After two nights sleep I declared to my wife, "I've had two of the best nights sleep of my life!" I thought a waterbed was the only bed for me. My wife tested out a friend's purple king bed before she surprised me with one. She said she almost fell asleep right there at her friend's house. Some mornings my wife struggles to leave the comfort of the bed. She also no longer has hip and shoulder pain while sleeping. I look forward to getting in the bed each night and fall asleep with no problems.

This is the most comfortable and durable mattress we have ever owned. It meets two entirely different sleeping styles and my husband no longer complains about his arms falling asleep. We've bought 3 twin mattresses as well and they have been loved by their recipients!

I bought a Purple mattress a few weeks back and wow, what a mattress! When it arrived, I heard a knock at the door and by the time I got there, the delivery man was heading back to his van, pushing his empty dolly. I looked to my left and there was my beautiful rolled up Purple mattress in a tube, leaning up against my wall. I grabbed ahold of it and started to carry it in. Umph. One more time. Umph! Wow, that puppy is heavy. So I got my dolly and wheeled it in. I had received the Purple frame a couple of days prior, and it was set up in anticipation of the mattress's arrival. Setting it up was easy as I used the Purple slicer that came with my new mattress to cut through the wrapping plastic. I spread it open on the frame and it came to life. That first night was a dream coming true. And it has gotten better each night, as I wake up feeling more refreshed each day.

I ordered a Purple mattress. It only took about ten days to receive it. The packaging was very easy to handle, and the whole process was so simple. However, for my personal taste, the mattress was just too firm. At that point I emailed Purple about returning it, and might I say your customer service is unequalled. My initial letter stating that Purple just wasn't going to work for me was answered immediately with a very cordial letter stating how to initiate the return. I took care of the steps and the next day received another email stating my account would be credited within 3-5 business days, and two days later I had my money back. The next day I received the nicest email stating your company appreciated that I tried the mattress even though It didn't work for me. Great product. Unbelievable service. I would, and have, recommended it to anyone looking for a great nights sleep.

This is probably going to be the longest review Purple has ever received, but I want to start from the beginning with my experience because I relied heavily on the reviews of other people before making the "life-choice" of what mattress to purchase. I knew what I wanted in a mattress; support for my lower back and to never experience "the dip" - which so commonly occurs with every single mattress out there - ever again. I had a memory foam mattress before I bought my Purple mattress. On a day-to-day basis, I do not have any back pain. I only had lower back pain in the morning so long as I was in bed for longer than 6 hours, which would slowly dissipate the more I got up and started to move around. Before my memory foam mattress, I had a typical 'spring' mattress. I bought the memory foam mattress because I thought it was what I needed to help with my lower back pain that I had from the spring mattress. Since that mattress was a hand-me-down, it goes without saying that 'the dip' was deep enough to lose a whole body! So, in short, I've had lower back pain for around 10 years now, all from a mattress. I was ready to take the step and spend my beloved, hard-earned money on a new mattress, but which one?! My parents have a Sleep Number and they hate it, I didn't want another memory foam mattress, I was steering VERY clear of a spring mattress, which then led me right to Purple. As I said before, I read review after review. The final review I read is what 'sold' me. A Veteran who had seen and done it all for the love of his country (Thank you for your service) had MANY body aches, as I am sure you can imagine. He talked about having back pain and how, on the very first night, he woke up the next morning with no pain. "WOW! It's a "magic mattress"!", I thought. He also stated in his review that he bought the whole kit-n-kaboodle; the pillow, the sheets, the mattress protector, and of course, the mattress. I, however, only bought the mattress and the sheets - which are the most amazing bed sheets I've ever owned. Amongst my research, I saw a few reviews that said that it could take a few nights, weeks or even months for your body to get used to the mattress. Ok, makes sense. So, here I go...I make "the purchase", I do some hard core Fed Ex stalking and then ALAS! It's finally here! (side note: I read reviews that warned that this mattress was heavy and that you need two people to move this. Me, being stubborn and very independent, laughed at the warnings. I am here to tell you, this sucker is HEAVY! You most certainly need two people.) Fast forward a month and a half, I still wake up with back pain every morning however, it's not as bad. It's very disheartening spending such a large sum of money (to me, this is a large sum) to not have "the magic" work. Yes, I know, this isn't a magical mattress, but I at least expected to sleep in bed longer than 6 hours at a time. I told everyone I know about this mattress because I was SO excited. Since it's been a month and a half, they're now asking me how I like it. Here's the truth, I don't know! When I lay down at night, I love it. When I wake up in the morning, I am disappointed. Someone said, "maybe it's your pillow". So, my next step is to purchase their original Purple Pillow and hope for the best. Due to just buying a house and buying a mattress, the funds aren't readily available to do so for a while yet. I know the mattress comes with a 100 night trial period, but I honestly don't want to get rid of it because what am I going to purchase instead? (see aforementioned stipulations above) Time will tell, I suppose. Until then, sleep well my friends!

We purchased an original Purple mattress in 2017. Great sleep for 2 years but noticed some abnormalities in 2020, contacted Purple and they sent a replacement under warranty and also paid to remove old mattress! Now we are back to great sleep!!! Thanks Purple!!!

I ordered the OG Purple after weighing the cost of the other Purple options. Cost was a major factor and I wanted to get the best mattress I could afford. It was delivered in the time frame that was estimated, which was about a week including waiting for shipping. I can't say enough good things about this mattress. It truly conforms to my 6ft 235lb frame. I had been diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea about 3 years ago and lately had issues falling asleep without a sleep aid. I have not had to take anything since I got the Purple. I lay down and get set for sleep and am out in less than 15 min or so. I'd usually wake up after about 4 hours and have problems falling back to sleep on my old mattress. Not w this Purple. When I've woken up, I just shift to my other side and off to sleep I go. I get a solid 7-8 hours. I have had such a great experience w this matress, I decided to order the adjustable frame and a harmony pillow for both me and my husband. He loves the Purple as much as I do!

This is the best mattress I've ever owned. With my old pillow top I would wake several times during the night and need to roll over due to pain, that is not the case with the purple I now can sleep in one position through the night without any pain. I've already told several friends and family they should buy one.

I had bad back pain for over 10 years. Every bed I slept in was torture. I would take up in the middle of the night barely able to move. The first 3 days of the purple mattress was an adjustment but I wake up pain free every morning and I actually sleep through the night now. I'm getting a much better quality of sleep. I can't enough good things about this mattress.

We've only had this mattress less than a week but I am getting an amazing night's sleep. Immediate difference. And the stretch sheets have just the right amount of weight to them and make you feel like you're sleeping in a butterfly's cocoon. Truly wonderful!
