The purple mattress wasn't for us, but it was everything promised. Well made, pressure relieving, good customer service. Returned it becuase of disagreement between spouses. Even the money-back experience went flawlessly and we were able to donate it to a great organization so everyone wins. Purple earns 5 stars even though we did not keep it. Do yourself a favor and try it. You have nothing to lose.

We have had the bed for about 5 weeks. I am so happy with the fact that I can have a soft yet supportive bed. It really does what it says. I'm 220 and toss and turn all night. Now I turn just a couple times a night and literally say to myself wow I am comfortable and I wake up without shoulder or back pain.

I couldnt have made a better decision. This is the first bed I have ever purchased. I was an athlete and work over 60hrs a week so my body has been through and still goes through so much everyday. My bed choice is crucial to a great performance. I fall asleep quickly and wake up feeling rejuvenated and relaxed!

My wife and I purchased a standard KING Purple mattress in 2017 and we continue to tout it as the best mattress we have owned all of our lives. We decided to replace a QUEEN Casper mattress in another room with the 2020 standard Purple Mattress and are disappointed to find that the new standard is half as thick as the original design and acts more as an over-glorified pillow topper. Our original mattress sits on our bed frame with zero effort and is comfortable. The new standard mattress require you to have a box spring or you will feel the slats of the bed underneath you. To note: The new standard mattress has cooling technology which has been a small help and Purple continues to be more comfortable and gives a better body rest as compared to Casper, however, we are disappointed to spend the same price from our 2017 king for a 2020 queen mattress that is half as thick and not as reliable and am not willing to spend the extra (double the price) money for the hybrid with springs- we went to purple to be rid of springs.

The mattress is a bit more firm than I expected. For smaller, lighter people like myself, it does not do a good job at cradling pressure points. I am still in the 100 day trial period trying to get used to it, and decide whether I am going to return it. As for the Purple sheets, they are fantastic! Super stretchy, soft, and comfortable to sleep on. The fitted sheet actually stays on the mattress, versus other sheets which I would continuously have to adjust and stretch on the mattress.

I have slept fantastic since the first night. We purchased the basic. Husband likes it as well. My only concern is that he weighs twice as much as me and concerned the bed will sag toward him because of that as every other mattress has. But it is very comfortable.

mattress is awesome! exactly what we expected. the tube with handles was as expected, but inside,the paper instructions/insert was completely destroyed in travel, with chunks of it missing. almost look like a dog had eaten it before getting put in the tube. also instead of the purple foamy wrap it had white, so for a bit we questioned if it had been a used mattress, but the rest of the packaging was good

Set up that I paid for was not done. I had to do it myself after spending a small fortune with your company. It was not appreciated as I was out of town and the task was left to my wife and 11 year old son. Other than that, I love the mattress and power bases.

I've been nothing but happy with my new mattress!! Before I didn't want to get out of bed for work because I was so tired and achy and now I'm so comfy I don't WANT to get out of bed. I used to wake up covered in sweat with my Bamboo foam mattress, but not a once with my new Purple pal. My case is also a little unique in the sense that I have severe sleep apnea. In fact my study says that I stop breathing 79 times an hour! I also did a oxygenation study to find out how bad it was when I stopped breathing. I spent about 118 minutes at 57% oxygenation the first night, which is that kind of numbers corpses are made of. Which is why in my gallows humor I call sleep my daily suffocation ritual. I'm caught in the bad circle weight gain/tiredness/depression etc. Everything they try and attach to me gets ripped off, so I'm in the lose weight or die category(I weigh 305lbs). When I bought the mattress I felt better the first day. I didn't jump out of bed in a superhero pose, but I definitely felt physically better. A few days passed into the weekend and for no particular reason I went for a 4-5 mile walk! I don't do this everyday, but I'm slowly waking up from the miserable stupor I've been in. I'm serious, sleep used to bring me no joy whatsoever and things are definitely turning around. This may even, dare I say, been a lifesaving purchase. Which brings me to my second point. As a veteran patient and patient care provider I really think you need to get your mattress into hospitals as soon as possible. For example I had a 2 day hospitalization and was absolutely MISERABLE, because the mattress they gave me must've had a dude much bigger than me in it before, because it was hollowed out like a canoe. I got almost no sleep. Hill-Rom and Stryker stretchers and hospital beds all use a tempur pedic mattress which are heinous in the long term. If you haven't thought about this, you are missing a HUGE market where you are desperately needed. I would love to write another review in six months or so to see how this wonderful mattress has helped my life be a better place to sleep in.

My wife is the type to travel from store to store and lay on all the mattresses then go back and retry the ones she liked best. A purchase model that I deplore. I spend my time perusing online reviews, and looking at other consumers experiences. I looked at Lull, Casper, Leeza, Ghost, but in the end the overwhelmingly positive reviews won me over to the Purple. I figured 100 nights, what have I got to lose. The seat cushion arrived a couple of weeks before the bed, and my wife immediately absconded with it for her office desk chair. She has been very complimentary of it and her diminished lower back pain at work. The bed arrived and I was forced to sleep on our old Serta on the floor for two more nights, as she was adamant about adhering to the 48 hour decompression window. After 2 nights my hips and lower back had never felt better. We both appreciate how cool the bed stays as opposed to memory foam, and the lack of hot spots/pressure points. I'm sleeping better than ever thanks to Purple.
