I purchased the Purple mattress with great expectations. I was replacing an older sleep number mattress which was very uncomfortable. I found the Purple Mattress to be much too hard. The top layer isn't thick enough and my body sank into the hard under layer. Customer service was terrific and took care of removing the mattress and gave me a fast refund.

This has been the best mattress ive ever purchased ...I had terrible hip and lower back pain due to my last bed, So i only had the bed for 3 days and all my pain went away its honestly the best bed in the world ITs not to firm and not to soft ....Ive been recommending this bed to everyone....

Long story short, we have a split king adjustable bed and I am an extreme case when comes to finding a mattress due to Chronic Back Pain. Our 7th mattress\sleep system in the last 10 years. We purchased 2 Twin XL PURPLE Mattresses which completes a Split King adjustable bed. I personally only lasted 3 nights and went back to my recliner where I have slept 9 out of 10 nights for the last decade. My wife LOVES her Purple mattress and I would even say to me the mattress is supper softer, the cover is super soft, very well made product. So like many mattresses we had the conversation, and she flat out refused to give up her Purple mattress, in her opinion hands down the best mattress out of the last 7. I contacted the Purple mattress refund department and of course was like can I get a refund for 1 of the 2 mattresses which they happily agreed to. The refund was 100% hassle free, refund was in my account on day 4 after completing the donation form. Needless to say my split king now has 2 different mattresses for each side of the bed. I would recommend Purple to anyone even folks who suffer back pain as the reason for back pain can be caused by many different things (I have to have 100% control of firmness on any given day, you have nothing to lose but a few weeks of your time for delivery. The refund from the purple mattress paid for the mattress I replaced it with.

I don't think it's a bad mattress just not as good as it seemed to be. Don't like the purple part it's too firm and I feel stiff sleeping on it. The purple top forms to you're body but I always remember to feel the texture of it and always feel conscious about it. Over all not that bad but not what I expected considering the price .

As I side sleeper I was getting aches in my shoulders and hips. The Purple mattress came to my rescue and helped me sleep comfortably again. And every interaction with the Purple people has been an enjoyable experience, including order processing and customer support. Thanks, Purple!

I was so excited to get my Original Purple mattress. It was extremely heavy, but once I got it on the bed frame, I couldn't wait to sleep on it. My first night was "different" because I had been so use to my standard spring mattress, but the second night I really started feeling the difference. It allows air to flow and keep me cool during the night and the whole bed doesn't move when I move. I have found I am sleeping deeper which is amazing since I use to wake up every little bit.

I was a little apprehensive buying as I'd not been able to try in a store but the sleep I'm greeting now is vastly improved over what I'd been experiencing the last 3-4 years. It did take a couple of nights to get used to it but since then it's been wonderful. Ive already recommended to some friends.

I like to not think about things... for them to just work so well they slip into the back of my mind so I can worry on important things like the effects of gravity on relativistic time dilatation. And this mattress does just that I sleep well, and am happy. I got the whole set... frame, bed, mattress protector, sheets, pillows and am set. Thank you.

To begin, the shipping and arrival of the mattress was seamless. The bag it arrived in kept the mattress protected, and it expanded perfectly once opened (to my child's delight). There was a little odor and off-gassing the first 2 days. The real surprise was how firm this mattress is. I'm a side sleeper, which is why we purchased a Purple to begin with. The first few days my neck and hips were a bit sore because the mattress was so firm. However, after a week my body adjusted. I found that I needed to purchase a new pillow to help with the neck stiffness. This is definitely a firm, supportive mattress, and now that I've adjusted, I really like it. My husband sleeps on his back and loves the support.

We got the mattress because my husband wasn't sleeping through the night on our old one. However now I wake up every morning with back pain and struggle to fall asleep. So it helped my husband but now I am miserable. We can't figure out exactly how the bed "works" or is beneficial in comfort. Not a huge fan of the pillows either. They are waaaaay too flat. I need fluff.
