I've had my purple mattress for possibly 2 years already and switched from a sleep number (still have it in storage because sleep numbers basically last forever) . It didn't make any difference in my quality of sleep and I DON"T wake up refreshed and energized. That is just sales hype. MY 62 years taught me most mattresses are about the same and NO mattress can make you sleep better. All mattress adds are full of HYPE. Sitting on the edge is really awkward because it seems too soft and can't support you. OH, AND I REALLY HATE THAT IT WEIGHS A TON. IT IS TOO HARD TO MOVE AROUND OR EVEN TUCK SHEETS UNDER! When it arrived all I could do was roll it into the garage and wait for some strong young men to carry it up to the bedroom. Giving it 2 stars because of the hype and the weight of it. I don't really care if eggs don't break on it, bottom line is that I just want a good night's sleep!

We had two of these beds. It could be our imagination, but the second one seemed more comfortable. Overall I like the bed and sleep well. I love how it feels when you kneel, sit, or lean as the it's very absorbent to the pressure. It's about 90% what I want--but better than our previous mattress.

I looked at this bed a long time. Probably since they very first came out and have wanted one.. I've been sleeping on a very expensive mattress with adjustable pressures for 11 years and had been ready to throw it out forabout that long. Well it finally blew up and i was a little excited. I couldn't rationalize spending the money otherwise. I am 30 but suffer from chronic pain due to chronic lymes disease. I have arthritis in my hips, low back, hands, scoliosis and a slipped disk in my neck. I have actually stopped taking my night time muscle relaxer wake up with almost no pain and i sleep threw the night for the first time in years!!!!I'm about 5"4" 140lb. My boyfriend will sleep on it too and he is 6 foot 230lb his only statement was the top texture was weird initially which ok I'll give him that due to the pockets. But honestly it doesnt seem to bother either of us bc we fall asleep very quickly. He is a stomach and back sleeper.

The perfect mattress. When I lay it feels like I don't sink at all. I had experienced lower back pain from memory foam because it would dip. No dipping issues at all with the Purple mattress. Definitely one of the best investments I have made for my health.

We bought a T&N bed and we liked it but honestly..it was a bit "hot" for us. I would wake up once a night. I think some people don't have an issue with them...from what I hear...and it was comfortable but we were told of Purple by my sister and brother in law and they loved it. It was a bit more but the technology behind it and the fact it is not hot sold us on it. We've been sleeping on it now for like 3 weeks and I have not woken up 1x at night. It's not hot at all...it's super comfortable and supportive. My wife likes it a lot too. We are really happy and glad we switched...even though it cost more...it was and is worth it. I have had my king size Purple mattress for 2 months and am happy with it. The first week or two it felt too hard and I was cold as I was used to a soft, saggy old mattress and being hot. I did get used to the hardness and coolness after a few weeks and am now sleeping better than I have in ages. My back and hips feel were killing me every morning with my old mattress and I am feeling so much better now. I don't feel my husband moving around anymore as the Purple mattress is so much more quiet and still.

Can't wait for the pillows to come out! The bed sleeps great! I love it! You don't sink in so far that it's to hard to move, but you feel supported. The cutter that came to open the bed broke before we got it open, so we had to use a knife. Also, if your a petite person, you might need help moving it, it's quite heavy(as all memory foam mattresses are)

It's only been a couple of weeks, but I am sleeping better on this mattress than previous mattresses. I preferred firm mattresses in the past so was surprised when this softish mattress worked so well for me. In addition, it is easy to lift to make the beds.

I had been saving to get this mattress for a year and it was worth every single penny! I was suffering from neck and lower back pain which was affecting my sleep causing headaches throughout the next day. My very first night with the Purple mattress was incredible! My pain decreased significantly! Now after almost 2 months I cant even remember when was the last time i woke up with pain. Thanks everyone at Purple!

we reviewed several mattresses and after going over all the information decided on the Purple. What a great choice. We have slept soundly from night one! My husband sleeps on his back and I sleep on my side - both of us felt very comfortable. My only wish is that the King size top sheet was a little wider, it gets tangled quickly.
