High Quality Mattress at a fair price. I've read that some people get used to it immediatley, but it took my wife and I a few weeks to adjust to the feel of a new mattress format. We spent about as much on the purple as we did on the innerspring we were sleeping on, which was purchased 10 years ago! My advice, be patient and let your body get used sleeping on this mattress, it is worth the wait!

I sleep on my side, which caused shoulder soreness issues on previous firm beds; but with the Purple bed my shoulders do not get sore anymore. My legs and hips used to sink into other mattresses, which pulled by back out of alignment, causing back issues. But now my entire body is supported properly, and my back stays in alignment. And this mattress stays cool, as opposed to previous foam mattresses, which radiated my body heat. I love my Purple bed! David

Had a Sleep Number bed and loved it but decided to see what else was out there. This was super easier to set up. There wasn't an odor and slept in it that night. I woke up thinking it may take time to get used to but I was wrong. By night two I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. No more pressure point pain. Reasonable price for the quality that's provided. Highly recommend!

My husband and I love our new Purple bed. We ditched our Sleep Number bed for the Purple and have enjoyed much better rest. The delivery package was very heavy and difficult to carry upstairs, but once we got it there the bed was easy to setup. We're waiting for our Purple made sheets to arrive and are currently using jersey knit. Hopefully the Purple sheets are cooler. The only sleep issue we have now is in finding the perfect pillow to go with the new bed. What worked with our old bed isn't working on the new bed. I'm a side sleeper with very wide shoulders which makes finding a pillow tricky. The Purple bed has alleviated all my sleeping aches and pains except for my shoulders. My shoulders are more comfortable in the Purple bed than before which is a great improvement. Also, my husband's snoring has almost completely gone away since we started sleeping on the Purple bed. If the sheets do well and we're able to find better pillows, I'll upgrade our review to 5 stars.

Ive been sleeping on the Purple since a couple of months now and it has been fantastic! My back problems vanished! The only thing I would wish for is that the mattress would be a little higher but I would buy it again. In fact I will purchase another for my guest bedroom!

I love my Purple mattress. Now, if you want a mattress you can sink into, this is not it. (Sinking into a mattress is horrible for your back anyway). My Purple mattress is my Best Bedtime Buddy. I am sleeping very well and the longer I sleep on it the more and more comfortable I am. It will take about 2 weeks to get comfortable but when you do-Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!

We are enjoying our Purple mattress and sleeping better than we have in a LONG time. It's a bit firmer than I had anticipated, and sleeping on my left side causes pain in my left hip, which I had hoped would be alleviated with the support offered by Purple. We still like the mattress and are happy with our purchase.

I'm a former Marine, MARATHON RINNER AND BASKETBALL PLAYER. I'VE BROKEN MY BACK TWICE. AFTER SLEEPING ON THIS BED FOR. FOUR NIGHTS I HAVE ZERO BACK PANE AND MY WIFE WHO IS GOING THROUGH MENOPAUSE FEELS NO HEAT AND IS AVTUALLY COLD AT NIGHT. BEST BED EVER

We purchased a queen sized purple to replace our very old mattress. We also purchased the purple pillows. We are satisfied by both. When one of us is restless, we do not wake the other because the mattress absorbs motion and is quiet. We purchased one for our son as well-twin sized, and he seems to sleep sounder. We got the wider pillow for him, and really like the feel of it-very good support.

Let me start this review off by saying that despite everything I am about to say I would buy this mattress again. I chose to get this bed because my innerspring mattress was creating a lot of discomfort and pain throughout the night (and day) from all of the pressure points. This mattress was less than 2 yrs old. When I received this mattress I weighed about 275 lbs (recently down from over 300 lbs). I was surprised by the lack of the support from the upper layers. I immediately sank down and could feel the bottom (firmest) layer very pronounced. Despite the lack of comfort from the bed it did grant me something I dearly needed which was a day without pain. The lack of pain the day after the first night sleep was amazing. That being said I am a side sleeper and the only time and I not uncomfortable in the bed is on my back which would be fine if I could sleep in that position. Consequently I typically have trouble finding a position in which to sleep that affords comfort. Out of habit I try to sleep on my side with my arm under my head with the pillow in between. The mattress will not permit this (for me). When I try it positions my spine out of alignment and I experience fairly intense pain. It could no doubt be argued that one should not sleep in such a position to which I reply "I sleep how I sleep. I am not conscience when I change positions in the middle of the night so I have little control over it." I am not saying don't buy the bed if you sleep like this as well. I am saying go in fully informed. My innerspring mattress accommodated this way of sleeping. The purple mattress does not (at least for me). It is probable that I will not experience many of these issues when I am down to 240 lbs or less. By the same token I cannot even imagine the discomfort if I were still over 300. I just think if you are a heavier person you should take this into consideration. That being said, if you are not someone who has a problem sending the mattress back if it does not work out of you, then you really have nothing to loose by trying it out (with the likely exception of a fair shipping and handling fee).
