Me and fiancé were in need of a new and larger mattress than the innerspring queen we had. We are average sized people, but our toddler son always finds his way to our bed. We were also experiencing back pain and overall pain due to various reasons, obviously not 100% the queens fault, but we knew we could definitely use a better mattress and bigger. After a month of reading reviews and doing research on the various mattresses on the market. I found that everything out there had some kind of negative review or issue, even the Purple mattresses, but one thing I noticed about Purple is you get what you pay for, me and my fiancé decided to give Purple a chance and purchased the Purple 3 King Hybrid premier mattress that carries a hefty price tag, but worth every penny. We also received 2 of the most comfortable pillows we have ever used. 2 Purple plush pillows, and free sheets. We also purchased the mattress protector, and all season comforter. We love everything about Purple. Best sleep we have ever had. After a couple weeks use, it's amazing. We have never felt anything like it. It's soft and firm, has a unique feeling to it. We highly recommend this mattress.

Loved it to begin with, but the Purple 3 developed severe body imprints in less than a year (I'm 5'7" & 170lbs, my husband is 6'0" & 195lbs). Customer service was great about replacing it, but the replacement is having the same problems 3 months in. It's just not built to last, which is terrible given the price point.

As the title suggests, I feel that this bed was the best choice made so far in my youth. I never owned a bed before. I slept on air and spring mattresses which made me a sad panda every night. The moment I laid on to my purple mattress, I fell deeply in love. A sense of accomplishment welled up inside me that I never felt before. We've been excited about getting a Purple mattress for years shed finally splurged on one. My wife is under 100 and I'm 180. When I'm on the mattress, it's very supportive on any position I sleep in. But my wife hasn't been able to sleep peacefully in it at all. She got some relief when she added a mattress topper but now she's higher in there need then I am. So depending on her much you weigh, you might love it or hate it. Wish Purple could make a dual firmness with a plush option.

So, a while back, my husband and I had been having a lot of back and shoulder and hip pain. We had trouble sleeping through the night, and we were searching desperately for a solution to our horrible old box spring mattress. I'll be honest, we were super hesitant about purchasing a mattress online, and we're poor college students so we didn't really want to spend a ton of money on a mattress. There seemed to be a lot of cheaper mattresses than the Purple mattress, but we really wanted something quality that could last for a long time. And, I kept running into Purple's advertisements (and lets be honest, their marketing is on point, so I was super intrigued) and I started pitching the idea to my husband to purchase it. And eventually, one night, I convinced him. (Plus if we didn't like it we could just get our money back! So why not?!) And let me tell you.... it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. We sleep so well. I hate going to visit family or sleeping in hotels because I can't sleep on my amazing mattress. It. Is. Like. Sleeping. On. A. Cloud. Except, the cloud is firm enough to support your body, and soft enough to cradle you like a baby. Seriously, it's amazing. So seriously, do it. You know you want to. Also, here's a few notes and details about our experience in case you're still hesitant: -My husband is about 225 lbs and I'm about 160 lbs. He sinks into the mattress a lot better than I do, but I still find it amazingly comfy -I sleep on my sides, and the shoulder pain I used to feel has completely vanished -He sleeps on his back, and he asks me for back rubs less often now...good deal, really -We've had our mattress a little over a month now, so we have given ourselves time to really get used to it before writing this review -You might want to get some stretchy sheets or a stretchy mattress protector. For the first week, we had a sorta thick mattress pad on top of the mattress, and while it was still comfy, we weren't getting the full sinking-in experience. We took it off and now we just have our regular sheets (which aren't really stretchy) and we feel the bed much better. However, the fitted sheet doesn't like to stay on the mattress, since the mattress does flex with your body, so we have to fix it every day. Slight annoyance, for the price of basically sleeping on a bunny rabbit -If you're thinking you're just gonna lay on this mattress and sink in like the raw eggs in the video, you're wrong. The mattress will bend to your body to an extent, but you're not gonna sink completely. The gel-y stuff it's made from is firm, so you really do get the support you need, but squishy enough to bend so you are super comfy -My husband and I wake up with so much more energy than we used to, and I actually sleep through the night!! -We bought the Purple mattress base with our mattress, which is super awesome, and we've found that the bed stays in place for the most part -It's awesome. Give it a try! It might just change your entire sleeping routine!

After buying 2 beds that I was pleased with, but were a little on firm side, heard good review of the purple bed from a trusted coworker. Decided to buy and am very satisfied with it. 1st bed I can lay in after waking in the morning for as long as I want without pain. Typically I am in pain if I lay in bed past 8 hrs. Also fall asleep quick

I heard about the Purple Mattress from three different people. I researched a lot of different mattresses and decided to try this one. The first week I had it, I did not sleep well. The second week I had it was probably the best sleep I've had in a very, very long time. Then, I received the Purple Pillow. Holy cow! So comfortable! I haven't stopped talking about my new mattress since I got it.

This mattress has changed my life. I used to wake up a few times in the night with intense lower back pain. My first night sleeping on my purple mattress I didn't wake up once, and my back didn't hurt all day. I have never slept more soundly and pain-free!

I will be sending the Purple Mattress back. It has not worked for me as I had hoped for. It has been like sleeping on concrete. Sleepless nights has been my experience with this mattress. I am so sorry. I was hoping this was going to be the right way to go.

The purple mattress not only supports my side sleeping preference, but also never sags or makes me feel as if my butt is sinking, kind of like an air mattress does when it loses air. The commercials are accurate and every mattress comes with t-shirt style stretchy sheets which are super comfortable, but I'd have to say I do feel myself sweating slightly more with these sheets compared to others. Every purchase also comes with a cool mini mattress toy to show off your new mattress material! 11/10 would recommend and buy again!
