My husband and I are enjoying our Purple mattress. It took a few weeks for me to be comfortable on the mattress. I was used to a much softer bed, and because of my lighter frame (135lbs), the purple bed was not as soft for me as it is for my husband (185lbs). The mattress is very supportive. Now that we are used to the purple mattress, both of us are quite comfortable on it. We plan on keeping it.

We had first tried one of purple's competitors (helix sleep), and ended up returning that mattress after trying the purple mattress. As advertised, the purple mattress provides great support, comfort, motion isolation, sleeps cool and my wife - who is 8 months pregnant - sleeps much better now that we have the purple. Setup was a bit cumbersome by myself, but totally manageable and neither one of us experienced any notable "adjustment period" to the mattress. The only minor issue we've experienced is that, in my opinion, it's not truly a 100% "no pressure" mattress. I do find myself occasionally shifting my position to relive some of the more pronounced pressure points (hip bones, shoulder blades, etc). But once adjusted, the mattress is very comfortable. I do notice that the pressure points are less pronounced the bare mattress (without sheets). I'm hopefully that purple will fast-track their R&D on their sheet products, as I think that a custom sheet set is almost necessary to reap the full benefits of the mattress and its materials. All in all, though, it's the best mattress I've owned (or slept on) and we're very happy with our purchase.

No, No, No. You can not have my Purple Mattress back. No matter what--Unless you have improved on it.. Nope, can't have it. I have slept wonderful since day one and so has my husband. There were no "getting used to" a new mattress feel or smell. I am keeping it. Sorry--

The buying experience was super easy, the price was significantly cheaper than the other mattresses we were interested in (temperpedic), and it arrived in a reasonable timeframe. We went with purple based on adds and the personal reviews from friends. The mattress is comfortable on our stomachs, sides and backs. No complaints thus far and I'd highly recommend purple for anyone in the market for a mattress.

The main reason I purchased is because I knew the IP firm which handled their patents for their intensely researched and prideful work. And, for the lamer reason that I already had the type of bed frame they suggest for their mattress. And, because there were other people who purchased their mattress and gave me a great review. Still in my 30-day period, but not returning! The pillow takes some getting used to, but the coolness factor wins me every time.

Love the purple mattress. I have a fractured spine damaged neck and multiple nerve damage in my shoulder . I also have fractured ankle that I have been recovering from. I find extreme comfort in the mattress. I normally sleep on my stomach and am trying g to sleep on my side and back more . Having this mattress more. And I can not get my husband to stop talking about this mattress . He has a bad back. He loves this bed. We order the pillows can't wait to get them!!!

When the bed arrived it had a very strong adhesive smell to it that has taken quite a while to dissipate. Being sensitive to smells, that has made some of my nights uncomfortable. As I've aired the mattress out several times, its gotten better, but there are still hints of it, and it bothers my sinuses. the comfort is quite good and I'm waking up with a lot less aches and pains. Just waiting on the smell to go away for it to be a great nights sleep.

It's honestly the best mattress I have ever owned. I've had expensive pillow tops, pricey memory foam, and firm futons. I've slept on the ground, slept in lean-to's, and slept in hammocks. My new purple mattress gives me a better night's sleep than I have ever had. I am recommending this to all my friends and family.

This mattress has the perfect amount of support. It feels firm, but also light, airy, and feels comfortable in all sleeping positions. I was never able to be a back sleeper, but this mattress allows for it. Also it is VERY cool (temperature). Looking forward to see how it is in hot summer months. The only thing I would change, is the packaging. Although the Purple bag is nice and great quality, rolled up in the plastic, in a big box would be fine for me. Would much rather spend the extra cost of packaging, for an upgraded mattress.

My husband and I love our new Purple bed. We ditched our Sleep Number bed for the Purple and have enjoyed much better rest. The delivery package was very heavy and difficult to carry upstairs, but once we got it there the bed was easy to setup. We're waiting for our Purple made sheets to arrive and are currently using jersey knit. Hopefully the Purple sheets are cooler. The only sleep issue we have now is in finding the perfect pillow to go with the new bed. What worked with our old bed isn't working on the new bed. I'm a side sleeper with very wide shoulders which makes finding a pillow tricky. The Purple bed has alleviated all my sleeping aches and pains except for my shoulders. My shoulders are more comfortable in the Purple bed than before which is a great improvement. Also, my husband's snoring has almost completely gone away since we started sleeping on the Purple bed. If the sheets do well and we're able to find better pillows, I'll upgrade our review to 5 stars.
