My first night on it, I didn't budge. No tossing or turning. I didn't have to tuck in the sheets. I slept so soundly, I didn't have to make the bed for two weeks. The first night was a bit concerning though; both of my arms fell asleep while I was laying on my back. Probably due to the lack of movement. The second night, no issues at all. I adore this bed.

I loved the idea of the purple grid. I wanted to try something other than my memory foam mattress. I tossed and turned a lot with the memory foam. It has been a month and the tossing and turning seems to have lessened but not disappeared entirely like I had hoped. I will say I do not wake up sore in my joints anymore. I am hoping my sleep improves or I will return it since sleep was my primary goal. With me tossing and turning the weight transfer to my wife is also affecting her sleep, it did not with the memory foam mattress. I also think the pillows are to thick in the middle to be really comfortable the tech is great but the only place I wake up sore is my neck. I might go back to a thinner pillow. I really wish there was a side sleeper contoured pillow available. I am still optimistic but I am thinking my sleep problems have more to do with diet and lack of exercise Than the mattress. I will edit my review in another month based on how things go.

Love the bed so far! My husband had been having back problems and we did quite of bit of research online to figure out which bed would be the best solution. He had pretty much created a hole where he was sleeping in our old (very expensive) mattress. I was worried since I'm close to 100 pounds lighter than him that any bed that worked for him would be too firm for me, but it really seems to work great for both of us! My only disappointment is that I ordered a couple weeks too early to get the free seat cushion! :)

I will be sending the Purple Mattress back. It has not worked for me as I had hoped for. It has been like sleeping on concrete. Sleepless nights has been my experience with this mattress. I am so sorry. I was hoping this was going to be the right way to go.

We are very happy with our king size bed. It's super comfy and has the perfect amount of bounce back when you adjust your sleeping position. Sleeps a lot cooler that our old temperpedic. The only negative is that it took a month to get here! But it was worth it!

We bought three Purple mattresses for a second home we bought in South Carolina. My husband was sick when we were there last so we've actually used two of themSo far we are very pleased. They are a little less firm than our tempurpedic we sleep on at home. But that is a good thing as it is a little firm. I would definitely recommend.

My wife sleeps on her side and absolutely loves our purple mattress! I am a back sleeper and it did take me a few nights to get used to the slightly more firm feel of purple. After those first few nights I have also slept very well. This mattress is of good quality and we really like it overall.

Long ago, I wrote off being unable to sleep on my right side as non-negotiable. Doing so hurt my hip and irritated my iliotibial band. I tried doing it anyway on my new Purple mattress. The pain went from a nine on the pain scale to a three, then a two...after eventually noticing no pain on that side, I giggled to myself. Throughout the night:D It's still a *** leg that needs rehab, but the Purple mattress has shown to be supportive without feeling like I'm sleeping on a board. In a certain sense, I don't "feel" the mattress, which is a lovely thing. It adapts to me, rather than that I have to adapt to it. No Goldilocks complaints of, "this is too firm" or "this is too soft", etc. It really is just right, whether sleeping on my back or on my side. It also seems made for those who like to sleep on top of, not sunken into, their mattress. I admit I was bummed out by seeing the introduction of Purple's new mattresses one week after placing my order. That said, I love that the price point of the original mattress makes Purple's technology and convenience accessible. It's doing superbly by me, anyway. Thanks, Purple!

Overall Quality feels good. Comfortable. I would say it is one of the more comfortable mattresses I've slept on. In this price range it was the most comfortable mattress I've had. Would be nice if it was a tad cooler but is still far cooler than a foam bed.

I have to say that I was skeptical about buying a mattress online that I couldn't test out first. We've been sleeping on the Purple mattress for several weeks now and I'm comfortable saying that this is the BEST MATTRESS I've ever slept on! We definitely did our research of the online mattress companies (i.e. Sealy, Nectar, etc.). We read all independent reviews and watched countless review videos. All signs pointed to Purple. The reviews were not wrong! I used to wake up with shoulder and hip pain on our old mattress, but that is not happening with the Purple mattress. I was also skeptical about how the reviews said this memory foam mattress actually "sleeps cool." We've all heard how memory foam mattresses trap heat. Definitely not the case with Purple! You can actually feel the cooling effect through the mattress protector and sheets. It's amazing! I haven't woken up hot once. It's definitely not "cold," but it definitely doesn't trap the heat either. One of the other great features I was skeptical about was how the mattress was advertised to be the perfect combination of firm and soft. I didn't know what that even meant until I actually slept on the mattress. The second you lay down, you can feel what this means. Finally, the motion transfer is little to none. In other words, when you or your partner move around you can't really feel anything on the other side of the bed. This is truly amazing technology and I would recommend this mattress to anyone. It's worth every single penny!
