I have been wanting a purple for years now. I finally got one and wish I had gotten it sooner. I have had a VERY hard time sleeping but this mattress helped tremendously. It is different from other beds, but you adjust really fast. I also bought the pillows which I am also very happy with. They seem really heavy but then when you lay your head down its perfect. If you are on the fence, just do it. It's the best bed I have ever had.

We've had this mattress for a month so far. Unfortunately we're not happy with it. I have not slept a full night for the last several months and we bought this based on the reviews thinking we would finally get a good night's sleep. But nope. We fell into this hype and are very disappointed with the 'stiffness". We did not feel that 'oomph" that we were hoping to get from this mattress. We are now working on returning this mattress and going with a Posturpedic Hybrid that only costs $300 more than this. Remember folks, you get what you paid for. Thank goodness for the 100 day money back guarantee. 30 days definitely did not work for us.

So the first couple nights I was like omg what did i do this is not for me!!! I was sore etc BUT that was just my body adjusting to the new awesomeness! I seriously love getting into bed now and I don't get woke up by my husband getting in and out of bed or moving around. Totally worth the switch and the money! Thank you purple!

I ordered a king platform base two years ago and I absolutely love the higher height of it! So much storage space under the bed! Then I ordered two more queen sized platforms and they are about 2-3 inches lower! Why did they change it! I bought a bunch of rubbermaid containers to store underneath and now I have to return them all because they won't fit! I'm very disappointed in this change!

Night 1 review. I'm a woman in the middle of perimenopause (hot flashes and night sweats), and I also have scoliosis in the lower vertebrae of my spine. I suffered a herniated disc 12 years ago, and thankfully that hasn't recurred, but back, shoulder and neck pain has. I am mostly a back sleeper, with occasional side sleeping. WOW!! My first night left me in almost zero pain, even with finding myself sleeping on my side. First ever! And only a tiny bit of heat (only my bum so I have started again taking Black Cohosh to nip that in the bud cuz it is perimenopause and not the mattress), so I expect no issues for Night 2. I will review again closer to Night 100. Oh - and the sheets are divine!

This is the second Purple mattress that my wife and I have bought. The first one is more of the purple material as opposed to this one that has more memory foam on top. Our first mattress is absolutely amazing, it's nice and cool and feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. This one you can tell there's memory foam and it doesn't cool you off nearly as much as the older one; I don't wake up feeling as refreshed with this one as I do with the older mattress. That is why I give this a 3.

I was quite hesitant to get this bed. Not just in the price, but the more I read, the more I wasn't sure if it was for me. My spouse decided it was, guessing tired of me complaining and tossing and turning all through the night. With the trial, there was no risk. And in the end... what a great investment! Immediately, I found myself way more comfortable in the bed and after a couple months now, that hasn't changed. I find myself in the same position through the night and wake way less sore than before. For me, a 49-year old, 6'0, 175#, medium build male with some neck and lower back issues, I have struggled for years with getting decent sleep. This mattress has clearly helped change that!

I have had this wonderful mattress since October. This is what I can say. My previous mattress was 14 years old and the pillow top cushioning had moved and folded because of moving the mattress several times. When I received the Purple mattress I was elated to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it is. I'm use to a soft mattress and like to be cradled when I sleep so I will say that the Purple mattress feels different just in a good way. It's soft to the point that I sink in a little and yet underneath that layer I can feel the supportive layer that hugs my curves without pressure points. It did take me awhile to start sleeping without a wedge pillow under my legs to help with back pain. My body had to adjust to how the mattress felt before I could sleep without my legs propped up and now my back pain is gone and I sleep flat. I'm a back sleeper most the time and the Purple mattress is great for that. When I do sleep on my side I wasn't sure how much of a difference it made till after a over night stay in a hotel and waking up with shoulder, hip, and back pain. Sleep on my side on the Purple mattress I wake with no pain and my arms don't fall asleep any more. I love the Purple mattress!! My dog even begs to sleep on the bed so Purple please make a Purple dog bed!!

I'm disabled and spend a fair amount of time in my bed. I've searched my whole life for a comfortable mattress, and I had high hopes for memory foam, until I bought one. Too hot, too mushy. Yuk. I recently bought an adjustable bed frame with a purported "cooling technology" and edge support with a 101 day no risk trial. It wasn't any better than the regular memory foam mattresses, and fortunately I realized it in time to take them up on the guarantee. Then I found a Purple Store, and I was sold! I bought a wall hugging adjustable base from a store in Virginia. I bought the Purple mattress online after appreciating the helpful, low pressure sales person in the store, who suggested that I fill in my order and think about it, so it only took a click to order. That was a refreshing experience after the several other mattress stores I went to, where they were worse than a used car salesmen who badmouthed brands they didn't carry. I'd read that you know right away if Purple was for you, and in my case, that's exactly what happened. I wish they'd work a bit on their advertising, because Purple mattresses are so much better than memory foam, but the ads don't do it justice. I need edge support and can't tolerate pressure points, and the Purple mattress takes care of those issues better than anything I've tried, and it doesn't have the hot, mushy feel of memory foam. If you want a mushy mattress, the thicker Purple mattresses can accommodate your needs, but I need a firmer mattress and the least expensive one fits my needs perfectly. I suggest trying a Purple mattress in person, before buying a mattress online like I did, because memory foam is memory foam, and it's more expensive (or was in my case), and difficult to return. Once you try Purple, you'll probably love it like I do!

Our new mattress is a much-needed and very comfortable change. However, we got our new mattress at the same time as we moved into our first house, so the stress of adjusting to that has made it difficult to assess a full night of sleep. I love that it doesn't move when someone gets on or off, but having said that, my spouse rolled off of their side last night and I didn't know until they landed on the floor! I love sleeping on it when I can be uninterrupted, and I no longer wake up with my shoulder on fire, since switching to the Purple mattress and pillow.
