When I got it I expect a little too much. I honestly thought it would be life changing, coolin, hitting all the spots just right. But it could've been the bed frame I got, for it could've been that I prefer a much more frim bed but I woke up with (lack if better works) back pain for like 20 mins then I was fine after standing up. Its a good quality. But it was not much different from my original bed, which I don't mind loved my old bed. But it was just to much to get the same bed

I have had this mattress gor about 2 and half months now. I have to say I get the best sleep on this mattress. I suffer from constant back pain but after sleeping on this mattress I dont have much back issues anymore. It is heavy if your bed needs to go ul a flight of stairs either have muscle or help. I would recommend this bed to anyone.

The Purple mattress is wonderful to sleep on. So supportive all over. I used to wake up with my lower back aching, and I'd have to immediately get up and out of bed because it hurt to lay down any longer. After sleeping on the Purple mattress, I am no longer in pain when I wake up, and I don't have to get out of bed immediately. We love our Purple mattress!

My husband has never been able to sleep well or to fall asleep quickly. Every morning, no matter the mattress he slept on, he would wake up in pain. Every night he would toss and turn, and if he was asleep within 1 hour of putting his head on the pillow, that was a good night. I wasn't too far behind - and my issues would be worse if I was on a firm mattress (preferred by him) and his were worse on a soft mattress (preferred by me). With Purple, we fall asleep within minutes, and stay asleep until the alarm goes off. No more tossing and turning, no more pain. I wish we had known about this mattress sooner, as it has been worth every penny. When the eventual time comes, there is no doubt we will be buying another Purple.

I have been pleased with my purple purchase, about the 100 day mark .I began to notice the area where I sleep wasn't a firm as when new . The opposite side is still firm . When pressure is applied its easy to feel the grid pattern isn't as close of firm as the unused side. I am beginning to question the capability of this mattress if I am seeing a breakdown in stability with only about 120 days in service. I am also a bit concerned about how cool this sleep system would be , to me it was false or poorly researched information. Yes I do wake up during the night because my bedding is hot . Never had that issue with a conventional bedding. If I would have known these issues before,I am certain I would not have purchased, this Purple sleep system. At the rate the patented grid is failing I am pretty sure one side of my mattress will be worthless within the first 12 months.

Long story short, i hope.. the mattress was great for my husband (6'2" 220lbs) who is a side sleeper who sleeps very hot & had back pain. He slept a lot cooler & more soundly throughout the night & this mattress relieved his back pain completley. I (5'6" 125lbs) am a side sleeper & was suffering with hip & shoulder pain. The bed did relieve those pains, however, i feel i was too light to get the full effect of the mattress & this also made it too firm. I was sleeping as soundly even after having my husband break my side in. My fitbit also proved that i wasn't getting great sleep. I did end up returning the mattress & buying a Layla, which i so far love. However, i have to commend Purple for making the return so easy & hassle free, their great customer service, & the fact they donate all returned mattresses to non-profits. They are a wonderful company that i would still reccomend to anyone heavy enough. In fact, my 85yr old grandfather still is enjoying his Purple mattress that i talked him into getting.

I bought the original single layer Purple mattress and am actually disappointed in the quality of sleep I get. I toss and turn all night and wake up 2-3 times a night still just like when I slept on the floor. I tend to sleep on my side most of the night and I bought this mattress thinking it would help me no cut off the blood to my arms and support my back, but that just wasn't the case. Don't get me wrong though, If you're a back sleeper this is a wonderful mattress! its better than sleeping on the floor for sure, but I don't think I'll keep it

I dropped 3 points on the pain scale overnight. My quality of life has skyrocketed - I'm getting much better rest, sleeping less but better, my whole body is functioning better, it's wonderful! Also, the little squares are *super* stimmy, and feel great to my ASD senses.

I have never had a bed as comfortable as purple. For a long time I wanted to get a bed, I was always thinking about tempurpedic, but I'm glad I waited for purple. I sleep deeper and longer, something I have struggled with for a long time as I suffer from insomnia.

It was easy to unpack and set up--it took about 5 minutes. I slept so hard and so well the first night, I didn't hear my alarm or the coffee pot start grinding (I'm one who is normally awake before my alarm or coffee pot starts) and I sprang out of bed to get the kids moving for school--without any backaches or neck aches--which were two reasons we switched mattresses in the first place! We're now 3 weeks into sleeping well on this mattress. I am also using the purple pillow and loving that as well. My neck aches are gone! I hear that some people have had funny odors or powder with their new mattress. I can happily report that we've had no funny odors or powder with either product.
