We purchased the Purple Queen mattress and have been sleeping on it for over three months now. One major selling point was the 100-night sleep test. Sure beats trying one on a showroom floor! Our previous name-brand mattress was about eight years old. Almost every night, I'd wake up with pain in my hip due to arthritis. After about one month on the Purple, I noticed the pain was no longer an issue. My wife still has some back pain, but much less sleeping on the Purple. We both agree we're sleeping more comfortably. This review would not be complete without mentioning the price. We spent a lot more for our last mattress. It's still hard to believe we have a quality mattress for such a reasonable price. Granted, the Purple may not be for everyone, but it's the best mattress we've ever owned. I'd recommend giving it a test in your own bedroom. It truly has earned the five-star review.

This is the first time I've ever thrown 'serious' money at a mattress. The ordering and such could not have been easier. Im probably a bit over a month of sleeping on it and I just cant adjust nor can my spouse. Ive tried with the fitted sheet off and on. It's just to firm and my body aches when I wake up. After the holidays I'll be on the lookout for it's replacement unfortunately.

I'm a side sleeper and while I like it better than the 15 year old coil mattress it replaced, it''s not was we were hoping for. My wife is a stomach sleeper and doesn't like it at all. Claims that it's simply too soft. Unfortunatey we'll be finding out how easy the return process is

The Purple Bed is both cozy and supportive. I have slept on it for over 6 months and it is nothing short of wonderful. Four of my patients have bought on my recommendation and they are all happy with their purchase. I particularly like the fact that it is a neutral temperature bed that reflects back little of my heat. With a down comforter it is warm in the winter and I found it to be cool in the summer. It promotes my deep cycle and my REM sleep. I look forward to a restful sleep every night.

I am a night shift nurse. Sleeping during the day has always been hard. Being in Florida, it's naturally hotter during the day so I was always super hot and wouldn't sleep well. The cooling effects of our purple mattress help me sleep during the day, not to mention it is super comfortable and I NEVER wake up with back pain anymore. My wife and I, when we do sleep at the same time, love that when one moves, the other doesn't feel it. Definitely recommend this to anyone having sleeping problems, or anyone at all. ESPECIALLY NURSES!

So far, I have been sleeping on this thing like a bear. The only issue I have had, which is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5, was the initial off-gassing that you smell when you first lay out the mattress. It took 3-4 days before it didn't smell anymore. I would definitely buy this mattress again, it is super comfortable.

Before this mattress, my wife and I were waking up sore and not getting a full night's sleep. Not any more! First off, I loved not having to go to a mattress store (seriously, who wants to do that?!) I found the price reasonable. My only complaint is that it took a little longer to ship out our mattress than the 1-3 business day claim. We hated out old mattress so this one could not get here fast enough! We also bought the base which arrived a good bit before our mattress so that was not helping the anticipation. Our California king mattress arrived and we put on some jersey knot sheets right away. It has now been a couple weeks and I still love getting into our new bed! Neither of us wake up sore and we sleep through the entire night (as long as our toddler does as well). I bought this mattress after a strong recommendation from a co-worker.....needless to say, he was right and now I can't recommend it enough to others!

After sleeping on my new purple mattress for a few days my back pain is almost gone. For months every night my back would hurt so much. It got to the point that when I would wake up and try to reposition myself, to get rid of the pain, i would be hurting so much I could hardly move to change position. I am pretty much pain free now.

When we first got it, I was a little concerned. My wife and I are both pretty good-sized people and I didn't think this mattress would be able to take it. The first couple of nights were definitely an adjustment period, but now I realize that was because our backs were so messed up with our other mattress. We have been sleeping on the Purple bed for about two months now and we love it! We had to stay at a hotel for a couple of nights recently and we both said the same thing: "This sure ain't our Purple bed." Thanks Purple for giving us a great night's sleep again!
