Best decision of my life! Since i've got this bed, i've enjoyed countless hours just in my bed either reading, watching tv, or just taking numerous naps. This bed is good to my body. It's not too soft, not too firm, but just perfect. Before i've had trouble sleeping, but since i got the Purple bed, sleep has gradually gotten better. The Purple bed, along with the Purple pillow, is a good combination.

I was so stoked to get this because of the reviews. I will say it is softer than most mattresses, but I absolutely can feel the squares underneath me. It makes it awkward when I lay in any position. However, the sheets and mattress protector are awesome.

I have lower back issues and have been sleeping on a very soft and worn-out mattress for years, which seems to be making my back much worse in the last few months. I read that the purple mattress was good for alignment stuff, and I ordered the original purple - hoping it wouldn't be way too firm - since there no way I'm paying more than $1k more for a newer softer one. The mattress is firm. Definitely firm. I don't love laying down on it trying to go to sleep (I'm a side sleeper and it weirdly feels like I'm levitating on top of the bed rather than sinking into it, and it kind of hurts my shoulder), but I wake up with zero back pain. It really is great for backs. I will deal with a lack of comfiness at night to wake up comfy.

The best thing about this mattress is that it is cool as advertised; memory foam sleeps way too hot for me. There are two problems I have with this mattress - one is that it is not very thick so the profile is too low to the ground for me considering it must be on a platform bed. The bigger problem for me, is that even through mattress pad, you can feel the indentations of the mattress. In my opinion they're pretty significant.

Ok guys, me and my husband SUFFER from back pain. Its so terrible that it has altered our life! We bought this bed with really high hopes and we. Were. Not. Disappointed. At all!! Its unlike anything we have ever slept on! Forget Tempurpedic, forget an adjustable bed, forget all in between...This is definitely THE LAST bed you will ever buy. Or atleast that's the case for me and my husband. We have had it for 5 days now and my back feels 100% better. Its made such a difference that I have been going about my work days and haven't even noticed that ive been without pain until just now. Because when you're not in pain, you don't think about it., my husband isn't waking up with headaches or back pain anymore.. I couldn't believe how much your back is effected just by the mattress you choose to sleep on. GET THIS BED. End of story.

I am young but have horrible posture from working at a desk all day. Until I found this mattress, I was going for deep tissue massages every couple of weeks because I was in such severely chronic pain. This was not only expensive but counterintuitive because as soon as I would go to sleep on my horrible mattress that same night, all the progress they had made was lost. I would wake up in agony and sometimes get up in the middle of the night and sleep on the floor. Since I've gotten the purple mattress I yearn for it when I sleep away from home! It is not as plush as I had hoped it would be but I know for one, that plush=pain (because it is too soft to support your spine)! So I'm thankful to the technology that went into this mattress and I will soon buy a king because I love it so much. I can't believe I actually wake up without ANY PAIN! and when I get home from work at night I look forward to laying on the bed because everything stops hurting as soon as I lay down. You guys need to make a pillow!!!

The Purple came much quicker than the website said it would. Customer service was extremely helpful when I didn't think it would arrive in time. The mattress came in easy to carry packaging and set up was a breeze. My son has really enjoyed the bed. The free sheets are soft and stretchy. Am considering returning my mattress to get a Purple!

My decision to purchase the Purple Mattress followed a lot of research. I am writing this review after only one night on my Purple mattress... I AM IN LOVE!!! A little background on me. I am a single (mention that cause I sleep alone not for dating purposes lol) 30 y/o male, 5'8", 190 lbs (more muscle than fat) stomach sleeper. I am an Army Vet and an RN in an ER (more on that later). First, to address the picture of the Purple blade. I don't know if I was just excited and wasn't taking my time, but I got the under portion (not pictured) of the safety blade under the plastic and as I was straddling the mattress I was cutting down and between my legs, as I was going along the plastic piece broke and the blade went right into my thumb!!! :( Now, I am not blaming Purple for this. I should have been cutting away from my body and did it a little safer, but I still wanted to put that in the review so future buyers can learn from my silly mistake....and so you don't get blood on your pretty new white mattress (luckily I didn't). Anyways, the Army, working in healthcare, being a stomach sleeper, and when I was overweight (260 lbs) has put a number on my lower back. I started working out more and lost over 70 lbs and STILL had back pains. So I started doing research for a new mattress. I previously slept on a cheap no-name inner-spring mattress that was several years old. I found that what I needed was a firmer mattress that maintained my spinal alignment - enter Purple. Love at first sight (lay down). I haven't had a full night of straight sleep in years!!! I constantly have to try to lay on my back with a pillow under my thighs to take the pressure off my lower back (a position that is IMPOSSIBLE for me to sleep in) or lay on my side with a pillow between my legs; eventually going back to my stomach and waking in pain. Last night was probably the best night of sleep I have ever had!!! I will say that I am still a little achy and it is my thought that I will still need some time for my body to adjust to the mattress as my spine has been out of wack for years. Purple even stated this in its instruction paper that some people need up to 30 days to fully adjust, so I am optimistic that the pain will subside completely in that timeframe. Purple is exactly as advertised and has exceeded my expectations. The mattress cradles my body perfectly in the correct areas without a feeling of sinking, stays cool (I also sleep hot), and just feels like my spine is in perfect alignment which creates it's famous "floating" sensation. I just cannot state enough how happy I am with this mattress and I would highly recommend it for stomach sleepers. I saw Purple's other options with a taller purple grid and all the other bells and whistles, but I stayed with OG mattress as it is my interpretation that this was the firmest options they offered. Very satisfied with my selection. I hope this review was helpful. Definitely recommend doing your own research, read reviews, watch videos via YouTube with multiple people, and see what is the best option for you (and your spouse if applicable), but I definitely recommend Purple for my fellow stomach sleepers and it even feels great in the other positions. If you're considering it, go for it! You spend 1/3 of your entire life sleeping. Treat yourself!!! Oh and my dog loves it too lol

In the beginning I wasn't impressed, The bed is hard and it was a different feel then I was use to. A month after I love the bed, I get some of the sleep I've ever had now and I never wake up with aches or kinks in my body. Thanks Purple, Well worth it.
