. The only reason my review isn't a 5 star is because of the difficult delivery. Maybe there should be a smoother way for single people to be able to get the bed and base around themselves without the help of others, as not everyone can grab a friend/family member to help them get stuff done.

We got the purple king mattress 2 and a half years ago. I needed a new mattress because I was having back problems and back pain, so we decided to do a lot of research and we ended up deciding on purple. It was great for the first year and a half. Now there are indentations where we sleep every night (and we're average sized adults) and if I lay on my back for a couple hours in the bed, then my back hurts. That is the reason I got this bed in the first place- to get rid of back pain. I believe that soon after we got our mattress they came out with a new one. I hope it's better and much longer lasting! If I knew this mattress would only last this long, I would have bought something else.

We bought this when we got married and every morning my husband says "we have to get rid of this mattress, it's TOOOOO comfortable!!!!" It should say something that after two nights of sleeping on our bed while we were out of town on our honeymoon, my sister and her husband bought one and after having just laid on it once my parents bought one too. My father made the perfect observation when he said "it's not really a soft mattress, and it's not really a hard one either....it's kinda...just there" I wake up every morning feeling like I've had the perfect amount of sleep...rarely if ever do I wake up after a full night of sleep feeling groggy I can just pop right up and move on with my day which is saying something for this night owl. We LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE (all the heart eye emojis) our purple. I wish they made a pillow!! Can't say enough good things about it. BUY THIS MATTRESSS

I have loved sleeping on the Purple! Both my husband and I have felt more rested in the morning when we wake up. I am a side sleeper and would experience hip pain from my old mattress. Gone are those days of feeling more tired after sleeping all night.

I instantly was able to sleep better because I didn't get woken up every time my husband rolled over! It took me a couple of nights to adjust to the different type of support and to figure out to use a thinner pillow so my spine was lined up properly (I'm a stomach sleeper) - now I can't wait to crawl into bed every night because my purple mattress is so comfortable. We sprung for the sheets too - super soft and stretchy and worth it.

My husband and I moved to a new country. We needed a new mattress before we went. We were recommended by my sister to get the amazing Purple mattress. However, when it arrived we were a bit sad by the uncomfortable feeling we got when we slept. If we sleep along the edge we feel we will roll off, so we sleep more towards the middle. It makes the bed feel more like a queen than a king. Also, it is a lot smaller (not as thick) than our bed frame, so the head board looks a little funny with it.

So I wanted to wait at least 30 days before giving this review.. but all I can say is WOW!! This mattress is the best mattress I have slept on ever! I have no back pain..and now I get the best sleep period!! Thank you Purple for creating such a great mattress. Remember to buy the frame and sheets! It's the only way to go!!

I love that my back is more straight, but I still tend to wake up with back aches. I've purchased a new base in case that was the issue, but seems it may not have been. I am going to give it some more time for my body to adjust and I should have a better review later. I move around a lot so I don't have just one preferred sleeping style.

The sheets are the softest sheets I've ever slept on and the mattress has brought serious relief to my hip and shoulder pain. I don't wake up in the middle of the night anymore and I don't have night sweats anymore, either. I recommend Purple to anybody seeking a peaceful night's sleep!

Researched into many mattresses and this one fit the bill. I usually see things before I buy they but wanted a non spring bed. The only problem with most foam beds is they seem to sag or retain heat. I sleep very warm. The grid system is firm yet designed to keep you more cool. Its really a great design and its a firm bed but at the same time soft. I can turn on any side of my body and not have any pain from the mattress. Thank you purple. It was well worth the investment1
