Restless nights, borderline chronic back pain, tired and fatigued all the time became the norm ... amplified by having a toddler around. We'd debated getting Purple for a while, but after nearly 3 weeks of having an achy back and stiff neck, we thought we'd give it a shot. It has quickly become one of the best investments we've made. The mattress is comfortable but supportive and after two days my back felt infinitely better. Three weeks in and the stiff neck is gone! Even if we have to get up a couple times a night we feel much more rested in the morning. Our little kiddo is fascinated by the purple squishy that came with the mattress too. Yay science! The only area I am unsure of is if it is actually 'cooler' than other mattresses. I overheat easily at night and so far the difference in that department has been marginal. Still ... 5 stars!

I've had the original Purple Pillow for 5 entire years. Maybe more, I've had no issues, no pain, the pillow has never sagged or been deformed. It's always felt the same within those 5 years, I've never felt the pillow loose stretchyness or durability or anything, the only thing that has really happened to it is it's a bit pale now. Just now, I got a harmony pillow and have slept on it for about a week now. It was a bit hard to get used to it but one huge thing I've noticed about switching from the original pillow to the harmony one is I've fallen asleep faster and I've had a lot more dreams. I used to only have like 2 dreams per week and now I dream every night. I've also never had any nightmares so I think these pillows definitely work. I also got the soft stretch sheets and I love the Morning Mist color. And I'm really surprised by how silky and stretchy they feel. They're really smooth, but sweat doesn't pool up in them. Lastly, I got a Mattress. Just the normal one. The package was delayed for 4 days because of some weird barcode issue but that's FedEx's fault. Anyways, all the stuff on their website saying how it cradles your pressure points and everything is true. I recently had my first deadlift, and my back really hurt a few hours after it, but after a night on the mattress, the pain was completely gone. And one of the craziest thing about their products is the packaging. The box for the sheets and mattress protector is like a full on museum display. The box even has built in magnets, samples and the sheets comes with this really nice little bag that's made out of the sheet material. Now, I remember so many people talking about the white powder in some of the products like 5 years ago. When we got the pillow 5 years ago, there was that weird powder in it, but it wasn't a big deal. We just washed it out with water, let it dry for a night and it was fine the next morning. No big deal, I haven't gotten some weird powder disease in the 5 years I've slept on the pillow. And I think they fixed the issue with the powder since all the new products that I received don't have that powder. So yeah, great products, great company, beautiful designs. I 100% recommend it to people who are lighter or more average weight.

I've had difficulty sleeping for a long time now, not feeling like I'm getting enough support in my back. I have a lot of back issues from multiple car accidents over the years. When we set up our Purple mattress, I laid on it for less than 5 minutes, and my back relaxed so much that when I stood up and my back contracted again, my SI joint locked! I couldn't bend over the rest of the day. My last 2 weeks of sleep have been the best of my life as my back slowly learns how to actually relax when I sleep. Thank you Purple!

The first night sleeping on the Purple mattress was amazing. It feels more like a real mattress compared to our old waterbed (which was almost waveless). My hubby lay down pretty hard, then it hit me....I never even felt the mattress move! Whoa. We consider this mattress to be firm (again, compared to our waveless waterbed), yet your body sinks into it and is cradled by it. There is a definite cool sensation. It took a few seconds to get used to it and warm up. Every night I used to wake up many times, due to pain, needing to reposition, and being horribly hot and sweaty (sorry about being so graphic). I'd have to remove the covers and cool off. For the first time, I didn't have to do any of that. I did wake up once to lay on my side, but immediately fell back to sleep. I suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and insomnia. For the first time in my memory, I woke up without that 'I wish I could sleep, I'm so tired I hurt" feeling. I also purchased a Purple pillow. Purple pillows are 3" deep. Since we've had the waterbed since dinosaurs roamed the earth, I'm used to a flat pillow (regular pillows are hard on the neck on waterbeds), so that wasn't an issue. My Purple pillow is defective, and they're sending a replacement. I'm using it anyway, and even in its present condition, it's awesome. It's all scrunched up and curled on one end, so I'm sure the replacement will be softer, lol. It really does support the neck, and your head sinks in just right. It is amazingly comfortable. Happily, my hubby loves the mattress, as well. I understand this mattress is a love/hate item, but I truly do not understand why anyone would hate it.

Having just been pregnant and recovering from surgeries, I didn't get much sleep on the hospital beds. Once we got out mattress, I was able to finally get some great sleep!! I can't thank Purple enough for creating such an amazing product! I've already told my family they need to join the Purple family with a mattress of their own.

Having fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis and making the switch to a purple mattress is the best thing I've done in a while for my sleep. Also having a partner that's a heavy sleeper who toss an turns and constantly causing you to wake up has got better also. You really don't notice how much movement someone feels in a regular mattress when someone gets in and out of bed until you change. I can finally sleep and not feel like I got beat up the night before. Love this mattress!!

I love my mattress!! I'd been having shoulder pain and just couldn't get comfortable in my old bed. I sleep so great now!! I have chronic insomnia, and the mattress and pillow are helping me slowly lower my medicine dosage. The platform was easy to set up and the mattress is light which helps putting on sheets. I got the seat cushion and lumbar support for my dad and he says it's the best support for when he drives!!

So I purchased the new Purple 2 mattress and got the free sheets. I was on pins and needles for almost 2 weeks waiting on it to be delivered and finally it came. The delivery company called 30 min before they arrived (like they said they would) and I met them at my apartment. The 2 gentlemen were very friendly and nice. They unpacked it, set it up, and took all of the trash away. Great! Exactly what I expected. I was so excited it was finally here that I laid right down on it and it was like I was in heaven. I could feel the bed give slightly under my weight (I am a 260lb stomach sleeper) but I did not sink in. It was soft and so very supportive. I had to convince myself to get up and go back to work. That night when I got ready for bed, I put the sheets on. They are soooooo soft and had plenty of stretch in them. And for FREE!!!! A perfect match. I laid in the bed and again was cradled like a baby. Normally I toss and turn all night, but not this night. I rolled over onto my stomach and was quickly OUT! I slept all night and did not move a bit. It was great! Best sleep in FOREVER! And back pain.....? What back pain? I have 2 bulging disks in my lower back that normally KILL me after a long night sleep. Not today! Good as new! I have to say that this mattress and sheets and really this entire experience has been great! It is pretty expensive, but take my word for it, it is WORTH EVERY PENNY! And to top it off, I got on today to write this review and saw they are now also giving away a free seat cushion with a bed! Chatted with the WONDERFUL agent Whitney and got hooked up with that too!! I get to be excited all over again! Can't wait to go to bed tonight and every night for a long long time!

Over a hundred days, and I'm loving my new Purple queen. It is well constructed and is holding up nicely. It sleeps pretty firm, but this was a nice change from my pillow top. Seems a bit too firm for my wife, but she hasn't had any major complaints. All in all, we're very pleased with our new mattress.

My spouse (whom is a side-sleeper) would rate this bed at around a 2, whereas I would put it at a 4 or 5. It's very comfortable and feels like you're floating when you lay on your back, but if you try put all your weight on your side, you end up sinking straight through the purple layer and into the foam, which is extremely hard. We will be upgrading to the Purple Premier Hybrid 3" in the hopes that it will be deep enough to prevent these issues.
