My old bed was pillowtop and was fluffy and cozy. But I literally had to roll out onto the floor first and struggle to stand up with lower back pain. I have honestly woken up early every Morning and raring to go for the day. No back pain at all! I even recommended to my sister-in-law who just received hers yesterday.

Great for my hip when sleeping on my side, almost no pressure at all! The mattress has also very low movement for couples almost never felt my husband get out of bed and I am a very light sleeper. I am lightweight so when sleeping on my back and stomach though I would have some lower back pain. Very interesting and soft feel of the mattres.

I think my biggest letdown was, somehow I thought this process would be easier than the old way. Easy is going to the mattress store, ordering a mattress and having people come in a truck, take it inside and set it up for you on a frame. I've done it and it was less expensive. Sadly, this was a horrible process. Getting the 140 pound mattress into our bedroom (WITHOUT the frame which came 2 weeks later) was crazy. Then, setting up the bed frame and then getting the mattress off of the floor and onto it (after putting the frame together, yay) was was ridiculous. So... it all seems fine but I never would have done it knowing what I now know.

No lie, this mattress is one of the best investments I have ever made. I now sleep, on average, 13% more soundly. In the month since I installed my mattress I have become a better, more productive human being and I am now training for triathlons when I am not running the company I finally had the mental focus to start. Thanks Purple, your ridiculously comfy mattress has changed my life.

If you have a larger figure and weigh close to or over 250lbs, this mattress is not for you. I am now on my 3rd mattress in less than a years time due to the mattress collapsing in the same exact areas. The first mattress I had I collapsed right outside the first 100 days and once you are out of the return window, you are stuck and no refund or exchange will be issued. Instead, they will just keep replacing the mattress as many times as needed within the 10yr time frame. They will continue to say it is rare for this to happen, but the replacement mattress collapsed in less than 3 months time as well. While all reviews might be great, this mattress is not for plus size people. Let my mistake be to your benefit.

I am going to give you a brief history on why I chose this mattress. I was in an accident about 18 months ago. I had some back issues from the accident. I doing a ton of research to find a mattress that will work for me with my current issues. I found out was sleep deprive after the accident my back was hurting. The three things that I was looking for a mattress. 1 Comfort I was looking for a mattress to contour to my body with pinpoint accuracy all of the beds I try at the stores it didn't fit my needs. 2) Heat all of the mattress I tried was making me sweat like a pig because most of the mattress was made of memory foam plus I found out, later on, I had cold and heat issue from the accident. I would wake in the middle of the night very hot. I couldn't go back to sleep till my body cool off or I just stay up in till I fell asleep. During a work day, I wake up and didn't go back asleep until the next evening. 3) Price The recommendations from my back doctor and from my online research was to buy a mattress that would cost me between $3500 to $6000. I didn't have the money because of all my medical bills was putting me in the red. I thought it was a lost cause with the cost of buying a new mattress then I saw your commercial on youtube. I couldn't sleep that night so I watch the whole thing. When I saw the raw egg test and did my research on the material of the mattress. I knew I found I was looking for plus I try the bed for a 100 night I can't beat that offer. I was waiting so badly for my mattress to made and ship to me. When I finally got it I was smiling from ear to ear. The first night was tough getting used to sleeping for more than 5 hours. The second night was great I slept for 10 hours without no pain to my body. I had the matters for all most a month. I tell my friends and family the purple mattress is the ultimate mattress. They ask me why I tell them somebody took the time and the hard work to look at all the negative issues that every mattress have got rid all of them and made the ultimate mattress. I've had a purple mattress for 3 years and I feel I can now give it a fair review. When I first received the mattress I thought it was so amazing to lay on! It felt so good on my back and my bad hip. It took getting used to but was super comfy. I did notice that I would wake up with a numb arm sometimes because I didn't need to shift or roll as much to get comfy but that wasn't a dealbreaker for me. What frustrates me now is that the mattress is definitely sunken in the middle even though that wasn't supposed to happen. It feels like a 30 year old well used mattress instead of only 3 years. I often end up sliding toward my husband in the middle of the night and definitely get too hot. Also, I normally sleep on the right side of the bed, but my bad hip is now at an angle that hurts too much so I've needed to switch sides. Minor complaint but still annoying that the sag is that pronounced. So I would say this mattress does not live up to the hype. Maybe it does in the first year but it doesn't stand the test of time. I suppose it's true that you get what you pay for.

Having recently purchased the Queen Purple mattress, I'm living my dream of a more restful night. With one back surgery under my belt, and another in the not so distant future, the Purple is literally saving my back. While my back pain is not gone due to degenerative disks, I wake up in the morning without the aches and pains I've been accustomed to over the last 15 years. Normally I sleep on my side because of the back issues, but I'm finding that I wake more and more on my back, because the Purple does a great job of keeping things in proper alignment, and it is no longer uncomfortable to sleep on my back. I'd give it a 10 if my back were truly aligned (with the stars), but I could only ask so much of the Purple. Yeah, back to the future with Purple.

Unsure if I need to break the mattress in but this was definitely not what I expected. Very uncomfortable I just can't seem to get a good night sleep. Sides feel like your sleeping on a hill and you almost roll to the middle. Very disappointed my expectations were so high due to the reviews.

Didn't think the mattress was that great in general. I'm a side sleeper and my hips and shoulders were sore, even after using way passed the adjustment period. Returned for that reason. Mattress was delivered quickly, but sheets took about 2 months, mattress protector and frame (which we still wanted to try with our new mattress) took 3 months!!! 3 months of our mattress being on the floor!!! They sent me a purple chair cushion after about 2 months, but 3 months - come on!
