I love my Purple Mattress, whether I am sleeping on my side or my back I always feel my weight being supported equally. In the past side sleeping would leave me with a sore shoulder and/or neck but with Purple, I have gone months with wonderful sleep. I am waiting to be able to afford the Purple Sheets so I can maximize the comfort from my new mattress. I love showing off Purple technology to everyone.

It's a bit firmer than I expected. It took a couple of weeks to get used to. I've been thinking about trying out the 3 or 4 inch. I don't really like sleeping on my side on it usually I'll end up on my stomach. I got the soft stretch sheets though and those are downright awesome.

I was super shocked this bed worked! I'm really glad I got it, it arrived this morning and I decided to take a little nap on my day off and I woke up to use the restroom and realized I don't have that achy knot in my back as intense! Just from that nap it helped so much I can't wait for the nights rest, due to me having back pain from my tumor on my spine I'm really stoked it was all true about this bed and I can't wait till my dog gets his in next week!!

I have been dealing with terrible back pain for months. I finally said NO MORE!!! I decided to invest in a better mattress. No lie, I noticed an improvement in my sleep the very first night I slept on my new mattress. I actually have been feeling more rested in the morning and no more back pain when I get out of bed. Anyone considering buying a purple mattress, don't think about it, just go ahead and make the purchase you will not regret it!!!

We have only had our mattress for a couple of weeks and I can already tell a huge difference in my sleep. I can lay in bed and not hurt. I am overweight and I have issues with pain in my hips and back. In my old bed I could barley get up in the morning because of the pain in my hips and back. On the very first night of having our Purple mattress I had no pain issues. My husband who has bad back and shoulder pain also hasn't had any pain issues since we have had this mattress. We were sick for the first week we had our new bed and had to stay in bed pretty much all week. We had no issues with pain like we we would have had if we still had our old bed. We found out about the purple bed from friends who have them and I'm extremely happy we made the switch. I highly recommend the mattress , frame, sheets and mattress cover I am totally in love with these products and have recommended them to all of my family and friends.

My wife and I had to replace our 2 year-old, already worn out mattress recently. We decided to go out on a limb and try ordering a mattress online, despite having never laid on a Purple Mattress. The mattress arrived VERY quickly, which was great. It was dropped off at our front door and was easily set up. We tried the mattress for ~2 months, but unfortunately it was too firm for our preference. The return process was as easy as the purchase. We emailed the company any heard back within 24 hours, and after only a few brief emails back and forth, Purple had set up a tertiary company to pick up the mattress from our doorstep. I'm sorry we had to return the mattress, but it went as smoothly as I could have every hoped. Purple was a stand-up company through the whole process and made things happen easily and quickly. Definitely recommend them for a family who is looking for a more firm mattress!

This is the first year I'm not looking forward to traveling during the holidays, because I'll have to sleep on something other than my Purple. I wake up ache-free, but more importantly, my wife wakes up ache-free. Looking forward to getting the pillows next.

We ordered the Purple split king mattress in anticipation of also purchasing the new power base. We wanted to love it, but after even just one night on it, it was clear that the mattress was too firm for us. Both my wife and I woke up sore. We tried it for several nights, but it just wasn't working. The top layer feels really nice at first, but it seems like the underlying foam layers aren't cushy enough. I'm giving 3 stars because a firm bed might be great for some, just not for us. Also, the whole purchasing and returning process was really smooth. The customer service was great. The bed seems really high quality, but just not a good fit for us.

My wife and I decided to try the Purple mattress when they still had just one version. About a week after we bought ours they launched a new offering of 3 mattress types. A week later they cut this to 2, so I am not sure they are really convinced what they want! As with many couples we need a middle ground; I would be happy sleeping in a rock, my wife needs pressure point relief. So the purple mattress concepts attempts better than most to address both pressure point relief and support. My wife is extremely happy with the mattress; I remain shocked still every night, now nearly 3 weeks on, as to how soft it feels at first. I sleep primarily on my back, and I wake up feeling fine, so I presume I am getting the support needed in my back. But I can say honestly that I still find the feeling of the mattress crazy soft. But I love traveling to China just to sleep on their mattresses, which are like wooden boards, so maybe I am not the best one to ask for an opinion. Two other comments, our king sized mattress does not have handles, and that is a huge negative; admittedly it is not something you move often, but if you need to do it once, without handles, it is really hard (remember as Purple likes to point out - it weighs 145 pounds!); so add some common sense to all the engineering know-how guys! Secondly, when you unroll it, it is upside down...it weighs 145 pounds, it is roughly;y 7 feet by 7 feet, and has NO HANDLES; not so easy to flip it. Another common-sense shortcoming. In summary, I think the jury is still out. I am very concerned about long term (3 year plus) durability resilience. It is a comfortable sleep, but I am hardly blown away by it. Time will be the real test. I can tell you that both my wife and dog are far more enthusiastic though than I, so that's a good thing. Last advice, follow your competitors and launch a doggy bed too.

The bed was delivered on time, we were hoping it would be the bed for us, but for some reason it was stiff and gave us shoulder pain. Since we are side sleepers i guess the bed was not conforming on our body when we go to our side. But over all the bed looks durable and well built, and customer service was good.
