I have never been able to sleep well, even as a child. As an adult, it got worse. My ex beat me up, primarily my back, and I have arthritis and fibromyalgia. I would sleep with pillows under my legs on which ever side I was sleeping on and they would eventually ache horribly, wake up and turn to the other side put pillows under me. I could not sleep on my back as it hurt beyond belief. Eight months ago, one of our remaining two dogs had limited mobility issues which made sleeping downstairs in our room no longer an option so I started sleeping on the couch. I got maybe 4 hours of sleep a night. He passed away. Three days later, our remaining dog, a rescued now 13 year old Rottie we have had for 12 years, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg only. She had to have her leg amputated and I'm still on the upstairs couch now. I tried 3 layers of memory foam with first dog on the couch and floor and it didn't work. I ordered an elevated blow up twin with 5 star reviews and sent it back after the second night. Out of sheer desperation, I ordered the original twin in Purple. I will be honest, I always laughed at the commercials and thought "yea, right. like that's really going to work". I'm eating my words. The first night I never woke up from pain, just from sounds. It has been that way for a week now. My husband tried it today on his day off and was able to lay on his back as am I. I don't need extra pillows and I wake up WITHOUT BACK OR LEG PAIN! It is permanently on the floor in our living room as long as our Lily is still with us. Which is interesting in itself. because she gets around on 3 legs and climbed up on it this evening and is currently asleep on my Purple mattress as I type this! I am apparently going to have to fight to get my Purple back and need to check to see if you make dog beds!!!! When she joins our other fur babies at Rainbow Bridge, I will order a king for our room. I'm in no hurry. I have never slept so good in my life and my remaining fur baby dog is sleeping next to me. You have helped a very stressed out, grieving dog mom who can't thank you enough. This mattress truly does do what it says and cradles fibro trigger points and cradles you to a restful sleep which I HAVE NEVER had. God bless you richly.

I love this mattress. It's soft, but not too soft. It's very comfortable. For the first week or two my body was in pain but Purple tells you that, after that time period of your body getting readjusted, it's heaven. It's a real thing, I didn't think it was. I'm a heavy person and this mattress is good. My friend is another heavy person and they love this mattress as well. I highly recommend this to everyone for everyone. Get a mattress protector that wraps all around so tje warranty is protected..and some help carrying the mattress when it first arrives. it took two UPS guys to carry it so yeah, it's 110lbs.

After years of back aches on every mattress I tried (except for one night on a great mattress in a hotel, where I didn't think to get information on it), I have finally found sleep nirvana. The first two or three days, although much better than my other mattress, were not total bliss, as the mattress just felt, well, *different* enough that it was hard to really just drift off. Now, however, I crave coming home and laying down. Once used to it, the mattress almost disappears underneath you, as the support is so uniform it becomes invisible. I had no problem ordering the mattress, it arrived on time, it was heavy, but easy to install. The purple "tech" is so comfortable that I am considering ordering mattresses for both my kids, as well as a purple cushion for my office chair and my car.

My husband and I just turned the big 40 and with that came an inability to effectively sleep in the same bed. He likes soft, I like hard...we were desperate! We have tried sleep number, gel, firm and soft in the past and weren't able to both get a good night's rest. We decided to give purple a shot. We are both surprised at how well we are both sleeping. We have only had the bed for a month, so we don't know how it will hold up long term but so far, we are both well rested!

We've had the purple mattress a little over a month now, and both my husband and I are very happy with the mattress. We did have some moments of doubt early on, however. We got the mattress right as we were moving into our new second story bedroom, and, after about 4 or 5 days on the new mattress, I was having some majorly debilitating and unusual back pain. I'm still not sure whether the pain was from lots of heavy lifting during the move (it took us several days to assemble and move our furniture into our new addition) or if it was me adjusting to the mattress, or possibly some combination of both. Lots of pain meds for another 4 or 5 days and then 4 nights in a hotel on vacation later, my back was fine. I've had absolutely no issues since we got back from the trip and have had comfortable and deep nights of sleep ever since. Ultimately, I'd recommend the mattress to others, and tell them to really give it time if they don't love it at first.

I LOVE this mattress. I am writing a review simply because my husband is tired of hearing me say "I love this mattress, this was a good purchase." I was really hesitant to buy a mattress I had never tried before. I probably spent 4 weeks researching mattresses before finally deciding to buy purple. I am a side sleeper, 140lbs, 5ft tall, female with hips. Pros: - I don't wake up in pain anymore. I used to wake up stiff and in pain. My hips ached my back was tight and my shoulders were killing me. I'm 30, guys. I felt like I was 70. - I don't wake up my husband in the middle of the night. We had an inner spring mattress before. Every time one of us moved we would wake the other up. Neither of us were sleeping. There is very little motion transfer in this mattress. In fact, any motion transfer we are getting now is from the frame, not the mattress. - I'm not in pain. There is such a huge value in this that I feel like I need to say it twice. I was in so much pain before. It took me about 4 weeks of sleeping on purple to recover from the damage that my last mattress did. I am getting restorative, healing sleep on purple. - I don't feel like my back is bowing when I lay on my side. I have hips and when I would lay on my side, my spine would collapse down towards the mattress, which was probably where a lot of my pain was coming from. That doesn't happen when I sleep on purple. - No smell at all when we opened it Notes: - It's really heavy. I'm not sure that I could have gotten it upstairs by myself if it was a king or a queen. (we bought two twins pushed together to make a king) - It is firmer than I expected. But it's very comfortable. I was expecting it to feel squishy or something. But when you first lay on it it feels like a firm mattress. - You CAN feel the little squares of the top layer. This doesn't bother me. And most of the time I don't notice it. I would think of it like the egg carton style toppers. You can feel those too, but that doesn't make them uncomfortable. - It slides around a little bit on the frame (we have the purple frame too). This is easily fixed with an old yoga mat or anti-skid rug liner

Getting a bed in the mail was a new experience, but it was fun and easy to put together. The bed is very comfortable, but I want to talk about the pillows: they are incredible. I got the bigger one and the smaller one for my wife, but noticed that I wasn't comfortable and she had a pillow UNDER her pillow, so we switched. Best sleep I've had in 20 years.

I had purchased a new mattress bcause of my poor sleep on the old one. I tried it 3 mos & I was still n immense pain! Tried my grandaughter for 3 nites & felt so much better! I immediately purchased one & have slept GREAT since! I highly recommend this mattress!

I have had my purple for a month now and I would say it took a solid 3 weeks to get used to it. We are just not used to a truly supportive mattress and my body was not sure how to adapt to the feeling of suspension! That's really how i would describe it. only my heaviest parts really "sink in" and at that, it's only 2 inches, which allows the back and limbs to float in proper alignment! it's really mind-boggling technology. I LOVE that it is completely silent, no motion transfer. I don't care for the pillows, we may return them (just too flat) but the base is excellent because it allows for so much storage underneath! i have never purchased a mattress before, only used hand me downs from family, so this is a new experience for me and i am still getting used to it. i thought the price was very fair and i love the 6 month financing option with 0% interest. i would recommend this to anyone who does not want a soft pillowy mattress for sure.

As an arthritis sufferer this mattress has been the only one that allows me of full night's sleep without waking up sore and in pain. I would most definitely buy this again and highly recommend anyone with arthritis or diseases that affect your muscles and Joints to buy one of these mattresses.
