Admittedly I was skeptical prior to buying this seemingly weird mattress in a purple log from a whacky company like Purple. But after just one night, and 3 weeks more worth of nights afterward, I'm convinced I made a very smart purchase decision. The ordering process and financing was done on my iPhone during a 30-minute lunch break at work and couldn't have been simpler! Fast, convenient shipping right to my front door and within an hour, we had the platform and mattress all ready for sleeping. Between my wife and I, we're putting 750 lbs. on this thing 8-9 hours every night and it stands up to us like a champ! I love this mattress! Back pain be gone!

Honest confession: we did not buy from Purple first and that was a mistake. My wife had trouble with sweating with the other mattress (memory foam) and tradition spring mattresses don't give me the support I need for my back. Then, Purple shows up. I'm a back sleeper and she's a stomach sleeper. Both of us now sleep sound through the night. It is the coolest mattress I've ever slept on. Also, it supports you know matter how you sleep. We have mentioned it to friends and would mention it to anyone. We're glad we chose Purple in the end.

For baseline, I enjoy a softer bed and have owned a traditional dual sided pillow top mattress and then a top of the line sleep number mattress. Once the sleep number bed began to have issues, new air bladder, air pump that leaked, I was on the hunt for a new mattress. After a lot of research online I felt a new purple bed was the right choice for me and my wife. I opted for the Queen/ Purple.3 which seems to be one of Purple's most popular models. Once received and slept on it for a month, we both felt while it is nice, it wasn't great. We didn't find the softness was there as we both expected from all the glowing reviews. Yet I wasn't ready to admit Purple wasn't the right choice. So this is where I think Purple really excels, they want you to try their bed. If you don't like it, return it or donate it for a refund or select another bed. The return process was very easy and support was great. I chose to order the Purple 4 and also decided to move to a King size. When it arrived and we first laid down, we knew we found what we were missing. It is AMAZING and as others have stated, you just want to stay in bed it is so comfortable. We have had the bed for about 8 months now and without fail, every couple of days one of us will say to the other how amazingly comfortable the bed is. I cannot recommend enough for you to give them a chance and see if you have a similar experience. Ok, I do have ONE negative comment about the bed, it is not something you can easily move, even with 2 people. It would be REALLY nice if Purple could figure out a way to put handles on the sides of the mattress. It is not often we plan to move the thing, but if the need ever arises, handles sure would help! Even with the one negative, if there is a more comfortable, cool, supportive mattress out there, I have never come across it. Nor do I care to look as this really is an amazing mattress. I purchased the purple mattress about a month ago. I did so much research on all the mattress companies online since we have a tight squeeze up the stairs to or bedroom and we needed something that came rolled or in a box. When the purple finally shipped I was like a kid right before Christmas. I couldn't wait. I was not home when my boyfriend set up the mattress but all I know it was heavy! He said the set up was so easy and pain free. I can say a month later, I am sleeping better than I ever did. I did not have back pain prior to buying this mattress and was just looking for something comfortable to get a better nights rest. At this point I am battling alittle bit of mid back pain, I did not change anything I did in my lifestyle except the mattress so I do feel like the pain is coming from the purple. I still have this bed 4 stars because it is comfortable. It is not too soft or too stiff, when you first sit or lay in the bed you feel as if you are sinking in, but then once you are in for a few seconds it starts to firm up making it a great support system for your body. You can literally feel the support. For motion transfer it's pretty good. I am able to get in and out of bed without waking up my son or boyfriend because we all sleep together. For the sleeping cool I would honestly give the bed 0 stars because I don't feel any cooler, I honestly want to say it holds in heat more. There is a few flaws about this mattress but overall. I am waking up feeling better and have more energy. I will keep this mattress but not sure if I would buy again.

Ive had the bed for a week now and i can say that i like it allot but i weigh about 125 and i feel like i have to gain about 20 pounds so that i will actually sink and conform to the bed ive experienced lower back pain waking up for a couple days now and i think that has to do with how light i am i think once my weight is up the bed will work better

My husband and I are opposite bed lovers (firm and plush) and I have heard such good things about purple! I have been planning on purchasing one however we are 6'0 and 6'2 and want a cal king which you don't offer so we are stuck deciding what to do! Hopefully we can decide!

Having had severe spine, arm, and skull fractures, I needed a mattress to alleviate some of the pain from such fractures. I have had this mattress for 25 nights. I do feel refreshed, but not entirely. I am hoping I just have to break the mattress in. Back does feel better, but only on certain nights. Could just be the way I sleep or maybe my pre-existing conditions, but I was expecting a bit more out of this mattress.

The ordering and delivery process was easy and as expected. I am still getting used to the mattress. They claim it may take several weeks to adjust to sleeping on their mattress. I have had issues staying asleep on this mattress, my wife seems to be sleeping without problems.

We have had our queen-size purple mattress for about a month. My wife and I, both, think it is a great mattress. But here is a little "helpful hint". When the purple "log" comes to your house, don't try to pick it up by yourself. It's too heavy for one person.

Are you kidding me? This is THE BEST MATTRESS EVER !! I told my husband who can buy a mattress online without checking it out and laying on. Well, after spending good money on other name brands in our local stores and had to return them all after testing and laying on them and a couple I even laid on for an hour. They were horrible and put me in pain that I didn't have before. (now I know where all my pressure points are) What happened to the quality of the old name brands? Thus I thought ok what do I have to lose with money back guarantee. I did it, I ordered online and OMG. Best night sleep in two years and the pain the others gave me I had to return (for store credit) was gone on night one. Purple saved me. And for those like me saying how ridiculous it was to buy that sight unseen among other words. I take it all back. Even my ailing dogs sleep better and we all do not get hot! 3 dogs and two peeps. I normally never write reviews and just had to do a review on this. Please don't ever get rid of this original mattress. 10 year warranty but even if it last a good 6 I will be purchasing again for sure. In fact I am going to order the new dog beds! The key for those that say they are hot is the bamboo sheets. Don't use regular sheets. There is a reason why and I can feel the difference. Closest to bamboo is jersey modal 100% pure beech. They work too. Being menopausal I found what works. Awesome Bed! Its been almost 30 days and I know i will go past the 100 day guarantee. But comfort is comfort and I found it. Always had lower back pain in the past and when my old bed wore out I knew it was time for a new one. Just can't believe the beds in local stores were crap now. Husband called up brother who works for a foam company and told us that the name brand companies were using lower quality foam nowadays. That might explain it. My son a truck driver has the seat cushion and swears by it. I bought the mattress and called to tell him and he told me he had the cushion. Wow, we didn't even know each other had purple in some way. He wants to see if they make custom bed for his truck. I asked him to call purple. I don't have that answer yet while writing this. It arrived nicely packaged and was amazing to watch it open. Follow directions and there is zero problems. We did it and didn't have to move or lift. Awesome-Love it !!
