Unlike my wife, it took me a little getting used to. I like that it bounces back like a spring mattress, but keeps the movement somewhat isolated. The part that took getting used to was the springiness of the purple layer can make it feel firm even yet not all at the same time.

First and foremost we absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the mattress!!!!! We tell everyone about it! Have it for 2 years now! Unfortunately we can't say the same about the sheets. We received our first set and LOVED the soft feeling but they started getting holes in them. Contacted customer service and they were awesome and received another set! We were pumped! Except within a very short amount of time they too started getting little holes in them because the fabric is so thin :( wouldn't recommend the sheets. Such a bummer because while we give our great mattress reviews we have to tell others not to get the sheets :(

Purple Sleeper for one month now. Much more comfortable sleep. No more back pain. Wife no longer has sore hips. Best mattress we have ever slept on. Previously used Serta Perfect Sleeper Brookside Cushion Firm Eurotop for 4 years. Started getting low spots. We'll see how long this Purple holds up, so far, so good! Very heavy mattress. ~115lbs Difficult to crawl across, it really sinks in with lots of pressure. They provide a tool for cutting open the bag the mattress comes in, but the tool broke after getting about half way through the first strap. Just used scissors after that point. Mattress unrolled from the packaging in the wrong way, had to flip the mattress after unrolling it.

We are so happy with our new Purple mattress! We had a pillowtop mattress that became extremely uncomfortable after 10 years. After a lot of research we decided to go with Purple and it is the best decision we made. We bought the king size and upon opening it, it rolled out easily. There is a slight smell and we let the mattress air out for a few hours but we slept on it the same night without a problem. It was so comfortable and soft but firm. It hugs your body so that every part is supported and leaves no lasting indent when you turn. You cannot feel the other person moving around on their side of the bed so you can sleep undisturbed and you can turn very easily on this bed. It has no edge support so if you are used to sitting on the edge to put your socks on, you may be a bit disappointed. The more we have slept on it, the more comfortable it has become. We both wake up with minimal to no body now. My husband is 5'11" and I am 5'3" and we are both overweight. The mattress gives us great support. We have been losing weight since purchasing the mattress and the comfort level is still the same. Even our three kids jump into bed with us sometimes and everyone sleeps soundly. It shipped to us in about two weeks. I would highly recommend this mattress to people both large and small, tall or short. Thank you Purple for the best sleep I've had in years!!!

Cal king standard size is 72 wide and 84 long. The purple Cal king I got measured 72 wide and 80 long (at the bottom). In addition, the concave shape of the mattress makes the top of the mattress smaller, measuring 70 wide and 78 wide. This resulted having a gap of almost 6 inches at the top of the bed, pillows keep falling in that gap. I have notified purple and they have sent a new mattress, the new one is better but it still is 3 inches short. How is it possible that they have sent 2 defective beds in a row I have requested a refund.

The mattresses is not worth the money. It doesn't give enough support and I'd you're side sleeper(like I am) you will feel like you're sleeping on yoga mat. In addition it is very fragile so be super careful when opening it because they will not take it back if its damaged. They say that you need about 3 weeks for your body to adjust. But in 3 weeks I can adjust to sleep on the floor-bas argument. The bright side is that it was easy hassle free return.

I was so excited to try the Purple mattress after reading reviews and talking with friends/family. I've slept on it for about 3 weeks now, and it's not any worse or better than the mattress I have had for the last 15 years. It's fine, but definitely wasn't worth the money.

So Let me start out by saying that I have lower back issues and I'm only 30 years old. I was told by a doctor to get a better mattress and was instructed to get an intelligel bed. With our old mattress I would wake up every morning with a stiff lower back regardless of what position I slept in. I saw the ad for Purple, loved the concept, ordered one as soon as they came available. The best and most simple way for me to say how awesome this mattress is would be to say that I haven't woke up with a sore back once since we got it! It's soft and my wife loves it as well. Both of us sleep like babies every night and feel great every morning! I've recommended the bed to at least 4 people who've bought it and they love it as well. Great product and amazing price point!

I was reeled in by the ad campaign, which says a lot because I haven't had my interest in a product perked from an ad in years (kudos to the marketing team)! I was however, skeptical. I know many people who have bought "the next great mattress" a hundred times over just to be constantly disappointed. I didn't want to join that club! I scoured the internet seeing what people thought and it was generally positive, so I took the leap of faith. It is amazing. It is everything I could've hoped it to be! The texture of the surface took some getting used to, but once I got over that, it is the most comfortable mattress (or most comfortable... anything!) I have ever had the pleasure to use, much less own! My fiancé loves how comfortable. She always used to do her work from home on the couch, but now she lays in bed simply cause its so comfortable! Our dog was very confused by the texture, but he too has learned to love it! The mattress doesn't transfer motion at all, so even when I am jumping over my fiancé to go to work early in the morning, she doesn't wake up! And she is a very light sleeper! My fiancé does, however, think this mattress keeps her hotter than our older mattress. We have yet to confirm wether or not this is the mattress or the new sheets, so it may not even be the mattress! All in all, 100% satisfied with this mattress. If you are considering getting this mattress, I would certainly say do it! I couldn't be happier.

We bought the mattress, mattress cover, sheets, and two pillows, and let me tell you it was worth it. I am such a hot sleeper. The mattress helps keep me cool. The pillows never lose shape and the bamboo sheets are super soft. I would buy this set all over again! Bravo purple bravo!
