Bought this because my old mattress left me sore in the morning after waking up. This mattress leaves me feeling the same. After about a month to acclimate to the purple mattress there is no difference. I try to sleep on my couch during the weekends to get some back pain relief. Will probably return.

SLEPT 3 STRAIGHT NIGHTS ON IT. HAVE BEEN SLEEPING ON A LUMPY COUCH BFOR THE P0AST 11 YEARS SINCE MY WIFE DIED. JUST HAVE NOT FELT COMFORTABLE IN OUR MASTER BEDROOM SINCE SHE PASSED ON. HAVE DEVELOPED NEUROPATHY IN NECK AND HANDS FROM SLEEPING ON COUCH SO LONG-I BELIEVE. I DID AST LEAST BUY A REGULAR SIZE "MY PILLOIW" FOR THE COUCH 2 YEARS AGO. DID HELP SOME. SO I ALSO ORDERED NEW LARGE SIZE "MY PILLIOWS" TO GO BWITHTHE NEW PURPLE MATRESS, SUPPORT FRAME, SHEETS (WHICH ARE GREAT) COMFORTER. HAPPY SO FAR, HOPING FOR HELP FOR MY NEUOPATHY SOON.

bought a bedframe and Queen mattress. loved the mattress the first night but my boyfriend did not. it took his back about 3 weeks to get used to it. I expected this bed to feel soft and cradle me but instead its actually the firmest bed ive ever had, in a good way. the mattress gives where you need it, so your body feels in complete contact with the mattress while still being firm. i never thought id ever love a firm mattress. purple gets it right. I could go into more personal detail but this review is already too long. the bedframe was taller than i expected even though i received measurements which are accurate. the bedframe fits perfectly with the mattress slightly over the frame so that you dont feel cold hard metal on your thighs sliding off the bed in the morning (im short) which was one of my worries. im not exactly impressed with how both peices of bedframe connected by two silly screws which one of them came bent, but the bed is very stable and honestly i love it regardless.

I would avoid this brand completely to be honest. The mattress is not great and we ended up returning it. We also got the platform and while the website does say the customer is responsible for return shipping (should be a big red flag anyway!) what they don't tell you is it comes in a GIANT 78lb box which will cost hundreds if not thousands to ship back. UPS and USPS won't even take it at all its so big. The mattress's warranty is also voided if its not a platform so might as well just buy somewhere else because they require you to buy a platform and if its not theirs why bother with this company at all? Do not recommend.

I purchased this bed in hopes the goldilocks ad didn't mislead me. I have been sleeping on the bed for about three weeks now and I'm thoroughly pleased with results so far. My precious mattress was a temper foam that broke down in only four years of use. I had aching hips and back daily from sleeping on my former mattress. With the Purple I don't struggle to get out of bed. Almost all my joint pain is gone and I know it will get better the longer I sleep on my Purple. Now I just need someone to haul off my old mattress to the dump. Purple for life!

I was a little worried buying the purple original because I saw some reviews that said "if you are a side sleeper who weighs less than 150lbs you probably need something softer like the Purple3." I'm around 120 and this mattress has worked great for me! The original purple was in our price range and my husband and I have not been disappointed!

This is without a doubt the best mattress I have ever used. My wife and I were sleeping on an expensive hybrid for the last 5 years until the foam layer started to break down and created two large indentations where we normally sleep. After reading the reviews on the original Purple we decided it was time for a change. I am so happy we made the switch and both my wife and I have never slept better.

this mattress has been awesome its just the right amount of firm but soft. Its cool to feel the grid pattern in it. My husband has been in a few auto accidents and he suffers from pain daily but this bed at least allows him a more comfortable night sleep.

Woke up with out lower back pain for the first time in many years. It's great for back sleepers but not so much for the side-sleepers. If you often sleep on your side I would get a more moderate-type of bed rather than a moderate-firm. Otherwise it's a good bed for those experiencing lower back pain.

We have tried soft beds firm beds toppers.... nothing has been as comfortable as our purple bed. It's firm and doesn't disturb the other one sleeping- great for us and his shift schedule. Let's just take a moment to discuss the amazing sheets- soft as can be and the elastic on the fitted sheet- all the way around! My sensitive skin doesn't like not one crease on the fitted sheet - makes me itchy ( who am I a princess ?) they stay put and are perfect for comfort and stability. Thanks purple science guys! It's the best!
