My girlfriend and I purchased this mattress hoping it would help with the back pains I would have regularly, after a couple weeks of having the Purple Mattress I no longer wake up with pain in my back. Also strangely enough I dream every night now which didn't happen before we had this mattress. We love It, and definitely would recommend it to anybody looking for an amazing night of sleep.

I've been sleeping on the purple mattress for about six months now and they have been the best six months of sleep I have ever had. My old mattress was the tuft and needle mattress and it was so uncomfortable and hard and would get so hot during the night. The purple mattress did take some time getting used to because of the top silicone layer but that only took a few days to get used. With the purple mattress I never wake up sweating or with a sore neck. It's the best mattress ever don't hesitate and buy one.

We've had a purple mattress for the better of 5 years now and just purchased another one! By far, this is the best mattress we've ever had! The sheets are fabulous too! I got my purple mattress because I was looking for a new mattress after having the same one for a decade. I had slept on a purple many times at my friend's house and it was the best sleep I ever had so I had to get one for myself. Little did I know that when I finally splurged on it and it arrived (perfect condition, fast shipping, no issues with payment), I slept on it for ONE night and woke up with body aches!! I had no choice but to keep sleeping on it because of all the hassle of getting it but every night it got BETTER. All it needed was a little breaking in (like a quality shoe). Amazed, I also started to realize that I NEVER slept hot on it. The gaps in the gel flex layer keep you cool ALL NIGHT!! I'm not a hot sleeper though and as the months got colder I realized that although the purple mattress is not cold to the touch, it retains NO body heat at all, so every night I was FREEZING no matter how many blankets I added. I did buy a mattress pad and that fixed the issue for the cold season, but if you are a cold sleeper then maybe consider that bit. But that is a small thing to compare to all the other WONDERFUL things about the purple mattress!! With school rolling around the corner after getting it in the summer, I noticed that the mattress was so easy to roll around in (firm and doesn't leave impression) that it made MUCH easier to get out of bed!! Also, I don't really sleep with a pillow as a stomach sleeper and the edge of this mattress it PERFECT to lay your face over when I don't want a face full of mattress (no rimmed edges!)! Wonderfully, my back pain went away too and the firmness of this mattress made it comfortable to lounge, work, and watch tv all day in. It is also true that the purple mattress absorbs a lot of movement so you won't get woken up by your partner (or in my case my cat) moving around in the bed. Overall, this is the best mattress I've ever slept on, it's been a year and I have no regrets! My cats love it, I love you and hopefully you will love it too!! (But I do recommend sleeping on it as a trial if you can like if your friend has one) Side note: when I got COVID-19 and had to quarantine in my room 24/7, the purple mattress was so so worth the cost, I would've died (sarcastically) if I had to quarantine on my old bed. So get it!!

Most nights are fantastic but every now and then its uncomfortable to fall asleep. Also hard to sit up in and if you have a bed frame that has horizontal support bars you can feel them slightly through the mattress. Overall I'd say worth the expensive expense for the one reason that it by far trumps my old spring mattress.

Exactly what the title says, the first few days were uncomfortable. Then one day I got in and melted. It was so nice and it keep me warm but not over warm. Its heavy though, very, very heavy but so nice. I love my bed, worth saving up for months for it completely..

The marketing was great, the concept of the tech seemed like it would work, the price was fine - just my back didn't. Bottom line, it wasn't firm enough, the top layer is very plush and nice at first lay, but at 3am I'd wake up almost stuck in pain. I'm 6' and 160lbs, an I felt like I didn't sink into the support layer perhaps. I also anecdotally blame a slight dip toward the middle between my partner and I, which would lean my back and hips toward her (though, while one night without her didn't cause me to wake up in the night with pain, it was there waiting with my alarm). I gave it a lot of nearly scientific diagnostics to eliminate variables, including going to hotels twice during that time - in which a more firm spring mattress immediately gave me no trouble at all - and I'll tell you, after weeks of terrible nights and cranky mornings, the hotel was great. So, it wasn't the savior bed I was expecting at all, too soft - but it's other qualities like sleeping cool, not cracking raw eggs true. My girlfriend didn't mind it or love it, by the way. It makes me wonder, is a mattresses ability to not crack eggs even a good measure of how well it supports a body for 8 hours?

We had put off buying a new mattress for a long time. Ours was a 20 year old Serta that had seen better days. Finally bit the bullet but was all over the place after reading reviews on every mattress out there. Husband is a small guy, 5'7" @ 165# and a solid back sleeper. I'm 5'10" and about 160# and a die hard side sleeper with a CPap machine. We both love this mattress. Honestly the first couple of weeks are a bit of an adjustment, because your body has to get used to being aligned properly, so you may be stiff and sore, but hang in there, it is so worth it. Based on our weights, the mattress sleeps firm, but adjusts quickly to night turns. Delivery during the crush of the pandemic was slow, but understandable. It was well worth the wait. Set up was very easy. Much easier than disassembling and moving the old bed to another room. opened up the mattress at 3 in the afternoon and sleeping on it by 11 PM. So very happy with the purchase and thinking about buying a couple of pillows next.

I trashed a Dream Sleep mattress due to settling issues like, feeling as though I had to roll up hill if I turned on my right side. Albeit my new Purple Mattress is less than a couple of weeks old, I do detect a minimal amount of settling. Obviously it's too soon to say whether it becomes an issue but, we'll see. In general it is extremely comfortable.

I've suffered from chronic back pain for the past 8 years, (I'm currently 28). This bed has allowed me to wake up feeling normal again. My back feels completely relaxed when lying down. I love this bed and can't wait to get home to get some rest in it.
