Was very upset as a previous purple mattress owner! The new mattress was not the same as the first one I bought years ago. The new one had way too much memory phone and the pillows were just cut out of left over mattress. Very cheaply made also way too heavy

So...last night was our first night sleeping in our new queen Purple mattress. This morning I woke up carefully assessing how well I had slept. I planted my feet on the ground , stood up, and proceeded to the bathroom as I do everything morning. In a bit of a haze, I thought to myself, "This bed just might have lived up to all the hype!" And then i experienced the most unexpected emotion of disappointment! As I looked in the mirror, I jerked my head to the right and then again to the left as I do every morning to crack my neck for a momentary feeling of relief....but there was no crack!...there was NOTHING! It took me a moment to realize that this annoyance was in fact something to celebrate instead. I was so accustomed to the misalignment of my neck every morning that it didn't occur to me that not needing to crack my neck would be such a wonderful experience from sleeping on the Rainbow-Pooping-Squatty-Potty-Loving-Unicorn of beds! Yes, people....it is THAT AMAZING!!!

I feel less achy and more well rested in the mornings than I have in a very long time. I've had beds that were comfortable - but I would still not feel well rested even after 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Now I have a bed that is comfortable, and actually helps me sleep better. My body isn't achy in the mornings like it used to be, and I don't feel as tired when I wake up.

I think it's so hard to buy mattresses. Don't they ALL feel comfy when we try them out in the store? The question is how it will feel a year or five years or even up to the ten year warranty time. I've slept on my Purple mattress for about a week and I love it. It's all that was promised. I hope to be able to report the same in later years. The concept and materials make sense to me, so I'm feeling optimistic.

The mattress started out great, it was a joy to sleep on for the first 8-10 months, bought new Sept. 26th, 2017. But now it's like sleeping in a trough. All the areas around where your body is laying are still firm, but when you're laying in the area you sleep, it feels degraded, broken down somehow. It's nothing you can really see, and not really measurable, as far as just looking at it. But the sleep has gotten to the point that by the time we wake up, both of us, our backs just ache. And sometimes you just lay there, trying to make yourself comfortable, all night. NOT what we were sold on, and NOT what we expected, based upon the reviews. We went from super happy with our purchase, to super disappointed, in just over 24 months.

I have not had back or hip pain since I unrolled my Purple mattress a year ago. Nothing I have ever slept has had such a perfect balance of support and comfort, all without pressure points or heat buildup. This is saying something. I am 68, owned seven furniture stores in my life. I sold all the major brands in the larger stores, and futons, waterbeds, and tube flotation beds in specialty and boutique stores . I've even worked with large manufacturers designing mattresses that we hoped would accomplish what my Purple mattress does. My thanks to the team at Purple for so greatly improving the quality of my life.

I'm just a young lady attending college, and to be frugal I had furnished my apartment with hand-me-down furniture, including the mattress. Little did I know, the feather-top cover on my mattress would quickly compressed, leaving me to toss and turn on the oh-so-hard spring mattress. I was in dire need of help when I spent the night (and many thereafter) in the bed of a handsome and charming young man, for I fell in love with him and his mattress. This mattress saved me from the evil clutches of a super hard spring mattress, so I bought one for myself. It was worth every penny. The End. P.S. Seriously though, if you're a lady with a serious hip to waist circumference differential, then you need this mattress. I like to sleep on my side sometimes and my back at other times. That means I need my mattress to be versatile; softness for my hips and shoulders, and support for my waist. My hard spring mattress was giving me back problems, and I'm only 21! Upgrading mattresses is definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made.

We are 4 months in now, and the mattress still smells. If you put your nose next to it, about 12 inches away, you can smell the off-gassing. It originally smelled much more strongly, and has gradually lessened. The first month, I had the windows open to air it out, but as the weather grew colder, I could not leave the windows open any longer... I recently also bought a Beauty Rest regular style mattress, and the "new mattress" smell was gone within less than a month. I'm concerned that the Purple mattress smell will maybe never go away... It's comfortable, about a "medium" as far as firmness goes. Overall, because of the smell I would not buy again. If the smell doesn't go away soon I may just get rid of it and buy another traditional-style mattress...

Sleeps cool. That was the main focus over every other factor. Bought it...It sleeps cool...Love it. Feels great. Not too firm. The support I feel, helps with the cooling, allowing air to move underneath you. You could say it is like a cooling rack of sorts. Not uncomfortable at all though as that might be interpretted. I wish it was actually purple though...That'd of been cool.

The bed is very very supportive, gives me the support I need in all the right places. However, it is a bit firmer than I'm used to, I'm a stomach and side sleeper. So I bought a breathable memory foam topper which makes it the most perfect bed for me! Thanks for being so supportive!
