I have some problems with sleep. So I bought a purple mattress on someone's recommendation. I did not want a Tempur-pedic mattress because the memory foam eventually remembers where you've slept and tends to keep the impression of your body . I think I have been sleeping better on the purple mattress then on my old innerspring mattress but I haven't decided yet if it's the right mattress for me. One thing I can say is if you're trying to get it downstairs, don't let it go at the top as it will punch a hole right through drywall . This I have learned from experience.

I've had this mattress for a month and I just cannot get comfortable. I am a side sleeper and every morning I wake up with terrible pain in my right or left arm/shoulder depending on what side I sleep on. This mattress does not feel all like foam. It feels like a rubber blow up mattress you have in a dorm room. If you throw and egg crate on top of one of those crappy mattresses it would be way more comfortable than the purple bed.

I got a king size p-mattress and after sleeping on it for several weeks my back has been hurting every morning when I wake up and this is new. The bed feels amazing to the touch but when you lay down on it it is just too firm. I imagine them needing several more inches worth of the cushy gel so you can sink into it; doing so would allow more weight distribution and support for the body. I feel like it is just not plush or soft enough to be comfortable. I will not be able to use this mattress.

The combo of the mattress and powerbase have been fantastic. I love the 'weightless' setting. It took a little adjusting to the mattress but after a few weeks, I didn't want to get out of bed. I have given it four stars because some of the powerbase construction is a little less solid than I would like. It works great and was fine until I moved. I relocated shortly after buying the bed and the movers have some trouble with moving it because (a) the mattress doesn't have handles and (b) the outside edge of the powerbase isn't a solid material. Ultimately, the outside edge got a little bit bent out of shape during the move but thankfully I have a bed frame that the powerbase sits inside of and so it's not visible. It would be nice if the outside edge of the base were a bit more sturdy. Either way, loving the combo of the mattress and base.

I am super happy with the product that I purchased online without being able verify in person. The main selling point was its coolness as you sleep and that does not disappoint for someone who can sweat when he sleeps. That's huge. The gel texture is interesting on the surface but I am starting to prefer it. Delivery was spot on. Easy to deal with. My only thing is I wanted it to be a little firmer for a foam based mattress. That being said I am very happy with my decision. :)

I have PsA and spondylitis, and usually wake up stiff and in a lot of pain. Didn't notice a difference at first when I started using the Purple Mattress, until I stayed over at a friends house. I woke up with the worst back pain and realized that I hadn't woken up like that in a week with my Purple Mattress. So happy I found this mattress and thankful for one less thing to worry about each morning!

I am a side sleeper, and also someone who works out on a daily basis, so I will typically have muscle soreness or stiffness from that on a regular basis. I had a friend who recommended this mattress to me, so I took a chance considering the 30 day no risk policy. Sadly, I did not ask for a refund within the first 30 days as what I came to discover is that this mattress seems to be on the firmer side and works well when I sleep on my back. Problem is, I typically sleep on my side, and for that, this is not the best mattress on the market in my honest opinion. It just doesn't have enough cushioning when I'm on my side, and I'd often wake up several times throughout the night because of this. In short, I would caution anyone who sleeps on their side away from this mattress and steer you toward a softer memory foam instead.

If you want to get anything done...Don't buy this bed!!! I am doing everything I can to stay in it longer. Sleeping in. Going to bed early. My house is a mess and no one is eating good food!!!! It's soooooooooooooooooooooooo comfortable. Lower backs pains are gone. My limbs don't fall asleep. It's just an amazing mattress.

The first night was a nightmare for me. We received the mattress late December and it was left in our extremely cold garage for 4 days until we could get help to bring it in. I have bad arthritis and when I crawled in bed the first night, it was like diving into complete ice water. I tried laying on the top sheet for another layer between me and the mattress, but still my body was throbbing. To make a long story short, I ended up turning the electric blanket on high and sleeping on top of it, then putting other blankets on me. Finally, I was able to get a couple of hours of sleep. I left the electric blanket on high the entire next day to warm up the mattress. The second night was awesome. The moral of this story is, put the mattress inside to warm up for a few days if it's delivered in the winter, before trying to sleep on it with an arthritic body. Also, I was skeptical how I would adjust going from a pillow-top mattress to the purple mattress. Actually there was no adjusting at all and I actually can turn over from side to side, much more easily than I could on the pillow-top mattress.

Alright here is the thing this the mattress is amazing, the platform base is perfect, as far as the mattress protector I would love to say it is exactly what I wanted, sadly I received the King size and I have the Queen size mattress. So here is where I have the issue I have called customer care several times and I have not been helped in anyway. I would think if someone is willing to spend a good amount of money with a company the company would be willing to assist their customer. So I will say that I would recommend the mattress, I can only say I hope that you wont have to deal with the customer service department.
