Me and my fiance have loved the Purple Mattress since the day it arrived! I was having the worst back pain from our other mattress and I have not had pain since our Purple arrived. I sleep in many different positions throughout the night and I have not been uncomfortable sleeping in any style. The sheets are pretty awesome too. Customer service has been great and everything showed up on time. I would definitely buy again!

I love my purple mattress! For this to be an "honest review", as purple asked for, I would need to make a few things clear. There was an adjustment period for my body to "break into" the bed. First night: I put an egg in a zip lock bag and tried breaking it on the bed. I couldn't. I got mad and tried jumping on the egg with my feet on the bed. Still I could not break it. I spent 30 minutes trying to prove the commercial wrong. I wasted my time. My first impression was how this bed is a whole different kind of cushion. It's both soft and firm. You sink in a ways to sort of cup your body and then get the support from the foam underneath the elastic. I found it to be rather soft. I weigh 165lbs, if you weigh more the bed will be firmer, if you weigh less, it will be even softer. It was just right for me. Night 2: I wanted to return it. At this point all the bed had going for it was how cool and breathable it was to sleep on. Night 7: I wanted to throw it in the yard and burn it. My back was sore all over. I had a hard time getting comfortable while sleeping.I wanted to give the bed every chance I could so I went to the store and purchased some jersey knit sheets. Week 2: My back only seemed to hurt more although the sheets had entirely transformed the bed into a more breathable, more cushioned, and more supportive bed. I stuck it out determined to give it the full 30 days. Week 3: My back began to get used to the support this bed offered. The sheets vastly improved the cool temperature. I was hoping for the best and only had 1 week before I was going to make my decision. Week 4: All pain went away. I slept harder, longer, better, and cooler. I really started to like it and decided to give it another week. Week 5: I slept on a different bed for one night. The next day I felt horrible and realized how much I had really enjoyed the purple. It provides the perfect support for your back. So if your anything like me don't expect it to be the best sleep right away. Give it time and let it grow on you. We have had the Cal King Purple, frame and mattress cover for almost 2 months. We have slept more comfortably and soundly since the first night. I have arthritis in both shoulders, hips and back from an old injury. I no longer wake up sore from sleeping too long in one position. If I am still tossing and turning to avoid it, I don't know, as I am no longer waking up every few hours. It is wonderful to finally sleep well.

My husband and I have had our purple mattress for about 3 weeks. Let me just say we love it! Before we got our mattress I wouldn't sleep through the night. I would get maybe 3-4 hours of sleep and would often sleep on our couch. Our mattress at the time was hard as a rock. So I went on a major mattress hunt. And purple was recommended several times. I can definitely see why! I sleep through the night and I fall asleep faster. My husband who can honestly sleep anywhere at any time. Said he even noticed that he sleeps more sound with the purple. I would also like to mention the purple sheets are amazing! So soft and stretchy. Our sheets would always fling up in the middle of the night but these sheets haven't moved once. Truly one of the best purchases we made. Something to note is how heavy the mattress actually is. It took both of us to slide it in our house.

I delayed writing a review until a full three months had passed by even though I noticed the results within the first two weeks. I have a bad back stemming from a motorcycle accident when I was in my twenties. The decades have not been kind and I have had terrible sleep for years. We tried memory foam and expensive air mattresses and I only had limited relief. With the Purple Mattress I have significantly less back pain overall, but specifically less hip and shoulder pain that would wake me up in the middle of the night. I am very pleased with the purchase and would heartily recommend to anyone looking for a new bed.

I travel for work and stay in many Hotels throughout the yr, so i know a little bit about different mattresses. I'm a side sleeper with chronic shoulders and neck pain, I go to chiropractor often. The Purple Mattress after 3 weeks has eliminated my shoulder pain. I do like this mattress, but have one suggestion. I'm a 260 lb fella, the center of the mattress needs to be slightly firmer, slightly. I've recommended to 5-6 friends already, that are looking at mattresses. Liked it being delivered to my door Fed Ex, very convenient and was easy to set up. Oh and, get rid of the fruit in the PURPLE pants lying on the mattress, just disgusting. - GOOD DAY

So we got rid of our sleep number bed because it just was not firm enough. Husband and I both woke up every morning with shoulder, hip and back pain for 5 years. My sleeping situation became worse when I went thru a double mastectomy 2 years ago. Having had lymph nodes removed from my right arm pit causing nerve damage I suffered night after night and would wake up with a numb right arm that would take 30+ minutes to relax back to a point where showering and dressing for work was not painful. On the VERY FIRST night sleeping on the purple mattress I awoke in the morning with NO numbness in my right arm and was able to fully function. That right there sold me! However night after night (as I type this it has only been 10 nights) the husband and I are sleeping more soundly its amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who has had trouble sleeping in the past. This mattress is firm yet supportive, soft and cradling, and you really do feel the reduction of pressure on your hips, shoulders and back. Thank You Purple!

We purchased the mattress a year ago and loved it. Unfortunately, one side started having issues. When I contacted the company, they said it must have been defective. Purple sent me a new mattress -- even though my original purchase was over a year ago! You can't pay for that type of customer relations! This company definitely stands behind their product. I love them!

Their service was good and the mattress came quickly. I like that they mattress isn't as hot as memory foam, but it still has temperature issues. We've had the mattress for a couple of months and my shoulders (I'm a side sleeper) are much worse with this mattress than with my old mattress.

It may be heavy, but I just came from a temperpedic bed where in the summer it is insanely soft and reflects your heat to winter being rock hard and cold and slowly forms to your body. This mattress is unbelievably comfortable and love the soft stretchy sheets it comes with. It might be a little pricey for just a mattress. But well worth it! Definite buy!
