We've had our king sized purple mattress for a few weeks now, and it's great. Very comfortable for both my wife and I and the kids love being tossed onto it too. Serious impact absorption; I can stand on the foot of the bed and do a face-plant version of a trust fall without experiencing any discomfort. Every other bed I've tried that on, my nose hurts at least. It's thinner than I expected, but you only notice it when looking at it. Lay down and you forget... possibly because you're almost immediately sleeping on the most comfortable thing you've experienced. My only complaint is that it is so hard to get out of bed in the morning... too comfy.

The mattress was delivered by annoying delivery guys that had terrible attitudes. They were angry that the bed was "So Heavy." That's your job. When the mattress arrived, it had grease stains on the outside cover. Couldn't sleep on that for health and safety reasons. I have an 8 month old that takes naps on our bed and I'm not risking her health. We have the mattress sitting against the wall, waiting for purple to send us the outside cover. At this point I may have to buy a different mattress. I'm angry and feel disappointed with the companies lack of progress with this problem. I called day one about the issue and sent pictures, but they considered this a warranty issue, which took time to process. Day 1 of owning and it's a warranty issue? Rather than an apology and rush shipping of a new cover. Since it's day 14, I will probably have to send this back and get my money back. Awaiting a response from customer service... Any day now.

I've only had my mattress for a little over a month and it's already beginning to sag/stay compressed where I sleep. It's on a wood platform so the foundation is fine, and I weigh less than 130 pounds. The instructions say to rotate once every six months but I might try that now to see if it helps. I'm still within the 100 days trial period and may unfortunately need to find something else. I've enjoyed all the other aspects - it gives firm support without painful pressure points when I sleep on my side, it stays cool, doesn't move around, etc. It does all the things promised except it's already caving in, which makes me wonder if I just happened to get a fluke.

We have only had it a few weeks; however, we are happy woth the purchase. Having back problems, a comfortable mattress is essential. As long as it holds up as advertised, I would strongly recommend it. I have a friend that may be purchasing one as well.

The purple mattress (king size) is very supportive and comfortable. We used our existing box springs as support and it works fine. The height (thickness) of the purple mattress is smaller than our previous mattress and the old mattress cover fits loosely. We plan on buying the mattress cover from purple and avoid the wrinkles.

I've got an original purple mattress being inspired by bold and witty advertisement and good reviews. The delivery took approximately 10 days and I was sleeping on this fluffy and comfortable mattress ever since. I love it, my sleep quality improved and as a result I started loosing weight! I highly recommend this product.

We named our bed. No, I'm not joking. I've never been IN LOVE with my bed before. The pillows are incredibly weird but they're ALSO incredible. We're both chronic pain sufferers, so this was an important purchase. Thank you, Purple, for the best sleep I've had in years. Big Friendly Purple Jellyfish makes our mornings much less painful.

I was a little hesitant to buy this bed due to the cost and I even downsized from a king to a queen because of the cost. I've been through several different mid-range (cost & quality) memory foam beds in my adult years but I'm definitely bummed that I didn't get the king size now! I was struggling a lot with back and sciatic pain every morning. I already owned an adjustable frame and it was time for my 2 year old Zinus mattress to go! I noticed a difference after the first night! I was still skeptical because one night doesn't guarantee anything! It's been about a month now and I'm still sleeping well and waking with NO pain in the morning! I'm more than pleasantly surprised! It seems like forever since I woke with no pain! The purple grid pattern is kind of cool. If you're weird about textures or being able to feel it through the mattress cover, you should try to test one first. I find it fun and soothing. The bed is soft yet firm. I almost don't even want to use my weighted blanket because it's almost as if it makes my body off balance for the mattress to work effectively. The sheets are genius with the full elastic around the fitted sheet. I don't love the flat sheet but that's just my personal preference. Still wish I would have gotten the king size! Maybe next time! ;)

I was on my way to the sleep number store when I ran into the Purple Bed online. Read the reviews, saw a U Tube video, and decided to give it a try. I read the reviews on how it has eliminated lower back pain and was a little sceptical. I have now had the bed for 2 months and can say my back pain in the morning is gone. I have recommended the bed to my friends. Great bed. Thanks.

I love it! It's what I hoped every expensive, or not, mattress, or sleep thing would always be. It has the perfect (for me, so far) combination of firm, yet squishy. Just Perfect! It feels engineered. I can perceive the effort and thought inside of it (maybe in the voids?). This is from a guy (me) very used to dealing with highly engineered thingys of all flavors. (** that's a compliment **) It's winter now and the next real test will come on the other side of our orbit, when my '60s home's lack of a/c will be much more material to me than it is now. Right now I've got a bedding sandwich consisting of: Purple mattress/Purple white fitted sheet/Purple white top sheet/comfy soft waffle weave blanket/grandma made flannel lined quilt made of MY OWN pre 1995 retired jeans. The bed is in the lower level of my split entry mid century home. While it does feel much cooler down there (vs upstairs) in Summer, some swampy summer scorchers will come every single year, and I'll be there, hopefully for eight sweat free restful hours. When it finally does gets hot, any kind of hot, I am making a kind of rare (for me) Optimistic prediction that this mattress will perform very, very well ( Exactly how well.....we'll see...stay tuned). I came to that prediction through two methods. One: The ventilated design by it's nature Seems to indicate a natural ventilation will occur. Of course, this is a guess. but I've got some wisdom, and I am using it here. Two: Until I decided to take my old mattress and put it inside a tent out in the snow, my bedding sandwich had one other item that had been on my old metal spring mattress (how old fashioned and gross, ick). That was my trusty mattress pad heater. This thing would warm up my bed before getting in, and sometimes through the night. It's just like a super warm (but healthy, and not contagious) entity had just gotten out, warming it up for you. It's so much better than getting into a COLD bed. Brrrrrr!! Awful. Booo! Anyway I did notice it took a much higher setting on my dial (0-10) to get the same warmth. A bummer, but as long as I just had to crank it up a bit, no biggie. But.... it does tell me that the same heat (my old dial setting) isn't effecting myself (my chilliness factor) as much.... therefore those Therms must (probably) be dissipating in the voids of Purple polymer, or some such engineering/science voodoo that I now trust, that you do so well. A + Purple *** :) I will have to find a appropriate pillow. My instinct with this mattress is to have none, but I need something to keep my head pointed to the sky (back sleeper, but side curious).
