We purchased after great recommendation from several friends. I like the idea of a company trying a new technology (purple grid) so we went with it. Terrible sleep. Arms fell asleep, not any "weightless" feeling, could feel the grid, hot and cold through the night. After about a month my husband quit sleeping on it an we've been sleeping in the guest room as we wait for our new mattress from another company to arrive this week. I then read more reviews that the mattress isn't ideal for people under 170 lbs, which makes sense because all of our friends who LOVE their PURPLE are heavier than us, and it would probably offer more support if you could actually "squish" the grid and not lay on top of it. Returns representative was friendly and helpful, but they couldn't find anyone in our area to pick up the old mattress so we have to deal with finding a place to donate/recycle and take it there ourselves. Will not be recomending to others.

So for, we love it. I'm disappointed I now see where y'all are giving things away if you buy mattress. I didn't get anything free. Mattress cover would be nice. My husband just said the other day, I has slept the best on the purple than any other bed we have had. I'm very happy so far. The best sleep we have had in years!!

I recently purchased a Twin XL Purple mattress, after several years on a Select Comfort, and a standard coil mattress. I have a history of back problems. After sleeping on my Purple for about 3 weeks, I have noticed a reduction in stiffness and pain after getting up in the morning. I am sleeping longer in between waking up in the night, and I feel more rested. I love my new Purple mattress.

Man even at 22 years old I really needed this, at first I did not know to make the investment but wow!!! It has been one of the best investments I have done. I haveI have done by far. Now I am anxiously waiting for my pillow and if it is the same as my new bed man will I be a happy customer. If I also do like my pillow I will buy the sheets very soon also. By the way I have also gotten a very deeper sleep on this new bed and even though it might be kind of harder for me to get up in the mornings it is still a darn good feeling.

When I was younger the "sleep number" worked fine but as my routine changed I began experiencing restless nights and lower back pain. I decided to try something different and bought a very highly rated foam mattress. My wife loved it but every morning I got up bent over in pain. I gave it almost 100 days' trial but had to return it. That's when I took a chance on Purple. The first night I slept soundly without getting up at all, and when I woke up and put my feet on the floor, I stood straight and tall and felt like a kid again. It's been almost a month now and this has been my story every night, and my wife loves it too! Thanks PURPLE for being so innovative and helping us get a healthy night's sleep again!

We were very skeptical----who buys a mattress on-line anyway? But boy were we surprised, we love our Purple mattress! The entire purchasing process was easy and convenient, and we were kept informed throughout the entire process. I would recommend the Purple mattress to anyone-----it is so nice to sleep on, and both my wife and I absolutely love it!

When we got the bed, I thought I would immediately Love the mattress and the change from a pillow-top mattress (that was 9 years old lol) but that was not the case. It took a few weeks of a tough adjustment period to get used to the mattress but now I am sleeping more soundly, not tossing and turning all night, and most importantly, am not waking up with pain in my hips and shoulders. My husband has a herniated disc and he also had a rough adjustment period, but now he has no more back pain when he lies down. My best advice is to give it a chance if it is a totally different style of mattress for you because there definitely is an adjustment period and it's not necessarily all that fun, but once you get used to it, the bed is amazing and so comfortable!

Let me first start out by saying that the bed was not too bad. Just a little too firm for me. The thing with purple that was horrible was when I ended up wanting to return my bed it was not picked for 2 weeks after I contacted them. The customer service was not good.

Mattresses still make you sweat! of course...sleeping on a plastic egg crate! And keep your apologies- and forget trying to drag these mattresses for return..freakin hassle! Oh ps..the t-shirt sheets...no they dont cut it either! Bought lesson well taught lesson...never again!

After testing out multiple different mattresses we settled on Purple and definitely made the right choice! My back feels great, I have been sleeping great and my only complaint is the fact that I now have a hard time getting out of bed. We also purchased the sheets and I use the seat cushion at work! Big Purple fan!
