I am expecting my 13th baby and have had chronic back pain for a very long time. My OB has said for many babies that it was our mattress. Finally this time my husband said we are getting a new one and he chose the Purple Mattress. It has been amazing. I can't rave about it enough. We are very happy with our purchase. With a single income and 13 children we have to be very picky about where we spend our money. I don't regret this purchase in the least.

This bed is great! I got the bed with sheets, pillows, the whole she-bang and it all goes together soooo well. I heard about it from a friend and decided to buy and I'm glad I did. Going to put another order in and try out the weighted blanket here soon oh the soft stretch sheets are it's a must

The biggest thing I've noticed is that my body doesn't feel nearly as stiff in the morning, compared to my old mattress. That is huge. I still wish my sleep quality was better but that is multi-factoral, not sure if it's just the mattress or other things that need to be addressed

I'm a 150lb guy with back pain (sciatica). I purchased the mattress, the cover and sheets. The sheets are extremely flexible and soft, the protector hasn't been put to test ;) but the matress is comfortable as nothing ever touched before. Perfect for my body and my back pain has reduced when I get off bed. It is firm but soft and so comfortable that doesn't make you turn at all. I'm tempted to try the pillow but not sure yet. The installation took a while because it IS heavy but it was easy to install. Best mattress I've ever had!!!

In a past life I was a truck driver and the only seat cushion that worked for me was the royal purple cushion. I have lower back and hip problems from a previous injury from when I was in the navy. As a driver, I spent countless hours sitting on that seat cushion, it stayed cooled and my hip and back pain lessened over time. When I was looking to upgrade my mattress, I remember how much I always wanted a purple mattress from my experience with the seat cushion. Like I said I have back and hip problems and this mattress is amazing! I sleep on my side but since I broke my hip a few years ago; half way through the night I will turn onto my back because of the pressure on my hip and lower back. I can sleep the whole night on my side and I don't have to switch sides or roll over due to pain. I sleep through the whole night and for me that is saying something. Just like the cushion the mattress stays cool. My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy about Purple now. I've replaced almost every seat with a purple cushion. I purchased the sheets and those are amazing and buttery soft. Purple just makes quality products. If they made shoe insoles or bike seats; I would purchase those as well. If you have any type of back or hip pain these mattresses are amazing! My boyfriend tends to be very picky and he loves the mattress and his seat cushion for his gaming chair.

I have conducted many hours of research and deciding amongst other options in the online mattress industry. I am going on 2.5 months of owning and sleeping on my Purple Matress and I never had a bad night of sleep. My previous mattress has served me 10 years and was nervous to switch but I knew I needed too. If you are seeking a mattress with a high value, low cost, and easy setup, I highly recommend Purple Mattress. This is also my first review I have ever written, no I am not paid to say nice things. I have not had mattress for very long. Still having same amount of lower back pain. I had a sleep number bed before The Purple and they seem to be the same at this point. I will continue to sleep on and hopefully my back pain will decrease before the 100 days.

My husband has had lower back pain for YEARS. A week on the purple mattress and it was virtually gone. We've had it for a few months now and same good story. It's a very different sensation than lying on a normal spring mattress, but I have to say it's very comfortable and I enjoy it very much. Also your partner doesn't really move at all if you have to get up. We are happy with our purchase!

I have replaced the mattress once after one year. Now it needs replacing again one year later. The adjustable bed frame is broken. I am a 64 year old and have to pay someone to switch mattresses. If you weigh more than 200 lbs don't get this mattress.

I used to do what they called "sleep flail" - I would just toss around from side to back to front, whatever felt comfortable. The older I get, the less I found myself doing that. Probably because I'd get sore sleeping any other way than on my left side. I definitely haven't slept on my stomach since high school. But the night they delivered the Purple bed, I woke up in the morning, from a deep sleep, on my stomach. I was floored! Basically, this mattress is so comfortable - supportive, but yielding in exactly the right way - that my body can sleep in any position it wants. I've noted this freedom to move significantly cuts down on any soreness upon waking up. In particular, the morning pain my lower back that I had just written off as "getting older" is almost 100% gone, and I've only had the bed for about a month. The only thing I am unsure about is that now, when I do sleep on my side, the pillow that I have does not seem like it "goes" with the mattress - like somehow it doesn't support my head in a complimentary way. This could be as simple as "I need a new pillow," of course. I like the mattress so much, though, that I'm definitely not opposed to just seeing if getting the Purple pillow fixes that issue as well! Overall, I love my bed, and I actually look forward to going to sleep. (And I'm a night owl, lol.) They can pry this mattress out from under my cold dead body - no need for a 100 night trial for me!
