My boyfriend and I love this mattress. All of my back pain went away. The first two nights were weird because there are no springs so it feels slightly different. But now, we both love it. Especially my boyfriend since he can't feel me get out of bed at night.

My back feels great, but my shoulders are really hurting - the mattress dips where my shoulder goes in but pushes the rest of my arm up so it's pinched. Not sure if that's the full explanation, but we're not sleeping well and we wake up hurting. Lower back problems, however, have improved.

Purple has given me Life again! With our old mattress, I would wake up with such back pain I couldn't even stand, I would have crawl and stretch on the floor till I could get up! Im only 29 and went to the hospital twice in one year due to my back problems! Purple gives my back the support it needs, while also providing soft comfort to fit my husbands preferences. we love it! (Now we can actually snuggle )

This is my 3rd purple mattress that I have purchased. Our 1st was lost in a fire and we loved it so we bought another one king size this time period and then when it was time for our son to get a new bed we bought him a full size. Hes only 6 years old but he finally sleep in his own bed! Very comfortable and cool. He would sweat alot on the other memory foam mattress. This is is worth every single penny!

So we've only been using the mattress for about 15 days and it's ok. I really want to love it! We had a pillow top before which was soft but over time it was dipping and so we wanted something a little firmer. So far the Purple is a lot firmer so I keep waking up throughout the night since I'm not as comfortable. I don't wake up sore though. My husband said he'd like it a little softer but it's not effecting his sleep.

Didn't realize that my conventional mattress was my problem with getting a solid nights sleep, I felt it was a health problem. Bought a purple queen original mattress cause I was due a new mattress, conventional mattress was about 10 years old and I had seen nothing but positive reviews on Purple, bought it, glad I did. About 2 nights it took to get accustomed to it and I sleep through the night now except maybe 1 to use the bathroom, I was waking 4-5 times a night. Thanks Purple for a awesome product/mattress.

We bought the mattress for our daughter and she sleeps like a rock on it! Keeps her from getting too hot at night and coming into our bed. I understand why they have the "newer" models. The mattress is still comfortable, but it feels like you're sinking all the way through it.

The Purple deserves every bit of hype it gets. After being on a terrible mattress for years and waking up with constant back pain, I can honestly say purple has changed my life. Hardly any back pain now and I sleep feeling refreshed every morning. Oh and by the way I have the regular mattress so I can't imagine how good the hybrids are.

To begin, the shipping and arrival of the mattress was seamless. The bag it arrived in kept the mattress protected, and it expanded perfectly once opened (to my child's delight). There was a little odor and off-gassing the first 2 days. The real surprise was how firm this mattress is. I'm a side sleeper, which is why we purchased a Purple to begin with. The first few days my neck and hips were a bit sore because the mattress was so firm. However, after a week my body adjusted. I found that I needed to purchase a new pillow to help with the neck stiffness. This is definitely a firm, supportive mattress, and now that I've adjusted, I really like it. My husband sleeps on his back and loves the support.

The mattress works great for anyone sleeping on their back or stomach since there's excellent weight distribution. I sleep on my side, and my shoulders are a little wider than my hips, so I sink right through the comfy soft layer and rest on the firm layer. That means I end up with a sore shoulder from the pressure frequently, or I end up with a sore back if I twist my spine to take pressure off my shoulder. My wife loves the mattress, though, and that's the most important thing.
