its a nice quality mattress. Not bouncy, not too soft or hard. It does help cradle your pressure points well. I do fall asleep faster on this mattress than any other mattress I have slept on. Very comfortable, especially with how quickly the bed responds to your body movement. Only day 10 or so with the mattress.

Once upon a time there was a prince and princess who couldn't agree on a mattress. The prince was used to sleeping on the horrible beds while aboard a submarine and performed to sleep on a soft pillow when ever he could. The princess however needed support for her painful back. She couldn't sleep on the soft beds the prince wanted. So they traveled the land insearch of a bed. However they found the pricing and comfortability to be lacking.Then one day a traveling saleswoman told them about purple. A magical sleeping device. The prince and princess were interested and thought that the low price was worth a shot compared to the higher prices the had seen. When the magic roll appeared they hastened to place it on their bed and since then the two have slept happily ever after. Now, to get the prince to stop snoring.... but that is a story for another time.

From other reviews i had some fears. But the mattress was clean/smelled good right away. My only complaint is it is crazy heavy. It it quite difficult to manuver around, I used to love the softness of foam mattresses, but the purple mattress is soft, with solid support. It is pretty awesome.

I'm a big guy (260) and have lower back problems from being a mechanic for almost my entire working life. This mattress gives me the support I need to get a great nights sleep. We've had it 3/4 months and there is no sagging or deformation at all. Best sleep ever.

We bought the purple bed and the platform base. The platform base is super easy to setup. For the first few days the platform base was quiet and held up to what "purple" advertised it would do. Week 2 and the platform base squeaks with any movement on the bed any turning and platform squeaks. It's annoying now and makes the whole experience of the purple bed not enjoyable. Too make things worse it says that the platform base has no returns, maybe we just got a defective one because I have seen raving reviews on the platform base.

The mattress came in a week or so, and was easy to unpack by myself. I bought a twin XL. So far, the mattress is sturdy, yet comfortable. Some reviewers say that the mattress isn't comfortable for side sleepers, but I have to disagree. I sleep very well!

Our mattress took longer than expected to deliver. We ended up getting the frame that is super heavy duty and yes is very well built. We had received the mattress and frame a week apart which stinks cause I wanted to lay on it but had to wait another week to get rest of bed after waiting a long time to get the first part of it. I am still waiting on the pillows. As for comfort it is OK it is not what was expected. The mattress seemed very much like laying on several gym mats. The frame looks and feels like it'll be built for life. (Very nice quality) if anything I would change... I would have shipped the bed out together so the customer didn't have to wait for all the pieces to show up.

My husband and I purchased the Original Purple mattress November 2018. I have hip pressure point problems and am a side sleeper. My husband gets occasional back pain and sleeps in any position. Since we received our Purple Mattress neither one of us has had any pain sleeping. This is the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on and we are in our 60's. I would highly recommend this mattress.

I am very happy with the Purple mattress! I was worried about ordering it online without trying it out first but I am extremely satisfied with this mattress. My husband loves it too! We are bigger people and this mattress supports us very very well. I don't wake up with back pain anymore! It supports my hips, back, and shoulders really well! I sleep much much better and feel rested after waking up. It's so worth getting, I recommend this mattress to everyone.

I've been a stomach and side-sleeper ever since I was a kid. I honestly tried hard to make other mattresses work, but I always woke up with my hips or shoulders aching. I'm only twenty-seven! After the first four weeks of adjustment, I now go to sleep almost the instant I touch my Purple mattress. No joint pain, lots of deep sleep cycles. There is just the right amount of squish on top and solid support underneath. I'll never buy another kind of mattress again.
