I have had my bed two weeks now and can't say enough good things about it. The entire process was effortless. The marketing for the company is as good as the mattress. Everything came in the coolest packaging ever. Speaking of cool, the bed is the best I've ever slept on for coolness. It moves air very well. No more hot nights.

I bought my first purple mattress for a second bedroom of mine earlier this year. I loved it so much, I just had to have one for my king-sized bed in my master bedroom. I do not feel as "old" when I wake up in the mornings (fewer creaks and cracks and pains). For anyone with neck, back or hip pain, I highly recommend you give Purple a try!

when I 1st received this (the ultimate) I thought what am I going to do with this? it's huge, but after using it I am so glad that I bought it I love how comfortable this cushion is. I have ankylosing spondylitis and horrible back pain. Now I can actually sit for some periods and get crafts done with out aggravating other symptoms. Now my husband wants one!

I was very skeptical and nervous about getting this bed. I researched and waited about 6 months before biting the bullet. This bed is EVERYTHING they promised!!! I've had three different mattresses in the last three years and the Purple is my fourth! I don't have any major issues other than a lack of comfortable mattresses, and sleeping on my side had started to cause pinching in the spine. I also had to use a pillow between my knees coupled with a lot of tossing and turning. My first night on the Purple mattress, and it's all gone!!! I can sleep on my side with no spine pinch. I don't even think about using a pillow between the knees, which is not something I thought had anything to do with my mattress! I also sleep on my back way more as this mattress hugs every curve rather than pushing against them. Instant pressure relief. Night five and I know I definitely don't need 100 days, this is the mattress I've been looking for. Thank you....THANK YOU.....PURPLE!!!!!!!! Oh AND....I should mention the sheets. I didn't want to give up my expensive, lovely sheets but they recommended stretchy. I ordered Purple's and wow. So stretchy, and WAY better than jersey/t-shirt sheets. These are more silky or something, and they don't feel like they will ball up like a jersey sheet. I'm ordering a second pair. I know I read like an advertisement, but I'm just that excited. I read a number of negative reviews and was scared I would end up like one of them. Nope! -Karla-

This is two reviews in one!! Bought the Purple kickstarter deal, Queen mattress w/ 2 pillows. Being hard in beds, destroying them within the first year, he has found his match!! He now can sleep ! So we just bought him the platform and a Queen mattress for me! Ahhh...do I really have to get out of bed? Soooo comfy! Yes! Highly recommend a Purple mattress!

I was very hesitant to switch from our Sleep Number to the Purple. Wow! I could have not been more surprised! I have never slept better than on the Purple. I have many nights now where I wake up in the morning and I am in the exact same position I was when I fell asleep. 10/10! Highly recommend!!!

I bought a purple mattress because I was in the market and really needed one for a bad back. At the recommendation of a friend and reviews on the internet (not from Purple's website) I decided to go with a purple mattress. The purple does take a few nights to get used to. The first few days to week I didn't sleep too well. However, I've had it about a month now and have noticed on my sleep tracker that I consistently get more deep sleep than I used to. Additionally my back doesn't hurt anymore when I get up (like on my old mattress). I have started having shoulder pain though. Now I'm not sure if this is because of my massive purse (I feel like I've added more to it recently) or the mattress. My shoulder did not used to hurt so consistently though. If I sleep on my back, I'm fine. (I can go between side sleeping and back sleeping, side sleeping being my natural go to). The mattress is both soft and firm. I have no other way to explain it. I like it. You get the cushy feeling of a memory foam (though not hot) with the firmness needed for support. I have a couple more months on my free trial and I'm honestly not sure what direction I'll go as far as keeping it or not. Delivery was a breeze but I had to dead man haul it into my apartment solo - not something I would recommend. You definitely need help setting it up (Queen size mattress, decent sized female). Relatively easy set up with two people.

Had it for a month and am disappointed at just how firm it is. I'm a side sleeper/ occasional back sleeper. I definitely thought my head would sink in way more but It barely makes a dent. Even on my back, my head does not feel supported by how little it sinks in. I ended up flipping it to the insert side, which helps. But it doesn't live up to the purple jelly technology I was expecting. Which is misleading because when you feel the pillow with your hand, you'd think the weight of your head would have a similar effect. The edges of the pillow sink in a bit more but obviously that's not practical long term, so I'm hoping the harmony pillow will be better suited for me.

I bought this bed because the only way for me to wake up without lower back pain in my old bed was to sleep (on my back) on a rolled up towel. That was the only way to get enough lumbar support. but now with my original purple mattress, I no longer have to sleep on a rolled up towel every night - and I still wake up without any lower back pain. My wife was skeptical of getting the mattress. She is a side sleeper and was waking up with hip pain most days. Starting the first night she slept on the Purple mattress: no hip pain! Now there is at least one instance where my wife acknowledges that I was right!

Haven't slept on it for a full 90 days but all of my body parts are feeling just fine so far. I don't see why that would change. When purchasing any sleeping surface, I have to be very conscience of my lower back - too hard or too soft causes pain. Purple hasn't caused any back pain yet and the mattress feels great!
