Our previous Tempur-pedic bed was eight years old. It had two deep permanent troughs and we decided to try the Original Purple. We ordered their King size original mattress and was delivered via UPS 5 days later. We unwrapped it the next day we slept on it that night (no off-gas whatsoever) and it honestly has been the most wonderful nights sleep since. Then we purchased a new camper travel trailer. Which had a very good quality queen size inner-spring mattress. After two week-long camping vacations, our backs were screaming, tight, very uncomfortable. Sooo we knew we had to buy a second Original Purple mattress for our new travel trailer. We take our next adventure vaca two days before Christmas and we can't wait to end our evening and begin a beautiful night "sleeps" in the Purple bed.

Purple as a company was great to work with. We absolutely LOVED our purple as soon as we got it about 3-4 years ago. I've had back problems for my entire life, I'm a nurse with a degree in athletic training as well as certifications in corrective exercise. It was amazing to wake up without back pain, however it was short lived. With zero change in lifestyle and habits; both my husband and I have been waking up with soreness/pain in our backs for at least 6 months.

My husband and I have both loved this mattress from day one! I'm not as picky as he is about mattresses and I will say the first time he layed on the mattress he felt several sharp pains in his back from his spine aligning. He hasn't had any issues since then though, except that he can't stand to get out of bed in the mornings now, lol.

I sleep very comfortable. My husband and I love it! We got the ck my kids always sleep with us though and dig their backs into me so I still have back pains.. I'm not sure if I got the base if that would help or not. My kid must not sleep comfortable enough to turn side ways to kick me. When I do sleep alone though I sleep great and without trouble. I'm a side, back, and stomach sleeper.

I ordered the king size, original purple mattress this past summer. I only had it about 3 weeks before I started to notice my side of the bed started to sag and create a "divit" where I sleep. This was the main reason I got rid of my old bed, so I was a little annoyed that it didn't even make it the first month. I'm a relatively big guy (5'9'' but 230 lbs) but the website said this shouldn't be a problem. I was and am hesitant to call because this bed is so comfortable but I also spent a great deal of money on it ( I also bought the bed frame which is also great, and its height gives plenty of room for storing tubs of clothes) and I can only sleep on about 2 feet of the bed without the feeling that I am falling or leaning.

We purchased the purple king size mattress, mattress protector, sheets and received a purple pillow for free. I cannot Rave enough about the quality of the purple mattress. From night 1 my back pain has been better and I sleep through the night. My husband tends to move a lot during his sleep and he would constantly wake me but with the purple mattress I don't feel him moving at night. The sheets are amazing and my husband refuses to sleep on anything other than purple sheets. All of our friends are jealous that we have such an amazing bed and a few of our friends are going to be purchasing purple mattresses after laying on ours for a few moments. I would highly recommend a purple mattress to anyone. There's nothing more important than a good night's rest and that's what the purple mattress provides.

I loved the advertisements for Purple, and I hated my bed so I took a chance and bought a bed for my brother and myself. Seriously best investment ever. The bed just embraces you in the best possible way. I've bought the sheets and pillow after that. Highly Highly recommend.

This bed, is a purple miracle. I used to have such severe pain waking up in my hips & back that I would have to do an hours worth of stretching while in the bed, before I could get out of it. When I did get up, I couldn't stand straight up for a half hour, forget bending or kneeling. I had trouble going to sleep, like 4 hours of restlessness a night, even with sleep meds, I didn't even dream for years it was such bad sleep. Buying a new spring form mattress didn't help either, had a new one for a year before I found Purple's ad, and relentlessly nagged my husband to give it a try. After I bought this bed, about a week after, my knees & upper back had no pain, after two weeks, I could get out of bed straight away every morning but still had hip pain, after 3 weeks I can fly out of bed like a Ninja when I'm running late & not suffer one consequence. My husband works 24-37 hour shifts and is constantly doing heavy lifting & bending, his back pain has ceased since we have this mattress, he now swears by the very thing he wasn't so sure about us getting. We have since ordered the platform base for our bed, and even a base as a gift, plus 2 pillows. I will say I did have a slight issue with the bed sinking in 2 spots, but over a chat with the service department and providing pictures for them, they replaced our mattress in a flash and even let us donate the old one to Habitat for Humanity. No hassle, no nitpicking, just great friendly service. The sheets are awesomely comfortable too. I don't ever want another kind of mattress, eventually I want to get my kids all one of their own too. It's THAT good. The only thing that is remotely disappointing is the wait for it to arrive, I wish shipping was faster, but ..all good things come to those who wait.

Even though Purple has a 100 night guarantee, I didn't need more than 5 seconds on my mattress to know I made an excellent decision!!!! Ever since I've been sleeping on Purple my hips have stopped hurting, I don't wake up as often and I am oh so comfortable all night long. Nothing negative to say at all!!!! So glad I could find a mattress that feels as good as intellibed for a fraction of the price. I'm a lifelong customer.
