As a former USA record holder in Women's Olympic Weightlifting now aged 50+, I used to rise each morning with aches and pains earned from my glory days. That morning experience slowly worsened over time despite buying the best memory foam and air-numbered mattress systems available. Then, 2-weeks ago, I received my Purple mattress. I slept well through the first night and awoke the next morning without the routine aches and stiffness. Nights went by and more happy awakenings followed. Now into my second week I am pleased to share this early experience. While I wasn't happy waiting 6-weeks to receive my Purple mattress, I can write with equal honesty that it proved well worth the wait. Thank-you, Purple, thank-you.

My wife and I have had our Purple bed for 6 months now and we are regretting our decision to keep the mattress. Over the first few months it felt OK, nothing spectacular, but not worth the hassle of returning it and searching for something new. Big mistake. We now hate our bed. The idea of a supportive, pressure point free bed is terrific, but the purple mattress does the opposite, it creates pressure points. I can literally see the grid patter on my body when I wake up. I am sore and stiff from the areas where the bed just doesn't give. The other reason we went to the bed was to find something cooler to sleep on. It turns out, that is not significantly better either. Yes, the bed starts cool, but as soon as you warm up the area, there is no escaping the heat, it is everywhere. If you have an old traditional mattress, this bed will feel like a miracle initially, but over time, you will start to feel the pain just as we did. Lesson learned on our part, time to start searching again.

This mattress hasn't done anything for the aches and pains in my back and shoulders. My doctor told me to invest in a new mattress and I clearly made the wrong choice despite all my research online. It's too soft for me, personally, and I can feel the grid texture through all my sheets which I find uncomfortable.

My wife and I have slept in a Tempupedic for 13 years and have been very happy with it for the most part. It was time for a new mattress and we wanted to try something different. The Purple is awesome! It's so soft but supportive. It makes the Temperpedic bed seem hard and uncomfortable by comparison. There was practically no adjustment period as well. It has been excellent from the start. You can sort of feel the grid technology when you are on it but it's not an issue at all. I highly recommend this bed if you like or want to try memory foam.

I had my previous bed for 8 years, and was hesitant to buy a new mattress. After sleep on the purple for three weeks, I am highly satisfied. I'm a side sleeper and have lower back problems. The intense pains have been continuing to subside with each night I sleep on this new mattress. It's very comfortable and I can't believe I don't feel my wife get in and out of bed. Amazing!

We have never slept better on another mattress! The purple mattress is awesome! We ordered it based solely on other reviews. We moved to a new state and wanted a new mattress, so ordered it and a frame (plus the sheets and mattress pad). We planned to try it for a few nights and if we didn't like it, then it would go to our guest room. We kept it! So, the platform frame is in the guest room with the old king mattress on it. And we put the purple mattress on our box springs. I wanted to figure out how to get the platform into our bed frame, but without cutting it up, there wasn't a way, so my purple mattress is a little low in the frame since it isn't as thick as my old mattress, but I still sleep like a baby!

This is my and my husbands first mattress since we have been together. I researched for what seemed like for ever. I was tired of waking up sore and my back hurt all the time. My arms would fall asleep and I'd wake up at every time of the night just to re-position. Purple has changed everything. My back doesn't hurt all the time anymore. I don't wake up hurting. I sleep through the night, so I'm better rested. BUT it did take about 30 days to get to this. Yes, the first night was amazing, I have to saw, but my husband was -not- impressed. I begged him, wait 30 days and let me know. Just give it time. LO AND BEHOLD he actually showed off the mattress to his friend the other night! HAHA! Also, my dogs have decided they enjoy it too. I find them sneaking off to lay on it.

The bed, thus far, has been very comfy. The base has been good (the massage feature is weird and unnecessary, not relaxing at all). The mattress is very cool to the touch, which will be awesome in the summer, right now it is kind of irritating. But I digress. Delivery took FOREVER. We had our PowerBases for two weeks-just taunting us. A better coordination between those deliveries would make so much more sense.

What I wanted was a bed just as comfy, if not more, then my previous bed of a futon with a 6 inch memory foam mattress pad. I got exactly what I what I wanted. It's just as supportive as they, and it does wonders for my lower back and spine while I sleep. I can only give it four stars as I have had it for less than a month. But in my first few weeks, the bed functions exactly as advertised, and I have no reason to believe that will change in the future.

I am really enjoying this mattress. The bed is firm yet soft. The sheets are even softer. I kinda don't understand why people say it took them awhile to get used to it, even to the point of returning it. I had no issues with that at all and my back feels much better. I have some lower back issues. To each their own though definitely vibe out if the bed is right for you. It may not be for some, but for me 100% yes!
