For the past 3 months I have been sleeping on probably the worlds worst mattress. It was just something to get me by before I was able to purchase something a little more, well let's be honest, awesome. So I bought the purple mattress, and a couple pillows for my other half. This is seriously the best mattress I've ever slept on and I would definitely buy one of these again. Hands down. The pillow is like a cloud for my head, I absolutely love it.

Both, my husband and I love the bed! Ayer about two weeks of sleeping on it, we have actually been able to "sleep in"! I don't get to warm at night anymore and his shoulder doesn't bother him! We should send the bed back because now we sleep too much!

So when I bought the mattress I spoke to a rep who said that the original purple would be best for me. I After reading all the reviews saying it's like a pillow when you sleep I was super excited to get it. When I got my mattress and set everything up my first night of sleep was an adjustment period. Now, about a month later, I'm able to sleep without back or side pains often which is good, however I thought that it would be softer. When I hear "feels like a pillow" or "like you're sleeping on a cloud" I'm put in a certain mindset for the experience. I'm a tad bit let down that it doesn't feel like that, BUT it does it's job and allows me to sleep better. So for now, I'm not in love, just in like.

My boyfriend gushed about the Purple mattress he used before he moved here. We had been sleeping on a memory foam mattress for over a year before we decided to buy this. The difference was immediate! It inflated VERY quickly, had no smell. We slept on it starting that night. It feels squishy but supportive. We love it!

I have heel pain in my feet and for some reason the pain is less when I sleep in this bed. Hurray! My feet were the first part on my body to fully appreciate this bed. My back likes the bed as well. The first few nights I kept waking up because it felt different and I kept panicking a little wonder where I was in my sleepy stupor. Now a month later it feels normal to me and I enjoy the new bed. My back has been very happy. The mattress sleeps rather cool, but I still do get hot at times. We wish there were purple pillows. Things I don't like: 1. buying ridiculously expensive sheets to go on it so I can get the full purple effect 2. The mattress is so dang heavy. We set up the bed before we had put a bed skirt underneath... now we have opted to not ever put on a bed skirt because the mattress is awful to move. It is like moving a futon mattress but WORSE.

I've recently purchased a purple mattress with frame. I'm very pleased with my purchase and so is my husband. Since receiving our purple mattress we've slept through the night, we don't wake each other with movement and the bed stays cold!!!!! Which is awesome and makes sleep so much better. I will be telling everyone to buy from purple from now on. This is the best purchase I've ever made. I'm so very very thrilled.

All my life I've struggled with one thing, sleeping hot. Lighter blankets, constant fans, open windows-- nothing helped. I previously thought there was nothing for me to do to solve it. Then came the purple mattress, sheets, and pillow, the full experience! Immediately I could sleep cool and comfortable. The proprietary hyper-elastic material is perfect. It keeps me cool, relieves pressure on my joints, and leaves me feeling very well rested every single night. We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping, why not make it the best 1/3 of your life as you can. Thank you purple!

All I can really say is that I LOVE my Purple mattress. I decided to go for the "new" Purple 3 and I couldn't be happier about my decision. I am a longtime sufferer of back and hip pain and since switching to Purple, I have noticed a significant difference in the amount of pain I have. I also really like how it doesn't sink when you sit on it. I live in a situation where my mattress kind of doubles as a couch/chair, so it's important for me to have a durable mattress that's comfortable for both sleeping and sitting. The Purple does very well in this sense, as well. The only downside was how long it took me to receive the mattress and the overall weight of it. It's also just big enough where normal full size sheets are a bit snug. If you are getting a full mattress, you might want to consider getting queen sheets because the fitted sheet will probably fit better.

I was suffering from serious back pain so my wife and I (who has a restless sleep pattern) decided to buy a new mattress. We went with the original purple and two pillows. We were in love in minutes. After a few days I had no back pain and my wife is sleeping all through the night. Take pride in the work you do because it ended pain for me and improved my quality of life. Be proud of yourselves and know I am very greatful, and yes there will always be a purple mattress in our bedroom.

After years of never been happy with our sleep quality my wife and I decided to find mattress we can be really happy with. Purple's new grid technology caught our attention so we ordered it, received in about a week, unrolled it on queen bed. If mattress can impress with the look Purple sure did, but real test followed at night. We both lay on our backs and mattress felt very comfortable, supportive where it needed to be. My main grievance with old mattress was that I sleep hot and it quickly built a heat which made me turn and toss all night. Now Purple claims to be heat neutral, but it took a little longer than old mattress, however heat build came and tossing and turning followed. I'm 200 lb and have wide shoulders and Purple is to hard to let my shoulders sink enough to aligne spine correctly so side position did not work. My wife said it was very comfortable for sleeping on her back (less lower back pain, but not upper), however she is habitual side sleeper and Purple was marginally better than old mattress in that regard. So after all that I can say that IMHO Purple is excellent choice for back sleepers who do not sleep hot and petite side sleepers with narrow shoulders. Unfortunately it did not work for us. Why 4 stars, well I am totally impressed with Purple customer support responsiveness. They let me choose local charity to donate mattress to and process refund very next day. You can not find better customer service anywhere, but could wish there is more companies like that .
