We bought the Purple mattress back in April and have not looked back since! Before Purple, we were sleeping on a foam mattress that did little for us. Yes, it was squishy, but it added no back support. After receiving and sleeping on the Purple mattress for about 1 week, we were worried why they bed did not feel as comfy as the ads made it out to be. We then did some research and found out that it takes some time for your back to heal and undo the horrible effects of the foam mattress. We finally got used to the mattress after 3 weeks. Now, after 8 months of use, I can truly say how amazing my sleep and comfort is on the Purple mattress!! Love it and will continue to tell all my friends and family about the best mattress ever!

It's honestly a really nice mattress. Super comfy. Perfect inbetween of firm and soft. BUT I wish they used a better shipping company that wasn't fedex because my mattress was on the truck for a week after the specified arrival date until I got it settled with fedex

I HATE this mattress. A year and a half ago, we bought the purple.3 and I didn't like it, so we exchanged it for the purple.4 because it was supposed to be softer. I was pregnant when we made the exchange, so we kept the bed because I thought that I was uncomfortable because of pregnancy. My husband loves the bed. (But he also loved the beds in the barracks). We now have a 4 month old and this bed isn't any more comfortable. My shoulders have never been so knotted up in my life. Massage and physical therapy are not helping at all because I come back to this bed every night. We've ended up buying a memory foam mattress topper. If you're splurging on buying a bed, I wouldn't recommend splurging on this one if you don't know what the grid system feels like. If you love your current memory foam mattress, stick with buying another memory foam. I'm sorry Purple, I really wanted to like you...

The mattress is good but I don't like that I have to keep searching for a good spot and now I am having so much pain starting with my neck, back, ribs, shoulders, hips and my legs wake up restless, it's getting so bad I don't know what to do cause I can't afford a new bed right now, alsoI didn't kinda like the foundation of the bed it's pretty cheapish for what you spend for, it's more stylish than comfortable and I sleep on my back, side and stomach so I don't know.

Emmy husband and I fell in love with this mattress immediately. Now that I'm pregnant, I have an even greater appreciation for it. I can lay in any position comfortably and feel supported. I haven't even needed to have a positioning pillow. I am thankful for this purchase every single day.

I'm 81 years old disabled spine & legs..Was in the market for a new mattress when my nurse suggested the PURPLE! Glad she did! When I first lay down on it this was how it felt to me! Didn't sink in, didn't feel like I was sleeping on a hardwood floor... It was as if hands were gently holding me in the air! I slept the whole nite! I have never felt a mattress so comfortable as the Purple. The free sheets felt like a soft caress...Your products are just WOW! Have suggested to some of my friends with & without disabilities to purchase. I bought a Purple queen mattress in the hope that it would alleviate my chronic low back and hip pain. I'm sleeping better than I have in decades and my pain is almost gone when I wake up in the morning. I also love the stretchy sheets. Great products, marketing and delivery.....I couldn't be happier!

I've had my new mattress for 3 -4 weeks. My old mattress sagged in the middle after only a few weeks, so I had to get a new one but didn't want the old kind of mattress especially now that they don't have 2 sides for flipping. So far, no more body aches and pains. So hope it lasts a long time. Thanks Purple. Also return of pillow was fairly easy, except my printer doesn't work any more so had my son print and ship. Got refund in good time.

My wife and I opened this up and the kids put it together for us. My wife said it feels like the other bed. About a week later I noticed she sleeps all night now compared to waking up early. She loves it. I am a side sleeper and just had back surgery. It is a great mattress. Supportive where it needs to be and my shoulders don't go to sleep and ache in the middle of the night like the old mattress.

We like a firm, but somewhat gushy mattress. We had a viscoelastic purchased in 2009 that we were very happy with. But with two people sleeping in an aging queen mattress and a pushy dog in the middle we were falling off the sides. We did a ton of research, had settled on three companies, and ultimately took a chance on purple. What was the peril with a 100-day no-risk return policy right? Before we even got the mattress we did run into some problems with scheduled delivery. Part of the problem was poor communication from Purple, but much of it was also due to really terrible customer service from the shipper, FedEx. Long story short, a customer service person from Purple noticed our problem in the call log, took it upon herself to power manage our troubles and solved it without any work or stress on our part. I think this speaks quite well to the values instilled by the company - solve the problem and take the initiative to do it. As for the mattress itself, it's a total keeper. As advertised, it offers pressure-point relief, but also a spring-back quality that makes rolling over much less of an effort than with other foam mattresses. The construction also seems of exceptional quality. Deciding on the best bed is hugely subjective, but I think lots of people would be happy with Purple.
