Love the grid foam(feels great) and the extra little things they give you with the mattress delivery. It just makes the experience way better. Super easy to setup - it's vacuum sealed so all you have to do is put it on your mattress frame and cut the roll open and the mattress expands onto it. Slept like a baby my first night. It's definitely pricey but I think it's probably worth it if you are looking for a great mattress and a good nights sleep for years to come. 10/10

Three years ago I had to have back surgery due to a blown disc. After my surgery I had to sleep with a pillow under/between my knees (depending on my sleeping position) or suffer great pain upon waking. My sister had a purple mattress and I laid on it a couple of times and loved it, so I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase one. One of the best decisions I've ever made! I no longer have to sleep with a pillow under my knees because the mattress perfectly aligns my spine and I never wake up with pain. I will never not have a purple mattress in my life!

I absolutely love the Purple mattress. I get a great night's sleep every night. I previously suffered from hip and leg pain and numbing during the night with my old mattress. From the first night on the Purple mattress, I have not experienced any pain or numbness. I even spend some waking hours on my bed now, because it is the most comfortable furniture in my home. The mattress was easy to unpack and put onto my bed frame. I make all my friends try it out when they come over to my house.

Let me start this review off by saying that despite everything I am about to say I would buy this mattress again. I chose to get this bed because my innerspring mattress was creating a lot of discomfort and pain throughout the night (and day) from all of the pressure points. This mattress was less than 2 yrs old. When I received this mattress I weighed about 275 lbs (recently down from over 300 lbs). I was surprised by the lack of the support from the upper layers. I immediately sank down and could feel the bottom (firmest) layer very pronounced. Despite the lack of comfort from the bed it did grant me something I dearly needed which was a day without pain. The lack of pain the day after the first night sleep was amazing. That being said I am a side sleeper and the only time and I not uncomfortable in the bed is on my back which would be fine if I could sleep in that position. Consequently I typically have trouble finding a position in which to sleep that affords comfort. Out of habit I try to sleep on my side with my arm under my head with the pillow in between. The mattress will not permit this (for me). When I try it positions my spine out of alignment and I experience fairly intense pain. It could no doubt be argued that one should not sleep in such a position to which I reply "I sleep how I sleep. I am not conscience when I change positions in the middle of the night so I have little control over it." I am not saying don't buy the bed if you sleep like this as well. I am saying go in fully informed. My innerspring mattress accommodated this way of sleeping. The purple mattress does not (at least for me). It is probable that I will not experience many of these issues when I am down to 240 lbs or less. By the same token I cannot even imagine the discomfort if I were still over 300. I just think if you are a heavier person you should take this into consideration. That being said, if you are not someone who has a problem sending the mattress back if it does not work out of you, then you really have nothing to loose by trying it out (with the likely exception of a fair shipping and handling fee).

Wow, just WOW. I suffer from Fibromyalgia, so I am in pain all the time. It's pretty hard to get up after sleeping because I'm sore and stiff. I work nights, on my feet saving lives while the rest of the world is in bed. My other half works 2 days , then 2 nights, on his feet all night, doing hard labor in a paper mill. We spent half a year researching all of these new beds, trying to make an informed decision. Finally we decided to go with Purple. I do not regret it ONE BIT. It has only been 3 sleeps, but I noticed a difference immediately. I didn't wake up through the day to roll over because of pain or pressure on my hip. I am sleeping more soundly. He is as well,. He has said that his shoulders and hips hurt less too! There are a couple warnings I will give you! * Don't expect to be wham bam, change overnight completely. Your body is going to have to adjust to sleeping on a new mattress. Much like staying in a hotel, you're not used to that bed so you're sore in new places. Purple, and reviews from actual customers will tell you it takes a bit or your body to get adjusted. * Be prepared to be spoiled from any other mattress ever again. I love my purple!

Love this mattress. I had been suffering from back pain when sleeping for a while. I'm usually a side/back sleeper and always woke up with pain with my old mattress. Since switching over to purple, the back pain is gone. I noticed the difference after about 3 days of sleeping on it. The technology used for create this mattress is no joke. It was definitely different than what I expected, but in a good way. It has far exceeded my expectations. I'd highly recommend this mattress to anyone.

I had been having a lot of problems sleeping and waking up extremely tired. I finally decided to get a new mattress to see if it would help. I should have made this purchase a long time ago. The purple mattress and purple pillow have been amazing. I wake up feeling rested and without problems it's very wonderful. I would definitely purchase this mattress again in the future. I didnt know how much of a difference a good mattress and a good pillow could make to my life.

This mattress is everything I could have wanted and more. I have been suffering from insomnia for 4 years, and had been sleeping on a terribly old, unsupportive mattress. We have had the King sized Purple mattress for a few weeks and I can't imagine sleep without it!!! My sleep quality has improved drastically and the mattress is extremely supportive while still being soft. I was initially unsure about purchasing a mattress without trying it out, but with the 100 day trial period, it helped ease that feeling. I know I will not need to be returning this, and am so glad I took the step to buy it. I recommend to anyone!

My wife and I have slept on Tempur-Pedic mattresses for years, but I never liked how warm i was in the mornings. The Purple mattress doesn't hold the heat and supports me very well (I weigh 340lbs.) It takes a little getting used to the feel, but very good sleep so far...

My husband has some back issues and our old mattress was shot. We have been on the hunt, trying several mattresses that just didn't work for him. I was excited when he agreed to try The Purple as I have heard great things, and we were both pretty excited. Unfortunately he has only slept on it twice in the first week and both nights he would have to get up by 3am to go to the couch because he was in unbearable pain. Such pain that he refuses to even sleep on it anymore. I like the mattress ok, but I need my husband to not just be comfortable, but to be pain free. So the hunt continues for his unicorn mattress.
